I am trying to use the Faces Editing drop-down box, and in my book it lists the options as Taper Faces, Move Faces, Copy Faces, Offset Faces, Delete Faces, Rotate Faces, Color Faces.
All it shows are Taper, Extrude and Offset.

Every time I use the drop down menu to select unit to save OR open a file, it freezes and then all the programbecomes not responding (have to force close from windows utility).
When selecting a sub menu from within a main drop down menu the arrow points to the right but the actual sub menu pops up on the left in most cases. I have only noticed this recently and wonder if I have inadvertently messed up a setting as in the past I cant recall this being so but I don't use the editor a lot so may be mistaken.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded from PSE 10 to 11. In 10 I used to drag People tags onto autodetected faces which would server to add the tag as well label the mark of the face (2 birds with one stone). In 11 when I attempt to drag and drop a People tag onto a marked face, the square and the "Who is this" disapears. The only way I can find to actually mark the face is by actually typing the name for each person. Definitely a more painful way of doing it versus drag and drop. Did Adobe drop this feature or is this a bug I can expect to be fixed in an upcoming update? Or is this problem that is just local to my machine?

I have lost the drop down menu at the top of the screen that should read: file/edit/view/insert/format/tools/draw/dimension/modify/window/help
how I can find it to get it back? I have reloaded my installation cd and it aint there.
Is there any way to edit these underlined letters "hotkeys" in the inventor drop down menus? Having to add lots of leader lines and such to multiple weld symbols get old. Or is there a way to make a key alias to do this? I have not been able to find where this is done in inventor. Ive done it many times in CADD.

I have box. After assign material it's still box. But after assign different material to some faces, box become 3d body and I can't simple look and change it's size in properties.
How to assign different materials to different faces and box still remain box.

i was wondering if it's possible to change the default precision of values in the drop down menu for linear parameters when using a block properties table from 4 digits to 0.
See attached file, when opening the dropdown menu, the centre-to-centre widths of the chair are displayed in a value with 4 digits "behind the comma" and i would like that to be 0.
I was working on a dynamic block and visibility states, but for uknown reason I don't see the visibility drop down on the block editor toolbar.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using photoshop cs4 since its release and yesterday the drop down menus at the top have started loading to the left instead of to the right. I have gone through recommended fixes from this forum and others and cannot fix the problem.
- I reset the program preferences.
- Changed the handedness in the Wacom preference file.
- My tablet pc input panel was disabled to remove flicks…so I cannot access it.
- My trial copy of PhotoshopCC is not experiencing the problem

My commands on my text drop down menu are invisible, some appear when I run cursor over them, some remain invisible. Same when I go to options, all text commands are invisible unless I run cursor over them. I have tried deleting my text menu and repopulating a new menu to no avail, same happens. I have tried a reinstall and a repair, neither worked.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI cannot seem to find out when and where it's ocuring. I took measurements of a large room and modeled it in Autocad 2014. The solids I used are rather simple, mostly just boxes with some boolean unions and substractions here and there. I then took pictures of every wall, perspective-corrected them, imported each of them to Autocad as material, assigned the real size to the picture material and applied those materials to the corresponding wall faces. Planar mapping proved to be adequate in all cases and mostly mapped correctly on the first go.
The project was completed and saved. To my horror most of the material mappings had just gone the next time I opened the project. It was just as if I had never applied any material mapping or texture to the faces.
After partially appliying the damned material mappings and materials (textures) again I tried to determine under what circumstances the mappings get lost. Its not allways the same walls. The bug seems to occur randomly on various geometry and at various times. Sometimes the mappings get lost after opening the project, sometimes the get lost on the fly when isolating (hiding) geometry. There is no way I can get the room to look as I want it to look as there will allways be some wall that has become default-grey again, randomly (either while working or after opening up the project again).
I really expect Autocad to be rock solid after so many program versions. Did I do something wrong? How would you go about applying textures of inividual walls to wall-faces? Or is Autocad just crap regarding heavy use of textures because that is not the average use-case?
i got Inventor recently, and i've been working on a model of a longboard just to teach myself how to use the tools in Inventor. right now i'm trying to color areas for the griptape pattern so i drew the 2D pattern and projected it onto the 3D model of the longboard. but when i tried to split the faces of the model along the projected pattern only a few of the projected lines split the faces. for other faces i kept getting these errors:
Create parting line failed Crane.ipt: Errors occurred during update Split11: Could not build this Split The attempted operation did not produce a meaningful result. Try with different inputs.

I was working on a project and went to change to a different font and all that was there are the last 6 or so that I used. When I go to the drop down menu It doesn't show any other fonts. I know there are a lot of fonts in the computer but cannot get them on the program.
