3ds Max :: Asset Tracking Doesn't Log In
May 5, 2011I'm using Windows 7 Professional and the Log in option on Asset Tracking its disabled. Its disabled for Vault and Perforce as well.

AutoCad 2D :: Poplar Tracking Doesn't Seem To Be Working
Sep 18, 2013I have a drafter that is using AutoCAD LT 2013. When they are drafting it acts like the Snap is on and Poplar tracking does not seem to be working. They do not have Snap on and they are using Polar tracking.
Have looked at all the setting that I can think of and compaired it to my AutoCAD 2009, full version. Our setting are identical. We both have Windows 7. I have mine set to look like XP, they have theirs with a custom looking display.

Oct 10, 2013I made a simple file with a retangular box in a new layer, which I filled with a color. I then added an image in another layer. I labeled the image layer as a image.png.
The image was transferred as an asset to Reflow, but not the retangular box.
I have tried all kinds of shapes, and none of them are transferred to Reflow.
What am I doing wrong?

Jul 15, 2013I created a host of materials with a certain appearance etc and saved them as a library. When I open my Inventor 2013 this morning I seemed to have lost my appearances. It says my materials are missing the Appearance asset - see attached screenshot.

Revit :: Deleting Assets From Asset Browser?
Oct 19, 2012I'm updating our Revit template in Revit Structure 2013. When I look into the Asset Browser in the unreferenced library there are a lot of Assets wich are incremented [(1), (2), (3),...]. I don't need these Assets in my template, but I can't remove them because the unreferenced folder is locked. How can I delete these Assets?

Feb 3, 2012I have several art assets that I have already rigged, skinned, and animated. Unfortunately, the objects have to be re-sized.
There isn't a simple way to simply scale the rigg to match the new size, because then the transforms are incorrect, and the scale on the bones are no longer at 100%. Normally it wouldn't matter, but these objects need to go into a game engine, so it has to be at 100%
No, simply re-sizing the rigg and hoping to just 'reset scale' will not work either.
Save/Load animation will inherit the pivot points of the original animation and paste them onto the re-sized objects, so that does not work either.
Is there a way to transfer a rigg and save it's animation when an object gets re-sized? I'd figure that Autodesk would have made some kind of feature for this scenario, since in game production things will inevitably be scaled at some point.
It's easy to scale everything to it's new size... the problem is... how do I reset it's transforms without the rigg going bonkers?
How do I take the original animations and re-apply them to the newly scaled down version?
Maya :: Asset Node Publishing As Selection Transform?

-transform A with published attributes tx, ty and tz,
-transform B with published attributes rx, ry and rz, and
-transform C with no published attributes (nurbs sphere used for selection).
Is it possible to make it so that when the user clicks on the nurbs sphere, the actual asset node gets selected instead of the sphere? I seem unable to set it as the selection transform.

Feb 27, 2014I have a Revit file with over 1,000 materials and associated appearance assets. It was created in a previous version of Revit before library support. What I want to do is create libraries from them. However, the only instructions to add them one at a time using dragging and dropping. That will take me days to do. Is there a way to simply create an asset or material library out of multiple materials from a project file at one time without having to individually select them?

Aug 12, 2011when drawing lines or moving something, what looks like a tracking point will pop up but then won't go away, it's not selectable, and regen won't get rid of it. a save and reopen is the only way it goes away.
it only does this in 2 of the user log in names, and it's worse in the other one. it puts the x everywhere you click. here's a screen capture of what's going on. the brown x over in the upper right is the trouble. it used to be on one of the lines, but on a regen moved to there. this was just random lines and moving the mouse around to acquire snap and tracking points.

Photoshop :: When Edit Text Tracking Changes
May 25, 2013When I edit paragraph text the Tracking appears to change. However, the actual Tracking setting in the Character pallet does not change. In other words, spacing between letters gets reduced but none of the actual Character settings change.
This issue happens when I click in a paragraph to edit the text, or when changing the text color via the Character panel. After I'm done editing the text, if I double click the type layer to select the entire block of text the spacing returns to normal.

1. I find stock images (let's say X and Y) on the internet. Save them in a folder.
2. I use the saved stock images in an ad or as a design element in my design piece. I save out this document as a file (let's say Z).
Here is what I am trying to accomplish:
1. Automatically read the metadata or xmp data (or even tag the file with custom data on load) for images X and Y.
2. When X and Y are used in my design and saved out in Z, I want to be able to open Z and read the tagged data and be able to identify the data from X and Y in Z.
In simple words what I am trying to do is, when I use multiple image sources in a design piece, I want to be able to open my final design file and track the source files I used, so I can go back to my archive and find them without wasting my time hunting through multiple folders and hard drives.

Feb 16, 2012I have a 10 sec clip that I want to track. It's a girl driving on her bike a long a street. The camera is always parallel to her, so that the scene behind her keeps on changing. How can I track such a shot? I know, that if I want to track something going off screen, I have to jump to the last frame and adjust the tracker, but this clip is just too long, to just place the tracker at the very last frame (almost randomly).
