Is there any Event or ApI to get the Point3D when the mouse is moving using .net
I want to get Point3D when the mouse is moving just as CAD shown on lower left corner. Is there any way to get it with .net?
I have a button which has a mousover/mousout animation. When i click the button, it will shrink down to 0%. when it does, my mousout event is triggert, which i dont want.
how can i disable the mousout event after the click event?
I have the right click on autocad for repeat the last command.
when i launch my prog. --> the prog show a form with a datagridview. I have added a contextMenuStrip in this datagridview.
SO when i launch the prog with the right click (repeat last command) the form show and the contextmenustrip too. (if the mouse is on the datagrid.)

How to set a tool tip to show up next to and follow the mouse during user interaction. It's the same function that the CommandManager.Pick does?
If it's not a built in function then I guess it's created by a tool tip that gets moved around to follow the mouse on mouse move?
I am developing a .NET application that integrates with AutoCAD Architecture. In my .NET application, I provide my user with a list of drawing files (.dwg) that they can choose to open. Once my user has selected a file, my application will open the selected drawing in AutoCAD Architecture. In this drawing, the user can click on an object in the drawing.
Can this mouse click event be captured and the object ID for the selected object be returned to my application?
I want to be able to read the left click mouse button coordination all the times . Is it possible ?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a problem with an animation in Edge Animate. I try to animate a button which spins 45° on mouse over and back on mouse out. So far no problem. Now i want the button to spin 90° when i click on it and let it stay on this position. I made it spin the 90° but it always spins back on mouse out because the event is still there. Is there any possibility to delet the mouse out event or pause it after clicking on the button. I already tried remove it but without any sucess.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have AutoCAD LT 2011 and a 3D Connexion space navigator. My problem is that whenever I move the mouse, the command that I'm currently on gets canceled. For example, if I am moving something and it's asking me for the target location and I move the 3d mouse to navigate there, I get canceled out of the move command. This essentially means I can't use my 3d mouse for commands (a big problem!).

Have Quadro 3500 video card. Updated the driver for that with no change.
Have a Logitech wireless mouse, M310. Up dated the driver for that with effect.
Changed to a wired mouse, no change.
Is there a setting in Autocad where I can set the refresh rate so that it does not refresh while moving the mouse. Or at least slow the automatic refresh rate down?
I've got my code to create a rectangle just fine, however i've noticed it doesn't take "Z" coordinates at all. I've got through the code and found my issue to be at these lines;

I need to use a Point3d in order to add "Z" but apparently the pline.AddVertexAt only allows for a Point2d.
I want to create a command:
My selection set consists of dbpoints that exists on my drawing and they are more or less in line
I create a new point3dcollection with this db points
I want to create a 3d polyline based on this point3d collection
My problem is : how to sort this point3d collection based on a picked start point and picked end point?
The only idea I have is:
from start point i calculate the distance to each point3d from collection and based on the results i sort the point3d collection based on distances.
my coordinates aren't appearing in the text boxes at the bottom of the screen (see screenshot) when I move my mouse around in a viewport. They just stay blank, so when zooming out or in of a viewport, I have no sense of scale. When I select a vertex/edge/face, then the information appears as expected, but it used to show the dynamic position of the cursor in these fields. I have units set up (feet w/ fractional inches). I'm using 3ds Max 2014.
After checking the online documentation, it appears as though these boxes should be displaying this information:
When you are simply moving the mouse in a viewport, these fields show the current cursor location in absolute world coordinates.Is there any setting that controls this, or any toggle that I'm not aware of? It's difficult to start my scene without knowing roughly where I'm clicking in 3d space.
In CS3 after clicking onto the slider "triangle" I can then adjust it with the mouse wheel. I don't appear to be able to do this in CS6. Can this be remedied?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I move my mouse over my image the brush cursor is not moving and it will not let me click on my image (with the mouse) the crosshair/cursor will follow it, however the brush will not, nor will any other tools, my wacom tablet however works fine.
I thought it must be something to do with GIMP accepting input but its not going as of yet.
I was trying painting with gimp and there is a shortcut in gimp to change the size of the brush/opacity my moving the stylus like you can on photoshop or sketchbook pro.

