I'm trying to export a C3D 2010 drawing to Autocad 2007 format, and it's failing with the following error: So what does that mean? After all, I'm EXPORTING TO AUTOCAD FORMAT, which I thought would convert things to "plain AutoCAD format".
I have created a map using some DTED files and now I need to use it in 3ds max, so I must export it in .fbx format but I'm not able to do this, because Autocad says to me that I must convert the map in 3D object. What I have to do to export the map in .fbx format??
I have to transfer my auto cad plans to Photoshop. Im trying to export each layer into eps format and then open in Photoshop. But some layers are not showing up... What should i do?
Resolve the problem with export to PLT format? Since one day my X5 starts export objects larger than they are to PLT. Ex. text which should be 200mm wide is in PLT 250mm.
I am trialing the DG&P of xara. I am creating embroidery files in another software. I need to import in .emf. Most of my clipart, etc that I use is jpeg or png. I am wanting to take those into a program, create the vector file, and import to the embroidery software so that I can manipulate/simplify how I need to to create the stitch out. So, when I am in xara and I bring the image in, I select all and choose export in the .emf format....I figured that out. But, when I bring it into the other software I have a blank page. So, I figure I am missing something. Is there a quick way to convert the outline I bring in (in png) to vectors so that it can export and be manipulated in the other software in .emf? or do I trace the file in xara as I would in the other software, have a rough sketch, and then export? Where is the best info on what to do? I am pretty good at following tutorials and lessons but before I buy I just want to make sure it does what I am wanting it to do.
I am trying to export a .max file as .sat and it locks up Studiomax. I am new to this (.sat) format and know virtually nothing about what I'm trying to do. My client wants a .sat or step file...that's all I know.
How do i export my 3d model to .igs format using 3ds max 2011. I used the export option to create an igs file but its giving me a file with .xlo file format. I need to import my model in ansys for analysis work but i couldnt make a igs file. The funny part is, even 3ds max cant import .xlo file after it was exported.
I am currently using Revit Architecture 2012 and am trying to export a project file in a .fbx format to start using Autodesk Showcase which I just downloaded a free trial for. For whatever reason, Revit won't let me export any file in a .fbx format. Instead of being able to click on that as an option, it's greyed out. Is there an update I need to download or an fbx plug-in I need to get to utilize the fbx exporting function??
PS: I've put myself in the 3D view which I know can be an issue of why the fbx export function is greyed out.
I have a few MOV format videos that I need to rotate and re-save with PS CS6. I've never tried video editing with Photoshop, and this must be the most basic of basic starts in my next career as a film producer. I assume I just go to Image > Image Rotation as one does with image files? Then when I export the video, and select QuickTime MOV format, the resulting file does not actually have any video in it -- only audio. And despite having no video apparently, the file size is huuuge.
I have QuickTime viewer installed, but do not have a licence for QuickTime full version. Is that it?
Shall I just export to mp4 and be done with it? I would prefer to be consistent... so that I have all MOV files (I won't have to rotate / edit all video files, only some).
I have a created a video using my Sony XE105 handycam in HD and edited it successfully using X2.
I can then export it to WMV format and view the file in superb quality in windows media player. However, when I try to export into FLV format, I get the message about converting and it sits at 0%. I have left it for over a half hour without any movement before deeming it as having "hung" and trying again.
I'd really like to export movies in FLV format rather than WMV?
I have been using Xara Designer Pro 7 for almost a month now and love it so far, but I cannot seem to export graphics in the PSD format. I never had this problem with Xara DP 6. When I go to export, I have tried it both ways, as "Selected Images" and "Entire Page" and all I get is a blank image.
I would really like the PSD export to work because I design web pages in Xara and then bring them into Photoshop Elements 9 or Photoshop CS5 or Fireworks CS5 to slice them up for html pages. This worked great in Xara Designer Pro 6.
I know this probably an issue for Xara support, but I figured I would ask here first because I might get a quicker response. Maybe I can doing something wrong? Do I need to do something with layers?
I m trying to use ivy generator. It supports obj format. I created a box in max. I exported to obj format. When i go to the ivy generator then the box is different. I tried normal. But its not working.
I'm on Illustrator CS5 and are trying to export my artwork to a PDF format in such a way as so others with illustrator cannot open the file and access its layers and pull out the artwork etc.
I click File, "Save a copy", choose PDF I thought that is what unchecking the "Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities" would do it, but when I uncheck it I still have access all the layers when I open the PDF.
Is there another setting I am missing etc? I've tried saving the artwork as a jpg, and doing print export to PDF but I just cant get the same crispness at the optimised file size like I was when doing "Save a copy".
Am I missing a setting or, do I need to do something else to the artwork before saving the PDF?
is it possible to add this features in the Book module of the Lightroom 4?
I understand that is possible to export in PDF file format, but sometime, in order to use online printing service, is better to have one JPG file for every page.
I think that is very simple to add this feature to te book module.
At my old job, when I exported sketches, it would automatically go to jpeg as jpeg was on top of the list. Now, I have to scroll through a lot of different formats looking for the jpeg format and of course, this takes up valuable time.
I make tech sheets in Illy at my job and need to export just about everything I do in jpeg format, for the benefit of others. I tried looking through the menus, but haven't found the answer yet.
I remember that there is something to set before doing a psd export from illustrator, but don't remember.Of course i activate the option "with layer" in the export window.Working with CS6.
I have to send a company a photo in RGB format - I can convert it from JPEG to RGB, but can not get it to export out of Photoshop Elemement 11 - Also I really am not sure what RGB is, perhaps I don't need to know - I got a file onto my desktop that I believe was saved as RGB, but can not remember how I did it? Also can I share from Photoshop Elements 11 to other sites such as Istock or FB?
I am currently using TIFF 8-bit LZW compression, About 10 seconds per photo. I forgot to set the RAW file size in my camera to S-RAW to make it just a bit bigget than the 1080P footage I will later output them to. I was wondering if there was a file format that was lossless but is quickest to export to from lightroom.?
