When I choose NEW from the File menu, a short list of templates appeared.
I have created more templates than shows in that list.
How can I have more of them show in the drop-down list?
Or add a folder to that list to access the extras?
Suddenly when I do a File>Export and try changing the "save as" type to PDF, it's missing from the list of file extensions. I recall having this option earlier this year and have exported hundreds of files to PDF. Now it's gone. Same installation of Xara. See the attached screenshot for proof!
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I use File > Open or Place Component the Windows file browser opens in List mode which means that I have to use the horizontal scroll bar to browse the directory. I would like it to open in Detail mode [List and Detail are some of the view choices under the View Menu of the Windows file browser window] allowing me to browse with the vertical scroll bar. -- I think it's ergonomically eaisier.
I can make the change from the View Menu but it doesn't hold. I have checked to see that Windows 2000 is set for Details when using Windows Explorer.
Are there any settings in Inventor to force Detail mode?
What programs are available to create dvd menu templates to be used in VS X4? Right now I'm using the TBYB version but if I were to purchase I would like to be able to create and adding my own templates since there don't appear to be very many that come with the program, only a couple that I can see anyways.
I like the fact that I can burn video files and menus to disc within VS but the current selection of menus makes this feature mostly useless so I'm wondering how I could add more.
Is it possible to import menu templates from Videostudio 11 to the latest Pro X4. I am trying to to keep all my holiday movies with the same template and can find the files in VS 11 but not sure if I can import and which file I would import it into.

When I upgraded to X3, I had some "My Favorites" DVD menu templates in VS10+ which I managed to transfer to Movie Factory SE by moving some files (*.ufo?) from some VS10 directory to somewhere in Movie Factory. It's too long ago -- can't remember the details.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the burn stage, after picking a menu template, I cannot adjust the volume of the music for the template. I enter the preview screen and adjust the volume there, using the slider. When I preview the video the volume is where I set it. But when I burn the project the music is back to it's original level, which is very loud. I can select no music, and this works but i can't adjust the volume.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently update my Corel VS from X3 to X5. As in X3 with Movie Factorey 7SE there only seems to be very limited DVD or Blu ray menu templates. I only have about eight possible fairly basic looking menus in either the MF7SE or X5 version of software.
Some SV tutorials I have been watching lately seem to have quite a good selection of menu templates, particularly those with thumbnails, via the drop selection menu allowing very shmic professional looking menus in VS X5. As my primary reason for upgrading was to improve the quality of the disc creation process and menus, how / where I can get additional disk menu templates for creating Blu Rays and any tutorials for menu creation techniques.
Is there an easy way (copy-paste) to transfer the DVD menu templates from DVD MovieFactory 7 to VideoStudio X5 Pro?

I cannot use them both in templates due to Style conflict and should alter the Part List table manually. Is it possible to bypass this somehow?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased Designer Pro 9 about a month ago. I have tried about 30 times, no kidding, to change the US Letter template from Arial 10 to Verdana 12. It happened again this morning and I've decided to finally come to the forum and find out what's going on.
Here's what happens: I open US Letter and make the changes, then choose Save Template. When I reopen it, it's still Arial 10. Makes no difference if I choose "Use as default template" or not. I even tried saving it as a template with a different name, Verdana 12, but it still opens as Arial 10.
As a test, I opened Designer 6, chose New, US Letter, and changed the font to Brussels 12. I then selected Save Template, saved it as Brussels 12, and closed out. Then I chose File/New/Brussels 12. It opened as a letter template with Brussels 12 point. That's the procedure I used years ago to change US Letter to Verdana 12 in Designer 6, and so the Save Template function still works in that version.
Because nothing I've tried seems to work, I am wondering whether any template I create will be saved in 9.
How to I simplify the list of file types in the Save-As file type list? I use less than six file types. I have no need for most of these. It would be nice to have my top 5 and then the ability to go off-menu if needed for others.

we have just upgraded from Inv 2011 to 2013. I am trying to create the drawing templates in 2013 by using the blank 2013 template and then copying our border from 2011 onto it. This works a treat apart from 1 thing.
The i properties do not get copied over as well so the sheet is blank from drawing number, title and the custom properties etc.

All other programs on the computer are a good size, it seems that this one is the odd one out. I don't want to change the screen resolution generally.
The fonts on the menu (File, Edit etc) are way too small in comparison with other programs on my desktop. Is there a way to enlarge them? Adjusting the screen resolution is not an option. I have noticed this with previous version of Xara that I have used. How to do this if it is not in the program settings?

The functionality for extracting "WorkspaceRoot.cui" from .cuix requires copying the .cuix to .zip so that it can be accessed as a Windows compressed (zipped) folder which the Windows object "Shell.Application" provides.
