Is it possible to have the area portion of the PROPERTIES PANEL display Acres instead of, or in addition to, square feet for a closed object? If so, how to I accomplish this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have altered my CUI so when I double click on civil 3d objects it opens up their properties for quick editing. Never had a problem pre 2013 and I am sure this is something I did but am lost.
Every time I double click on any object it just opens up the properties box. It skips right over my double click customization.
I am using civil 3d 2012 and i want to use rail assembly for my single track rail project. i want to know how can i customize my assembly. As in given defaulf assembly i can keep the width of sub base same on both side of track centerline. But my requirement is to use different widths on left and right side of centerline of track.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen objects are selected, they don't show up on the properties panel (or on the Quick Select panel either) It doesn't matter what method I use:
-Pick one object (lines, arcs, circles, blocks, etc), the Quick Properties flyout appears, but empty. Properties flyout show "no selection"
-Window-select object or objects. Quick Properties bar shows up empty again. Properties flyout show "no selection"
-Click on the Quick Select icon. It prompts me to pick geometry. I do. The Quick Select window comes up, but where it says "Object Type", it only has the option "Multiple", and not the normal list of the geometry you selected.
Have Autocad 2011, as well as Autocad 2010 and Inventor 2010 (trial license) on the same machine.

View 1 Replies View Relateddraw a line or a shape or do almost anything it seems in PSCC, the Properties Panel jumps out. Quite rudely, it blocks the upper right of whatever I am working on. Yes, I can simply close it, but it interrupts my workflow, and it pops out constantly. This definitely did not happen in CS6 or any previous version of PS or even in the first version of PS in Creative Cloud.

When I go to the properties panel, enter the feather radius „0.5“ and hit the enter key it rounds it up to 1 (Pixels).
Entering „0.4“ and hitting enter gives 0.
4.3 gives 4
4.6 gives 5
and so on.
So hitting enter rounds the value, although decimal values are accepted and do work. Why is that? What's the purpose of rounding the number?
When I enter „0.5“ and click somewhere it works without changing it to 1. Then it's really just 0.5 px. But hitting enter (the most natural thing after entering some value) rounds it.
Is this a feature or a flaw?
As title says, can you Disable Properties Panel Popping up When Making Shape?
I can't seem to find the anwser anywhere. Whenever I make any shape it keeps bringing the panel up.
When I switch to a layout there is a panel "Layout Tools" that grabs focuse. I've never had it before, where/how I turn it off?

I'm using C3D 2013 on a 64 bit windows 7 machine. I have basejump loaded, and when I first installed it there would be a "Raster" tab in the ribbon that would allow me to resample, etc. That tab is now gone. How to get it back?
I used to click on a point to select it and a new tab would show up in the ribbon to list points, edit points, etc. That doesn't come up anymore either.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI thought I had a grasp of the CUI routine, but apparently not. I copied the Image panel from the "Insert" Ribbon tab in Task-based Geospatial, and got it where I wanted. The commands are there, but the images are not - just the infamous cloud with "?". I can go back into Task-based Geospatial workspace and the icons are there, but I can't figure out where they are being referenced. Are they embedded here somehow? In the CUI under both the main .cuix list of ribbon panels and those for the partial workspace for TASKBASEDRIBBON, the button images are not linked to anything, just the cloud with "?" It seems that I need to be able to copy the Image panel from the right side window (when Task-based Geospatial is set to current) over to the main .

The Design tab obviously has a lot of valuable information and allows you to edit and manipulate entities within the program. But do the other tabs really have much value?
OK, it seems that there may be times when the Extended Data tab is of use as you can associate hyperlinks, notes, and documents with an drawing object; so I can buy into that. Are there folks finding those features to be useful?
Now I don't know about the Display and Object Class tabs. Whenever I select an item, and happen to check these tabs out, there just doesn't seem to be any useful information. Perhaps I am not selecting the right types of objects. If they are not listing any valuable information, why are they so prominent instead of being buried deep somewhere. Any insight into the usefulness of the two tabs?,
I recently upgraded to a new computer and CAD Civil 3D 2011. I have always had it set up to when I selected a node the attributes (description, point number, etc..) for it would show up in the properties. Now I can only view them by double clicking the node. Is there a way to get them to display in the properties again?
