I have AutoCad Lt 09 and have just installed Windows 7. Upon installing my AutoCad Lt, my customized toolbars all have clouds with question marks. In the CUI window, the Line button image is nonexistent, in the All Commands menu images don't exist for many of the commands, and many of the untouched menu buttons in default toolbars also have clouds with question marks.
View 3 RepliesI have just switched from PS CS5 to CC. Under CS5, the default for opening multiple images put them in separate windows. Under CC, the default appears to be to put them in separate tabs and one must select separate windows from the Window Arrange sub menu. How can I restore the CS5 default. I prefer to always open multiple images in separate windows.

How do I go about restoring, repairing or fixing the default materials and appearances that come installed with Inventor Pro 2013? I have a stand-alone single seat installation. SP 1.1 has been installed.
I tried to create a custom library of materials and appearances by making a copy of InventorMaterialLibrary.adsklib and renaming it. I then added new materials. Depending on project, I get nag messages regarding template styles in conflict with the library styles. I'm also getting message warning me that the InventorMaterialLibrary can't get loaded.
It is my intent to create a custom materials and appearances library that mimics the as installed InventorMaterialLibrary plus some additional materials and appearances. The custom library and appearances need to be available to all NEW projects and MAY be added to existing projects without getting the nag message about style conflicts.
I'm also seeing a behavior where the default appearance changes from standard light gray to the first appearance listed in the Autodesk Appearance Library, the 1.5 inch blue tile. I suspect that's the reason I'm getting the nag message. How do I fix this? How do I prevent this from happening in the future?
1) Restoring default as installed material and appearance libraries
2) Creating a custom materials and appearance library to contains ALL items found in the InventorMaterialLibrary plus new materials and appearances
3) Preventing nag style conflict messages
4) Preventing the default appearance of light gray to change to the 1.5 inch blue tile

I can't figure out how to restore the default dock (may not be the correct terminology). This has the tools up top, and then, depending on what tool is selected, some settings on the bottom.
I've been in the windows tab trying to locate the dock and can't. Hitting "tab" on the keyboard opens another singular dock. I would like the original multifunction one that comes on install.
I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it remembered my dock settings.
I'm new to Paint.NET and i just made a picture and adjusted the canvas size. I want to know how to restore default canvas size settings.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThere are not problems with my RAW files until I put them in lightroom. When they are enlarged to 3:1 ratio they have weird marks on them. They are not pixles, it's a pattern like I have shot it throught a screen. Sometimes the images print with no problems and other times the pattern prints on the image.

I have a little dialog box with seven radio buttons and a text box that generically accomplishes what it's supposed to do. To retain the current dialog values, I use the write-lline function to store the information and then use read-line to bring that information back in for other Lisps that I use. As long as the user doesn't open the dialog, whatever options were last selected will remain in effect.
However, if the user re-opens the dialog, then whatever defaults I have initially set up in the dialog will then become active (in other words, whichever of the radio buttons I have set to "1")
My question is whether or not I can have the dialog box set up so that if a user selects an alternate radio button, that radio button will keeo it's value whether or not the dialog is opened and until and if the user changes it..
As it is now, whenever the user opens the dialog box to change, say one radio button, the user then has to change the other radio buttons if the defaults don't match the current run requirements.

