When I try to open my Xara Photo and Graphic Designer 6 software, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error due to "abnormal program termination"
I don't recall the program shutting down abnormally. Do I need to reload the software?
Fixed the text problem and now I have a Run time error where program just shuts down. Whats this all about? I have yet to get anything done....

I have been getting the following message whenever I log into my XaraXtreme Pro5: Internal Program Error 1383.k.Ob.ee. I have tried logging in as administrator and still got the same message although it didn't seem to bother the operation of the program. I have tried uninstall and reinstall and it would clear it up for awhile but then it would start back up again with that same message and sometimes it would also appear when I tried launching one of the sub-routines such as drawing objects (rectangles, circles, etc.).

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have the latest version of Photo and Graphic Designer 9, and I have two .eps files that I cannot open because when I try to open them directly or import I get an error message that says that there is an error detected in the EPS file at line ####. These are files that I purchased and downloaded, and presumably they should not have errors. I don't have other software that is meant to open EPS files, so I cannot verify personally, but I do have reason to assume they are valid files. I saw this post that mentioned the same type of problem -

When opening cs4 I get the error message that "Photoshop has closed unexpectedly, click ignore or reopen".
View 14 Replies View RelatedI've been running Photoshop CS2 since it came out and never had any real problems. Then the other night I loaded approx 20 custom shape files that had about 10 shapes each from ActionFx. I played with them for a while and everything was working fine. Then I shut my computer down that night. The next morning I tried to open Photoshop and got the following message "could not complete your request because there is not enough memory (RAM). I've tried everything I can think of to fix this so I'm pretty desperate for help.
Finally, I resorted to uninstalling just the Photoshop component of CS2. Then I defragged and reinstalled. When that didn't work I uninstalled all of CS2 including my preferences. Defragged again and then reinstalled. All of the other components open and work (Illustrator, GoLive, InDesign, etc.) but Photoshop is still a no go  Something I found really strange is that while the error message is up on the screen I can still see all my layer styles and actions (even though I've uninstalled everything twice now).
Of course, as soon as I click ok on the error message everything closes and Windows says "Adobe Photoshop CS2 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the problem and notify you if a solution is available." Needless to say no solution is ever offered.

I downloaded the Photoshop CS6 trial verion yesterday and it worked great for afew hours, but I closed it and now every time I try and open it there's an error message "Adobe Photoshop CS6 hs encountered a problem and needs to close" what could have cause this and how do I fix it? View 1 Replies View RelatedCS5 has suddenly fallen over with the following error message when trying to open a raw file (.CR2 / 5DII), which it could open previously:
"Could not complete request because of a problem with the file-format module interface".
When I double click an AI file to open it, I get this message: "Can't open the illustration. There is not enough room for the window, increase document area and try again". This error started happening about a week or two ago. Although it is inconvenient to have to go to File>Open and then locate the file to open it since I am used to doing it the other way at least it is a way to open the AI file. I just discoved that if I double click a graphic in a Adobe Acrobat Pro using the Edit Object I get the same error message. This is a problem.I have checked previous discussions about this and tried things like unchecking the "open as tab" option in the preferences but that does not work.

I'm using Ulead VideoStudio 11+. The 'vsp' file is too long...One hour fourteen minutes. I made a 'Part 1' and cut the vsp to forty-five minutes and still received the same error message.
I cut the 'vsp' to one minute thirty seconds and it would "Create a Video File'. I've never had this problem before.
It seems with Ulead VideoStudio 11+ whenever I have a problem like this I can resolve it, by backing up all the files, then removing the program, thoroughly clean the hard drive and re-install 11+.
I very frequently get the above message, "Oject was open for Read". Its to do with annotative text objects which I just recently started using. When I get the message the piece of text I am trying to make changes to is frozen, cant delet it or anything?

I use command SSautoopen, set to 1 but doesn't alway work. Sometimes if I close AutoCad and reopen it I can got to drop down menu and click on .dst extension and it will open but if I close out of it it won't open again unless I restart AutoCAD. I thought I used a command from the Express Tool menu but can't find it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't seem to be able to open space between letters in text more than two letters at a time. I can't believe it's supposed to work like this, but selecting all characters in a string of text greys out the kerning option completely.
It only allows me to kern between two letters at a time. Click, kern, click, kern. Inconvenience like this is not often encountered in Xara!

the default setting is 1920 - far too low for me
ok it can be supressed on a session basis, but the number of clicks to acheive anything keeps creeping up and I'd rather not see it at all - AFAIK there is no way to suppress it permanently, but the default setting can be increased in the registry
I have my setting at 8000
the registry key is 'ImportSize' in Options > Filters [ verified in designer pro X]
changing registry settings is only for those who know what they are doing and who backup first
