I have created a partial cui file that creates a new tab and a panel in the tab. This works fine.
When I try to create another cui for another plug-in I cannot get the two tabs to merge. I have set the tab Aliases to be the same but they show up as two tabs next to eachother.
I'm looking for a plugin that will merge one layer with all of the individual layers below it. So this would be the equivalent of duplicating one layer multiple times and then moving each duplicate between all the layers below and then merging the duplicate layers down to each original individual layer.
It could be seen as putting an ace on top of the deck, duplicating that ace 51 times, and then putting a duplicate ace in between each of the cards below and then merging each duplicate ace card down to each of the other individual 51 cards below in the deck.
I've found allot of nice multi-layer plugins (Like "LayerGroups") on the GIMP plugin registry that have worked doing things that I need, but now I'm looking for this one on the GIMP plugin registry and I'm not having any luck.
I've followed a few examples and am able to create a new tab on the Ribbon, with panels and buttons, that appears when my DLL is loaded. However, it doesn't persist through workspace changes. I've read that this is due to my use of AdWindows.dll and my current code, as opposed to AcCui.dll, which would modify a CUIx file (that I don't know much about) to make persistent changes.

issues switching layout tabs by clicking on the tabs?
Occasionally, clicking the Model or other layout tab results in no action, as if I'm not clicking on it.
All other controls (within and external to C3D) function normally so it's not a mouse hardware issue.
It will usually correct itself if I "restore down" the main application window, then maximize it again.
The -layout command is a workaround too.
I have several paperspace tabs on my drawing. When I create a new layer on the drawing, I have to go to every tab and viewport to turn on or off the new layer. Is there a way to create a layer that is turned off in all the drawing viewports and tabs. Then, I only have to go to the paperspace tab and viewport I want the layer to be seen and turn it on.

I don't need any fancy effects - I'm thinking I need one layer that is a semi-transparent colored rectangle, another layer that creates a gradient to make it look "shiny plastic" and another layer with a smaller white rectangle on top of/under the others so it looks like the white tab is showing through the plastic.
I have tried to use the paint tools and I am such a beginner I cannot get what I want.

I am having trouble using the Sketchbook Plugin for AutoCAD. The 'SketchBook Designer' tab and it's content appears and works. When I create a 'New Canvas' the canvas appears on the screen, but the 'Create Canvas' tab does not sequentially appear. All of the settings do not appear and I cannot apply the canvas, hence I do not have any access to the SketchBook features.

Why cant I save a cdr job with all the merge fields setup so that next time I open the file I can go straight to 'merge to new document'.
So Ive set up a 10 to view raffle tickets job. Inserted 20 numerical merge fields, positioned, resized, applied font size color alignment etc etc etc.. Takes ages..... So then merge to a new document, works nice and I can save it fine.
There are a hundred reasons why i may have to close the 'master' merge file before the job has been successfully printed. It may be a repeat print job.
Any which way I really dont get why the live merge data fields are lost on closing the file.
Is there a maximum amount of tabs you can have?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm scrolling through my Layout tabs using the arrows on the bottom left of the screen, if I'm scrolling right I have to click the arrow at a certain speed or it gets hung up on one tab and won't scroll any further. If I'm scrolling left, it only lets me scroll as far as the active tab and then it fades both the "left" and "skip to end left" arrows and won't let me scroll at all. And both directions, unless I'm clicking very slowly on the arrows, instead of scrolling it highlights the name of the tab as though I've clicked "Rename".
