Feb 2, 2012I have a 12 page brochure which I now need to output to a pdf. I've done similar procedures in the past. But this time I get an error - PDFNET Error: , line 0, bad allocation.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Profile Creation Error After Updating To 2013-SP2
Sep 13, 2013The company I work for recently updated a few of our computers with the SP2 for Civil 3D 2013. After this update, every time I create a surface profile, things get all messed up. Like I have done dozens of times before, I create the profile then open the profile creation tools. I am using the draw tangents with curves tool and as soon as I click my first tangent point, it shows up about an inch over to the left. I have struggled through and used the grips to edit after the fact but this used to be a VERY easy task. FYI my snap isn't on or anything goofy like that and when opened on a computer without the service pack, it works as it should.

Feb 10, 2013I have a xara file with lots of images.The saved xara file is about 45Mb.If I try and export this as PDF with 300dpi or 600dpi, I get an error that says 'File could not be saved'
Is Designer Pro X not capable of handling this size of file?
I would imagine that there are users out there who are dealing with very large images and probably much larger file sizes.Is it simply that the dpi I am choosing, is the cause?

Sep 16, 2011When I try to run Xara Designer Pro 7 I get a window popup that tell me "The program could not be started. It's possible that the installation folder is damaged." with the error code: -6
No matter what I try I get that error. I tried with a new doawnloaded file, with the file from the CD, after to have removed files on the Intel SSD or hard drives, and keys in the registry (but maybe i missed some!). I also tried with or without system protections/firewall/antivirus as well with or without administrator rights.
My system is Windows 7 64 bits with Xara designer pro 7.1.1.
Xara :: Error Message When Logging In
Nov 17, 2012I have been getting the following message whenever I log into my XaraXtreme Pro5: Internal Program Error 1383.k.Ob.ee. I have tried logging in as administrator and still got the same message although it didn't seem to bother the operation of the program. I have tried uninstall and reinstall and it would clear it up for awhile but then it would start back up again with that same message and sometimes it would also appear when I tried launching one of the sub-routines such as drawing objects (rectangles, circles, etc.).

Feb 25, 2013I've just tried to export a page as a pdf for the first time since upgrading to windows 8 and I'm getting a strange problem. In the image I have a text string which has a bevel, contour and drop shadow. When this exports it is surrounded by a black box. This also happens in another area with 2 circles both with shadows and again this is surrounded by the black boxes. I had previously exported an identical poster from designer pro X on windows XP without a problem.
So far I have tried exporting it at different dpi settings and in pdf 1.4 to 1.8 but not pdf/X yet.

Jul 16, 2013I am getting Error Code -6 with both the 64 and 32 bit installers. They install correctly but fail when I run Xara. I uninstalled and used CCcleaner in the middle, and rebooted, and deleted the folder in programdata. I am using Windows 8, Norton IS 2013. XD Pro is running fine.

Oct 14, 2013I have the latest version of Photo and Graphic Designer 9, and I have two .eps files that I cannot open because when I try to open them directly or import I get an error message that says that there is an error detected in the EPS file at line ####. These are files that I purchased and downloaded, and presumably they should not have errors. I don't have other software that is meant to open EPS files, so I cannot verify personally, but I do have reason to assume they are valid files. Feb 26, 2012On start-up of Designer7 I now get the error message "Unable to store information on your local hard disk. The disk may be full, or read-only. Ok" as pretty well the last thing in the start-up process. On pressing Ok, the dialog clears and the program will run normally. Opening and saving files works just fine.
My discs (where the program is stored, where my user profile is stored, where the drawings are saved and when the temp files and Windows swap file arel orated ) have ample space and are not RO. I also ran a disc check and they're not corrupted or damaged.
No malware seems to be present (checked with a couple of different programs) but the only thing that's different is that we had a power cut while Xara was running. Since then, it keeps giving me this message.
I've just updated to the latest version and accepted the default settings and it still gives me the message.
Windows Vista 32 with Admin privileges.

Jun 16, 2008I'm running Photoshop Elements 5.0. Everything was working fine til this mornin. I've had the program for about a year now. When I tried to open it this morning I got this error message that popped up.
It says:
Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.
I've tried repairing the program. That didn't work. Restarted my computer. That didn't work. Uninstalled the program and tried opening it again. That didn't work. I'm at a loss! I really need to get into my program b/c my work is there. I tried opening some of my files (they are located in my Pictures folder) and they pop up with the same message.

Apr 23, 2012I am on a 30 day trial of Videostudio pro X5, I am trying to create a simple menu via "nuts & bolts" like I could about 5 yrs ago on DVD-LAB. I do not care for the "wizard" approach....why, because you don't get exposed as to what is going on under the hood. Presently i don't care for transitions, motions, background music and alot of the other fluff work. This can all come later!
I know there are lots of tutorials for trans coding source video from one format to another. In a nutshell, I want to render to DVD, 3 Television episodes. One menu with 3 selections, play selected episode til end, return to menu and wait. I want to be able to pick my font type & Font size and and episode title, if I had more episodes a "More" selection link to a 2nd page menu from there a "previous" button to go back to 1st page.

Aug 12, 2004I can't seem to find the restore adobe defaults magic button. Right now I right click on all of my tools, and it doesn't give me any options besides what is already there in the tools pallet. For instance I am stuck with the gradient tool, and the paint bucket doesn't show up. I'll read some more, but I'm not sure what the heck I did, or it's a glitch.....