While editing an image in LR4, I accidentally deleted it from develpment module. I have a problem with restoring it. But I see the same image file by opening Explorer or navigating the original folder of image source. I could not re-import the same deleted image in Library module. ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust noticed that all photos that I had imported since last July have disappeared from the library. I've checked that I'm not using the backup library. I'm not sure what is the cause or even really if it just happened. I've imported photos last week, and those are present. But those added between end of July and end of December (the last import before the one last week) are gone. The files itself are still present, but they are not part of the library anymore. Though, I'm happy the originals are intact, I'm frustrated at the thought of redoing all the keywords, ratings and develop settings.
My setup: mbp with 2 drives (one contains all applications, the other has lightroom library). The raw files are on an external drive. Until today I've been using version 3.5. I upgraded to 3.6, hoping that maybe this will fix this, but no luck.
How I can restore references to the images in my library?
I seem to have a corrupted version of LR4 and the Adobe tech in India got on my computer remotely and really screwed me up even worse. He seemed to reset the default system and removed the plist (which I have on my desktop) but the LR version now is showing up as it was 6 months ago and I am missing many images, collections etc. His answer was " Well just re import the images and sorry I don't know MAC".
I have a mac and am not sure where to restore them from in Time Machine or if I put the plist back that will fix the problem. I do not back up in LR since is creates duplicate files which take up way too much space when you have over 50k images.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a 3images with a common background, but there's different text and each picture has a different part of the background intact. I'm looking for a way to restore the back ground by over layer the images together. I originally tried with one image and selecting the text with the magic wand and filling it with content aware fill. But the results were so so.
So I have a few questions;
1) the images have slightly different orientation. I can't get them to perfectly align, its weird, I really can't do it. I can get it close, but not perfect, is there a simple way ?
2) How do I keep the common element between the images (the background) and remove what's different (the text) ?
I tried overlaying them after having deleted the text, but I still get the damn contour effect.
3) Furthermore, the colors are slightly different between the images, is there a simple way to get them to match ?
by mistake I imported (moved) several AVI and MPEG videos into a specific folder that I inteded to use as backup for one of my relatives.
Problem is that my original folders, where I stored these videos, along with specific names regarding genre and/or subject were left intact, with nothing inside them.
I am trying to find a way to "revert" the import process and send those files back to where they belong.
Okay I am trying to make a homemade flip book in Photoshop CS5 and am trying to save the frames. I imported a video and converted it into individual layers for every frame.
Now I'm trying to save it by going to 'File > Scripts > Export Layer to Files' and there is no options in my Scripts tab at all.
When I go to 'File > Scripts' all that's in there is just 'Browse'.
Then when I click on 'Browse' it just takes me to the folder where I opened the PS file. How I can get the default scripts back? I don't even have any scripts to export layer comps, which is something I do frequently.
I have a custom toolbar that I've used for years in an olderversion of CAD. Now I'm in 2012 and loaded my custom toolbar in from my previous CUI. Naturally it dropped in all question marks even though I have all paths in the support file added. I even copied all my bitmaps to autodesk's default bitmap location. Neither work.
So after that I went into the CUI and manually selected the bitmap image for "small image" and "large image". It shows in the CUI now, but no luck on the main board. (also, not that this matters, must be a glitch but it won't even show in the CUI until i manually select another bitmap and reselect my origional desired image)
So then I tried taking the whole path and copying it into the CUI manually but it goes right back to defaulting to (MYIMAGENAME.BMP) without keeping the extension. My other custom toolbars loaded with all the pictures but this one just refuses to cooperate.
I just loaded 2014 onto a new computer and poof every custom toolbar has a question mark. Yet the image displays on the preview in the cui.
All of my button images are in a folder on my C: drive and that path is in the support file search path.
I went to one of the buttons and click on the small and large image and browsed to the folder with the BMP files and clicked it for both small and large.. And when I clicked 'ok' everything started to display correctly.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a new computer and want to move the databse catalog over. I backed up in PSE 9 to an external hard drive. I connected to HD to the new computer and tried a resotre catalog. I chose "New Location" since I was going from XP to Windows 7 and was unsure if there would be a conflict with file locations. I also chose "Restore Original Floder Strucure". Very quickly I recieve an error message "Could not restor file .xml". I have run Restore Catalog several times and each time a DIFFERENT FILE receives the error message. I then disabled Norton Anti Virus Auto-Protect. I then disabled several programs running in the background. Same problem. I then copied the Backup Catalog to the new computer and tried to Restore it from there. Same Problem. I have now run a Repair Catalog on the original file. PSE states there is no error. I want to purchas PSE 11, but wanted to install/restore the database with the same version 9 first.

I am growing increasinly frustrated. I just installed AutoCAD LT 2013 on my laptop. I managed to get everything customized the way I want, except the button icons on my (classic) toolbar are much too small. If I go into the menu and select 'use large icons', they are too huge. My screen resolution DOES NOT need to be changed or adjusted. I went to the help menu to see what I can do, and found that I can go into CUI and adjust the size of the button icons that way, via the button image editor, however there is no 'button image editor' dialog box when I select any given toolbar command.

There is precious little documentation on this feature. I can happily index and attach my points (the scaling seems off...even though I set it to 1.0...) but I cannot seem to do much with the points beyond this. Obviously, I would like to make a surface but the Surface tools don't seem to operate on these points. There were no options during import, unlike other point imports, to make them show as points, splines, surface.
What can I do with these data?
I can't seem to get this working in 2011... the bounding box for the point cloud is all that shows up. How to get a good 3dDWF or 3D PDF of a point cloud out of c3D?

BUT....
I want some clouds in the sky, and when i choose for background, there's no sun! So who knows/wants to find out, how to create hem both!?