This would be an incredible time-saver for us artists and not very complex. If not I will suggest this feature to the gimo developers.
After upgrading from CS6 beta to CS6 release this function stopped working (on OS X Lion). The only think that happens when I use both keys (Ctrl+Alt) and move the mouse is moving the whole application/cs6 windows.

I don't want it highlighting the features automatically. I want it to highlight once I click over a feature. My colleagues and I are very distraught by this feature, and will be discontinuing our use of your products that do not allow us to turn this feature off. I'm not sure why you'd want to weed your customer base like this, assuming that I can't turn this option off from the research I've done pouring through the hundreds of complaints related to this issue. I haven't been able to find any posts recently, or regarding Inventor 2013 specificially on this issue, so I was hoping this version had the option of turning it off. Does any of Autodesk's software, such as AutoCAD, have the option of turning it off?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to select part of an image with just one layer. Say I just flattened the image and have to move one part of. I select it with the rectangular select tool. It seems intuitive that I could then just move what I selected, but when I drag the selection, the selection itself moves without moving what is inside the selection.
If I then remember to click the move tool and try to move what's in the selection (seems to work sometimes, maybe when there's multiple layers?) the entire image moves.
The only way I can move part of the image over is if I make a selection and then cut it (ctrl X) then paste it.
How am I supposed to move part of the flattened image, is there a way I can set it to default to "When I select something, I can immediately drag that selected area around."

In my plug-in I have some datagridview to show alignment data of all alignments in drawing.
I have a button called (regen) to update data in these datagridviews. I read again database drawing and re-source again datagridview. (method "upload_all")

But I don´t understand almost.
I only want to execute method "upload_all" if some alignment is modified in the drawing.
Also, I would like to do it if some alignment is just created or deleted.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a group of classes that essentially implement the Model View Controller pattern. The view is a custom control contained in a PaletteSet. The Model is a class that wraps the ObjectID of a given block. I've used these classes to create a replacement for the Properties tool in AutoCAD (2011). Basically the UI can be used to edit the properties of a Dynamic Block. But I apply my own rules and behaviors to the UI.
I had no problems until I added support for the View to be updated when the block is modified (say by dragging to increase a length property). To do this I handle the Modified event of the block. After the block is modified, some rules are evaluated. If the rules result in changes to the block's properties, these changes are applied. This last part is where I'm having trouble.
When the "Rule Evaluation" code is invoked because of changes to the view (WinForms Controls), I am able to update the block's Properties using the following code without issue:

However, when this same code is invoked as a result of the BlockReference Modified event, AutoCAD completely crashes the momment the transaction.Commit() method is called. I've attempted to catch the exception causing the crash and role back the transaction, but AutoCAD simply exits and displays the error (Error handler re-entered. Exiting now.) and no exception is caught. Note that I do not use the BlockReference instance passed to the Modified event handler. Instead I store an ObjectID instance elsewhere which is consistently used to read/write the block.
Is there something I must do before commiting a transaction when using the Modified event of BlockReference? I checked, and the same "Main Thread" is executing whether the code is invoked from a UI event or the Modified event. I tried calling the Close method, which is attributed as Obsolete, on the BlockReference object before executing the transaction without any success.
Is there any chance to define an event trigger which runs an iLogic rule when we check out an already open file? Problem is, that we need to synchronize iProperties on check out to clear "Approved by" when Vault State of Part is "under revision"
Vault Parameter "State" is mapped with iProperty "State".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have addin running inside Inventor. The requirement is that addin should be able to capture the "save as" operation done by the user. Internally, addin stores unique information in the active Inventor file and when user does "Save as", it needs to generate and store the new unique information in the newly created file after Save As. That is the reason it is required to capture the Save As event.
It was possible to capture the "Save" event and there I get Event Timing Enum (kBefore and kAfter). But the file name is same for kBefore and kAfter. So its not possible to identify that its Save As operation.
