Any way to make a the wireframe of an object "grow" or build onto screen through animation?
For example, I need to have the wireframe of a bridge look like it's drawing onto the screen as the bridge rotates.
I'm not a scripter. So I'm lacking the ability to create a script from scratch.
How its possible to make Wireframe with a 3d polyline object?is it Possible?

I am guessing maybe they are using some type of mask or something like that.
I am trying to build a spiral staircase and need to use spline to build the railings. Every time I try to end the spline by hitting enter the spline disappears. I am using 2014, and I have never had this problem before with previous versions.

Well I'm trying to convert an image into seperate layers with each individual color on it, in this case grey/white/red/black, and I cant seem to figure out how to do it...
I need to have each color on a seperate layer so I can screen print the image...does anyone have any ideas?
The resolution of my monitor is set to the recommended resolution of 1920 x 1080. The default text size of 100% is too small. One of the preset options is to set the text at 125%. That works find in Revit Architecture 2012. BUT, I need the text to be a tad larger. If I set the text to 130% with a custom text size, something weird happens in Revit. The "status" bar at the bottom of the editing screen distorts the text. Some other weird things happen as well. Is text size in Revit hardwired?

The eye is open, with eyelids above and below the iris, the upper covering the top of the iris somewhat. As the eyeball rotates, it should deform the eyelid, esp. the upper eyelid. What's the next way to make eyelids conform to the eyeball as it rotates, we can use cloth if necessary, but if there's an easier way, with constraints, lattices, etc. Like if there's a lattice on the eyelid whose control points get pushed away by the front of the eye, then fall back as it rotates away, or something..

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm using Premiere Pro CC on Windows 7. I previously was able to import and edit clips via exactly the same workflow - but now, not matter what clips I import, they all appear as the 'white screen'. The thumbnail is a frame of the video, but as soon as I mouse over, scrub, or try to play the clip, it turns totally white. Audio will play fine though.
I'm almost positive it has to do with using an AOC display that plugs in via USB. This is based on a similar issue I had using that display on a Mac and having part of a Blackmagic Design software UI not appear while using that screen.
I've tried lots of things, including updating the driver for my graphics card, from the manufacturer's site. I can try - especially a way to undo whatever was done when I plugged in that USB display (worked without manually installing any drivers).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a older graphics program called Picture Publisher. I used this for years until I eventually moved over to PS. The grow / shrink mask tool in PP is easy to use but I cannot figure out how to do this in PS. Take the letter B in the upper left corner. I can use the mask tool on the B and shrink it, leaving me with the outline of the B. I can shrink or grow the mask by indicating how many pixols to shrink or grow. For the life of me I can't seem to do this in PS. Presently I do it in PP then open the graphic in PS wher I can then use it. Is there a way to accomplish this in PS?

I would like the letter to be totally filled with its solid color... but instead, it just seemed to outline the letter, leaving white space between the new GROW line and the actual letter.

I have multiple pieces on animation elements on my site. I'd like the animations to play when the user has scrolled to that position on the page and not beforehand. Right now, page loads, user is at the top of the page and all animations load and start playing. By the time I scroll down, the animations have ended.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a few issues with my CS5 Photoshop - for some reason the other day, out of the blue, my Shift-F5 'Fill' shortcut started activating the 'Grow' command instead. I'd not altered any Photoshop settings recently (only loaded new actions a few days previously), so not sure why it happened.
I've tried resetting the shortcuts through Keyboard Shortcuts in the edit menu, but 'Fill' IS set to Shift-F5, with 'Grow' blank (no shortcut assisgned?).... and 'Fill' in the menu states Shift-F5 as the shortcut.
I've tried fixing Mac permissions, I've deleted the Ps 'Keyboard Shortcuts' file, I've deleted the Ps prefs file from Home > Library > Prefs. Weirdly, I expected a pref file to be in HD > Library > Prefs, but no Ps file there...? (but ID, AI etc all there?!). There is a "com.adobe.CSXS2Preferences" file - what does that relate to, as it doesn't look familiar?

I have created the pipe extruding a circle along a curve. I would like to know if there is any possibility in softimage to make the effect of appearing gradually from bottom to top like it is growing up and controlling in the frames that I want on the animation.
My Edit/Fill command (shift + F5) has suddenly turned into Grow. I've seen other people with this problem and the only solution I have seen up to now is to use (shift + delete) instead. That to me isn't a solution, it completely disrupts my workflow to try using a new key command that should be something else. I've also read about people deleting preferences, restarting, etc, and I've tried all of those things. I did have some issues with my Function keys because of something I had clicked in my finder preferences but I fixed that issue, and it seems that only Photoshop has lingering problems. And of course, my PSD keyboard shortcuts all look fine, nothing has changed there so something is overriding the keyboard shortcuts. Could it be something in my Photoshop preferences that I'm overlooking?

I don't recall seeing that behaviour before. I thought it was just supposed to select the extents of the faces..?

When I expode or burst them, the dims text and arrows grow larger than is required for the block and I cannot find any adjustment in the properties to bring them back to the correct size for the detail. Also the leaders lose their point and association with their text and become just a line.
Is there a command that will allow me to edit the block without loosing the current sizing and associations?
I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
I used to use MediaStudio Pro to create picture in picture especially where the picture starts small and grows to cover the entire background video clip.
I looked for and found a video filter which I thought would allow me to do the same. However after viewing the 'help' for the filter and trying just about everything I could think of I cannot achieve what I want to do if start with a video clip and then have another video clip appear (very small) in one area of the background video and then slowly grow larger to eventually cover the background video clip.
I can make the picture in picture appear and grow larger but it covers the entire background video clip with black effectively covering it no matter what size my picture in picture is. I looked for a chroma key to cover the black out but could not find it.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhat's up. long time member just a first time poster. i do a lot of photoshop and bryce work and was curious if anyone can tell me how to save the wireframe mode from bryce so i can blend it and the rendered version together. i want the look kind of like what renderosity.com used to look like with the hand fading from rendered into wireframe. i've tried looking online but i guess i haven't looked in the right place yet.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen working in wireframe mode in previous versions of max I was always able to select whatever object I wanted by clicking on one of its edges, regardless of whether it was behind any other objects. Now in the latest version max appears to be selecting objects closest to the view (as if I were in shaded/perspective) and it's driving me absolutely mental as making selections is now very slow and arduous.
I haven't yet managed to find whether or not this is a glitch, or a change, and if it is a change whether it can be turned back to how it was before?
