Maya :: 2014 / Unable To Export And Import IGES Formats
Nov 21, 2013the maya 2014 Version I am running is not able to export and import IGES formats.
OBJ and FBX is working though.

Dec 28, 2011I've inadvertently changed something that mades the import/export screen too large, and I can't click onto the open, save, etc. buttons on the bottom right. I've tried dragging the screen up to the top, but I still can get to those darn buttons!

Feb 21, 2008Photoshop CS3 won't let me paste in a screen shot anymore. I hit PrtScn, open Photoshop, create a new file (the file IS created at the size of the screen, which is a start), and hit paste and nothing happens. Edit/Paste is greyed out in the menu.
I can however, paste a screen shot into Word, and then copy and paste that into Photoshop, but Word does something to the colors in addition to creating an extra step in the process.

May 2, 2013I am using Photoshop CS6 to prepare images for use in online Help and a print / pdf user guide for the company's newest software / Web app. What do you do to remove blank space from a screen capture? I am specifically curious if you add some type of indicator that tells the user that the actual image will be larger.
The first screen shot (left to right) is a typical screen shot that I've not edited. In the second one, I've cut the bottom button bar and moved it up to reduce the white space in the image. In the third image, I added a quick and dirty little "wave" to tell everyone that I've cut out some of the white space.

Jun 27, 2012I am making a screen shot video for my website. I created 6 individual short videos that look great. When you play them individually, they look great. These are "how to use the website" short videos that do have typing on the screen. The typed words are perfectly clear as individual videos.
As soon as i merge the clips into 1 video, the typed words and the whole video gets fuzzy. I have re-shot new videos and I get the same result.
I have searched all over the internet for the last couple of weeks researching a solution. I've enlisted smart proxy and gone through just about every setting in "preferences" painstakingly slow and I still can't figure it out.
All of my information for my computer should be correct, but wasn't sure if i got the video card correct.
Paint Shop Pro :: X3 Service Packs And Screen Shot Capture?
Sep 30, 2011I have just installed PSP X3. I have 2 questions that I could not find answers to when searching the forum (though admittedly I found searching through here very confusing at times)
First the Service Packs. Do I need to install each on of these in chronological order? Or, will installing Service Pack 5 include all the prior service packs, so I only need to install that one alone?
Secondly, Screen Capture. I have clicked on Import/Screen Capture. However, Set Up and Start are grayed out and will not allow me to do it. On my old computer the prior version of PSP worked beautifully with screen captures and I never had to do any tweaking to make it work. What do I need to do in order to get Screen Capture functionality?
I'm not a pro at any of this by any stretch of the imagination. I'm a journalist and I use PSP for the pictures that are uploaded to my column. I need this screen capture capability in order to grab important pictures that I need on occasion.
Lightroom :: Raw Files Won't Import When Shot In RAW / JPG
Oct 22, 2012I just shot in raw+jpg for the first time. Lightroom 4 won't import the raw file but will import the jpg. It says something like "lightroom doesn't support this raw file format". I don't get it though because if I shoot in just raw it will import fine.

With the black and white files I got the error message saying that the files could not be read. I was shooting with a canon rebel t2i (550D), importing into lightroom 3.2 on a mac OS X.

Sep 12, 2013I can't seem to import all my raw images from D800 in a single shot. It imports a few and displays a box saying some of the images were not imported (gives me a range). Re-importing fetches a few more before the msg is displayed again. I have to repeat this several times (7-10) before all images (250) are imported.

Camera is a Canon EOS 70D, working with Raw files.Just noticed that when applying a range of changes to an image - Tone / Presence / Noise / Crop / Sharpening (and others)When exporting the image
- export to JPG, TIFF and PSD works ok, all changes applied correctly
- export to Raw and DNG do not include changes applied to image - original image is exported
Not a show stopper as I have usable formats, but would like all file formats available for flexibility.

Dec 11, 2012I recently completed a new parts list style - which I thought would be nice to use in some other idw's. So I exported it and saved it as "XXX BBB". Its original name was "XXX AAA".
When I go into another idw and import it I get it coming in as "XXX AAA" - even though I'm importing "XXX BBB".
Inventor Professional 2014.
Windows 7 64 bit.

the spreadsheet is a list containing part numbers for purchased components, therefore the list must be filled with information from iproperty. But it has to be where the next available number is. i had this working in iLogic, but have to move it to VBA for better use. the code that worked in iLogic is this one.:

Aug 25, 2012how to change one of the entries in TranslatedStrings.txt in order to provide a different/custom destination folder naming scheme for importing.
This definitely worked in some previous versions (a while since I tried it) but in 4.1 it doesn't seem to work -- there is no such file in /Applications/Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.app/Contents or in the en.lproj subfolder (which seems to be where the non English TranslatedStrings.txt files live).
I won't go into why I need to do this, suffice to say if I can't do it, I'm going to face a tedious process of importing a load of stuff year by year and choosing the destination base folder manually for each year. Which is do-able, it's just a big pain.

Jun 3, 2013I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.

Feb 27, 2013When I select "Save As" or "Export", the list of available file formats is only a fraction of what the help file shows as supported file formats. The help file instructs me to use the instructions in "To modify or repair a CorelDRAW Graphics Suite installation" but this does not work. How can I get or verify that all the file format filters listed in Supported file formats are installed in my CorelDraw 15?
Right now I am particularly interested in saving a CDR in the Visio (VSD) file format, but I would like to have of them available.

If i import my styxml file with the style editor it imports me all the RAL like generic. Instead for example, "metallic paint" appearance has a lot of properties that regards paint.
I want to make a new file (by script) to import, that can add me all the RAL colours as painted ral. I don't find any import/export button.
(Anyway, why RAL colours are not inside the default libraries? Copyright issue?)

Apr 13, 2012I'm working on setting up some sheet formats for a few of our common drawing types. I'm running into an issue where even though I set them up with all the projected views having "Style from Base" checked, when the sheet is generated from the layout they don't carry that setting over.
The particular one I'm working on needs all the views shaded - as it currently works, both of the base views come in correct, but the two projected views are unshaded because this setting is being lost. The format is usable, but currently requires an additional step of turning "Style from Base" back on, so it's not where I want it to be.
If I use one of the Autodesk-created sheet formats from the "standard.idw" template, they all seem to work, yet any I create don't. Am I missing something, or does this just not work?
