I am running Civil 3D 2013 on Windows 7- 64 bit OS. When I open Civil 3D I get an error saying "INTERNAL ERROR: Cannot Initialize ASI". Civil 3D has been functioning properly for months and all of a sudden this error came up.

I created a Net dll plugin and successfully loaded in Civil 3d 2014 with NetLoad command, the plugin contains a ribbon bar with a ribbon button launching a dialog.., but when To be Loaded automatically (by AutoLoader) at startup it did'nt load, is there any way to make it load automatically at Civil 3d start up

We have autodesk building design suite premium 2014 on the machines at our office and I can't civil view to run on any of the four computers. There is an error message that says: "no civil view country resource kit folders could be found in the following loaction...". I have seen something online that says to find the civilview2014.msi and run it manually. I have tried that and it says that it can't find autode~1.cab. I have searched the pc and cannot find that file anywhere.
I think the software was installed from a flash drive. Would downloading the software and reinstalling it do anything?
I have also installed all updates and service packs for this product.
after installing Excel 2013 I can not open anything in Inventor."VBA failed to initialize... Please restart inventor".I uninstalled Excel.
I re-installed Inventor.
I reinstalled vba6.msi.
Still running in this error!

Just installed Map 3D 2012 and Bluebeam Revu cad version. Restarted m'puter and Message pops up, then CAD closes. Very counter productive.

When I start my 'puter up for the first time for the day and I double click a drawing file to open it, without first starting ACAD from the ACAD.exe, it begins to open the file but then says it cannot find it, but it still starts ACAD and opens Drawing 1.
This may be linked to another problem I need an answer to.
I had 2011 C3D installed, uninstalled it, then installed 2012 C3D. Stand alone license.
Now the icons for all dwg files, the one that should show that ACAD is the application that opens it, does not show in windows explorer. See the attachment.
I have done the "file open with ... Always use the selected..." thing with no result. I have also used the repair function on the install disk with no result.
I have the student version of Inventor 2014 installed on my computer. My O/S is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I have installed and reinstalled Microsoft Visual Basics three times. But, I am still getting the error "VBA failed to initialize properly".The program was working fine for about a week with no errors reported. Now, every time I try to start a tutorial I get this error.

The automatic response was to download a fix for the language pack, but that didnt work. Standard AutoCAD 2011 works without any issues, same with ecotect.

In case of a string array, I would be doing MyStr[0] = "" and it works but how to do this w.r.t. AcadEntity array?
I've got a user that has his page setups setup correctly and set current, but when he goes to the publish command it only grabs the model space. even if he checks the "Initialize Layout" (and unchecks "Initialize Model") option in the context menu, it doesn't stick...
I have him rebooting now (we tried closing ACAD (and made sure the process had stopped) and then restarted ACAD and it still wasn't working)
I've recently started receiving the error message "Could not initialize Photoshop [CS] because there is not enough memory (RAM)" on a Mac with 4GB RAM. I've tried holding command + option + shift at startup to reset the preferences, but it does not seem to have fixed anything. What else can I try?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop 7 on Windows Vista. I just bought a new computer and installed Photoshop (which worked fine on my old computer running XP). It installs correctly but wen I launch it I get the error "Could not initialize Photoshop because the scratch disks are full." Then Photoshop immedietly shuts down.
My C drive has 1.3 TB free, my D drive has 145 GB free and my E drive has 5 GB free. I've tried defragmenting all the drives and deleting any temp files.
This message suddenly appeared when I tried to open Photoshop CS3 (Vista 64 bit) today together with advice to unlock the file using the 'properties' tab in windows explorer. Prior to today Photodshop was working fine and the only thing I've done since I last used it is to update Cammera Raw to 4.4 - reverting to to 4.3 makes no difference.
I can't see anything in Windows Explorer that does this. But ticking 'run this program as an administrator' in the 'compatibility' tab part resolves it - it allows the program to open but only after presenting me with a 'do you want this program to run?' dialog box each time it opens.
I get this error whenever I try and run Photoshop CS3.

I just upgraded to Windows 8 64 bit last night. I had been running Cs2 just fine on Windows 7 64 bit for a few years now.In fact I used it last week. Now after the upgrade is complete, I get this error message when I try to launch CS2:
Could not initialize photoshop because the file is locked. use the properties command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file.Of course, there is no mention of which file is locked.
I tried to start Photoshop 5.1 64bit today, and it shows the blue intro screen with the reading and loading, and then it goes to a popup error message that reads, "Could not initialize Photoshop because the file is empty." I can run the 32bit version fine, but I would prefer to use the 64bit version. I am running Windows 64bit Ultimate. I have been having issues here and there with CS5.5 on this computer. i have 2 NTFS partitions on one harddisk
first the primary scratchdisk was "startup"
then i changed primary scratchdisk to d:/ and secondary to c:/
After restart my problem occurd
Reinstalling Photoshop could not solve the problem, it kept the same error message
only after totally reinstalling windows XP prof. i could use the program again
For now i do not set any scratchdisks
My harddisk is ok with no bad sectors
I am running Photoshop 7 and everything has been going fine until a few days ago. I am a sys admin and suddenly my users are getting this error when they try to load PS 7.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working with Photoshop CS6 and I'm working with a lot of layers with Masks presently (I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning or not) and I'm trying to add text to my image but I keep getting an error message saying: "Could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from initializing." How do I fix this? I just had a problem where I had to re-install the software from scratch because Photoshop wouldn't open files or create any new files, but, like I said, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled it.

I had x1 Illustrator file open at the same time as I launched the Ps app. I had to close the .ai file and re-try opening Photoshop again. There are a lot of little glitches with CS6 that I'm encountering more & more of.
