I have an object that gets animated for say 20 frames. I want to apply the Params out-of-range -> Loop to it. However, I only want it to loop frames 10-20. Is there a quick way to do this. I am almost certain I have done it before, but can't remember how.
I have a bear of a project where I have to match different fonts w/ different "logos", and being able to highlight the font, and then use the font menu and, maybe, the up/down arrow keys would make my life infinitely easier.
This works in InDesign.. and every other program on Earth... is there ANY way to do this in Illy CS4?
How to cycle through various (imported) presets/ effects in lightroom without adding them to the previous effect? In other words, I want to just keep trying various presets in developer mode but when I click on different effects, it should reset and apply current effect, instead of adding/ compounding over previous effect.
What I am doing now is Undoing the effect each time before trying next effect or preset.
I have an array of all the same block with a few attributes. All attributes need just slightly different data (like incrementing numbers). It is extremely tedious to select the block, enter the data, cancel the selection and then select the next block. Is there an easy way to select all the blocks up front and then modify them one at a time by "cycling through the selection"? I'm specifically looking for a key-command that will de-select the current block and select the next one so I can stay in my properties window.
It's also worth mentioning that I'm on LT and there aren't enough blocks to make ATTOUT/IN worth it (or possible).
I'm using Civil 3d 2010, and I insert a block with mult. inserting point, press the CTRL and cycle to the insert location I want, then I O Snap to the location on the drawing.
I use ctrl-rt-click (default) to get the o snap list and pick the osnap, however it is still in the cycle mode, so I can not get the osnap mode.
Is there a way to create a walk cycle for your model and have it follow a path instead of animating each step? It seems like an incredible waste of time to sit and try to animate every single step the model takes. Also, I want the steps to be persistent. I don't want some to be larger and some to be smaller. I feel like there should be a better way of getting my character across the screen, I just don't know how to do it.
I have a mocap cycle cleaned up and read to cycle, with and without translation, the cycle with translation is perfect because it avoids the sliding feet probelm.
Is there a way to give this cycle a path to follow so it can walk along this path and take curves and those things?
I'm looking around the net, but I don't seem to be able to find anything, the only thing i was able to think of is the path contraint, but, if i'm right, it won't respect the cycle translation, and i can use it without translation but it will be hard to avoid the sliding feet problem.
Is it possible to script the menu item Object/Path/Outline Stroke?I need to cycle through all the Path items in the document and convert them to Outlines.
How to switch on the ability to cycle through the command history with the keyboard's arrow keys. I was surprised because I have never known ACAD to not do this. It is the default behavior which makes me wonder how he caused this feature to switch off in the first place.
If there is a sysvar or perhaps his CUI is corrupt? We are all on 2013.
I have rigged a character and made it into a character set in which i have locked the scaling attribute , I have then saved this file. I have then referenced this file and and have done a walk cycle animation and saved this file. I have then realised that I needed the scaling attribute when I have added other parts of my scene. Is there a way to unlock the scaling attribute in my walk cycle animation file or will i have to go back and change it in the rigged file, create a new character set and do the walk cycle animation again?
I am trying to learn how to use colour range in PS 5.5.
I select the eyedropper & click on a spot inside the area I want to select.
The fuzziness bar in the dialog box is supposed to have a triangle to slide & a value box. Instead the fuzziness bar and the value box are grayed out. There is no triangle to slide. I am unable to set the fuzziness tolerance.
I was really excited to find that Max 2013 was able to import a range of CAD files, namely STEP.
Well, the good news is the import works well and the Body Objects look nice. The bad news is that there is no option at import time to specify course settings for the viewport display mesh. No problem I thought, I'll change them to "course" with the Body Utility and that should speed things up. Max crashed evertime I tried to do this, even with just 2 or 3 items selected.
Having given up with importing STEP, I tried the same assembly as a SAT file (about 100Mb). Importing SAT does give you the option to set the viewport model to a course setting (which is good) but only provides a marginal increase in speed. On the whole the model is unworkable. You can't select the component you want as the system will select some other part that you don't want and the lag is just unbelievable.
To put things into perspective I've used Max 2011 to import huge (1GB+) Formula One engine assemblies using nPower's Power Translators plugin. On the whole it worked well, I was able to work relatively fast and got the job done. While I understand that the Body Object is a subset of the nPower plugin, I think the implementation into Max 2013 has gone wrong somewhere.
My pain-free solution is to stick with Max 2011 until 2013 gets fixed, which is a shame as I really wanted to embrace the new version into my work.
I know how to get/set attribute within loop at block's AttributeCollection. But I'm wonder if I can set value for specified attribute without loop. Or I always have to iterate on each attribute in block's AttributeCollection?
I have use Photoshop Element for some time, but now I'm using PS7, in PS element you con make animation and then go to file>save for web>check Gif>check animate>check loop and explorer play the animation but in PS 7, I can't fine animation or loop to preview the animation
Is PhotoShop elements butter then PhotoShop 7? I hope not because I spent too much money on PS 7, and PS elements came with my new PC for free.
How can I explain to my wife the after I spend all that money on PhotoShop 7 I have to go back and reinstall ShotoShop Elements.
Is it possible to loop thru the artboards (with Illustrator CS5) and only work with the pageItems on the current iterated artboard?
For example, if I have 3 artboards, with 2 textFrames on each artboard. And I add the textFrames sporadically (I add a TextFrame with contents "Text 1" on artboard 1, then a textFrame with contents "Text 2" on artboard 3, then a textFrame with contents "Text 3" on artboard 1, etc).
Artboard 1: Text 1 Text 3
Artboard 2: Text 4 Text 6
Artboard 3: Text 5 Text 2
Is there a way to loop thru these artboards and get the textFrames tied to the appropariate artboard? So, on the first iteration of the loop, I'm looking at artboard 1 and only looking at "Text 1" and "Text 3", then on the the 2nd iteration I'd be working with artboard 2 and it's textFrames "Text 4" and "Text 6", and so on.
If I loop thru only the doc.textFrames, the order would be incorrect, with the way I added each textFrame. Instead of artboard order, they'd be in this order:
i'm trying to loop my composition (72 frames) containing a moving object (a walking chicken, refer to printscreen)
i followed tutorial here [URL] ........
In short, i applied Layer > Time > Enable Time Remapping to my newly created Comp 2. Two key frames were created. I moved to the last frame, and then 1 keyframe backwards and created a new keyframe. Then on the very last keyframe i set the time to 0 and then deleted the penultimate frame (which i had just created). And then added Property > LoopOut(Type="Cycle", numKeyframes = 0) to the layer i want to loop.
however, after applying LoopOut expression, i am no longer able to playback - when i pres Play to preview, the chicken stands still (meanwhile time indicator is moving continuously, indicating that playback is in action).
Thinking that i deleted wrong keyframe, i undid all changes and repeated all steps again but this time i deleted the very last frame and left the penultimate frame (and setting time to 0 ). It did not have any effect - chicken does not move, time indicator is moving/looping in the timeline.
I have a picture of some speakers with red wire. I'd like to select the red and put the wires on a new layer.
I go to select color range and set it to red and i see in the preview that the wires are selected. But the save option is greyed out in the dialog box.
well thats it I'm stuck. when i hit OK it says less than 50% pixels error??
Is there a way to change a range of colors to another. Let say I want to change a pic with different shades of red to blue. Which tool would do the trick?
I have a image that i need to convert to a set 16-color range... the range is: 209 209 209148 157 15723 19 1963 63 63155 42 38213 118 14452 72 2355 179 4481 48 26182 169 2436 48 14589 128 208122 47 188188 62 19937 109 140233 122 46
