How to keep a section view of an iam active when accessing the distance tool? As soon as I click on the distance tool, the half-section disappears. This makes it difficult to measure relationships from one component to another. I am using Inventor 2013 which was recently installed on our workstations.

I would like to be able to put a button on the form that allows users to use the "Measure Distance" tool so that they can measure the part while they are creating the description.
Any code that I could use to activate the "measure" tool while a vba form is active?

The distance is between two hole axis.
I use Measure Distance tool.
I do not have the “Select Other” option to choose axis supposedly pop up ofter the preset delay time. Seems like Application Option – General – Selection is responsible for that?
But it is checked to ON as on pic attached. My laptop machine works fine with the same settings.
I am trying to verify the bending strength of a solid part. Need to calculate the section modulus on certain cross section. Don't know how to do it using inventor.

In ps7 editor I can have 2 pictures cascaded and using the marquee tool and the move tool insert a section of one picture into the other. I cannot do this in ps11, what am I doing wrong?

usually, it will work when i frst open the document, but after i start making new layers/text then i try to do this, the shape i make disappears.

I'm using Premiere Pro CC. I have created a title in title tool and I have added a drop shadow. I can see the drop shadow when I still have the title tool open. Once I close the title tool window the drop shadow disappears? I have tried different fonts nothing seems to work. Don't know what else to try?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMaybe it's a problem with Mavericks or with my Mac Mini late 2012. But when editign text with anchored images and other text frames, all the contect disappears. When I click outside the box with the selection tool, everything works ok again. It seems to me a visual glitch, because the content does not really disappears, only in does not allow you to "visually" edit it. If I use a visualization setting of low quality (image boxes shown as gray boxes) everything works as usual. Any clue?

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I open up Inventor 2014 the Vault tab is visible in the ribbon; however, when I create a new file (of any type) the vault tab disappears from the ribbon. I can retrieve it by right clicking on the ribbon, clicking ribbon appearance and selecting reset ribbon. This fix is only temporary because if I close out Inventor and re-open it I must go through the same steps to retrieve the Vault tab in the ribbon. Any way to make it stay in the ribbon so I don't have to reset the ribbon every time?

So I have a 3D sketch. As you can see in the image attached, there are circles on a 2D plane that are attached to circles on another 2D plane via all the purple lines. My goal is to do a sweep for each of the circles so that I can get a bunch of holes. However, after I do the first sweep, the sketch disappears (see pic 2) and I do not know how to go back to the sketch so I can sweep again and again.
