Xara :: Matching Hue On Photos?

Dec 10, 2011

Can photos with mismatched hues be corrected with P&GD6? Putting together a 'family photo' but family members are far-flung, so can't be in one place, so I have received photos of everyone. I want to trim and combine photos into one picture, but skin tones do not match. They were take under varying light conditions. (clothing colors aren't important)

Xara :: Matching Colors Between Applications?

Jan 1, 2014

I'm trying to match the background color in Xara Photo Designer to the background color in a Filemaker Pro layout. When I bring up the color picker in Filemaker, I get a generic Windows screen with colors expressed in raw numbers, not percentages, but Photo Designer appears to use only percentages, no matter which color model I use. How do I convert Windows integers to Xara percentages?

Photoshop :: Matching Tone Or Hue From Two Very Different Photos

Oct 21, 2013

I was asked to take the group photo, cut out the black girl, and insert the young man.  See all images below and my results.  the only thing I'm not happy with is the young man was better lit than the group one.  I was playing around with the controls of the young man to bring his tone more in line with the group (hue; saturation; color levels; etc.) and I just could not figure it out.

what I can do to get the young man to match up tone wise with the group?  Or vice versa, even?

Photoshop :: Color Matching Similar Photos

Apr 27, 2005

I used the FAQ section but nothing seemed to come up.

Basically I have 3 digital photos that are part of a panorama. After I load them into PS, there is a slight color imbalance between each of them, eg the sky in one is a bit more yellow looking than one of the others. So the question is, is there an easy way to select a photo and "color balance" it to match another, similar, image?

I'm using PS v7. I've heard that CS has Image-Adjustments-Match Color.

Paint.NET :: Color Matching / Adjusting Between Photos?

Nov 14, 2011

I am trying to adjust the color levels between two photos such that a certain object in both photos has the same color in both images. I'll try and explain more with an example...

I've got two images taken under similar lighting conditions with the same camera and settings that came out with slightly different colors. There is a reference object in each photo that should match (in this case, a grey square of a paint sample). I'd like to adjust the color of the square in photo 2 so that it matches the square in photo 1, with the adjustments applied to the entirety of photo 2.

Xara :: How To Wrap Text Around Photos

Apr 26, 2013

I'm very new to Xara Web Design (I have version 9). I'm trying to wrap the text around my photos. The 'help' file advises to repel text under and/or repel and anchor. I have tried both options and my photo just lands in the middle of the text. The tutorial just says to use the 'select' arrow and move the photo around and the text will form around it. No go....what am I doing wrong????

Xara :: Importing JPEG Photos - Colours

importing photos into Xara 7 - the photos have a "green" sheen to them - I've only noticed as I've been using xara to print out some photos for a friend who's printer died. he uses powerpoint to print his and the difference between the two is really marked! i'm assuming it's due to CMYK/RGB differences (ppt is RGB) but I can't for the life me see where I can alter the Xara settings so the photos come in as per ppt.

Photoshop :: Color Matching To 100%

Nov 26, 2012

Let's say I have two pictures. The first one is a RAW file and the second is the same file, but a flat PSD with some color and contrast moves done to it.

What I want to do is to (of course start with processing the RAW file so I have a PSD/tiff) and then I would like to match the colors to 100%.

Usually I would do this by eye, but I would like to find out if there's any quicker way to do it? I started to look in to the color sampler tool to get the different values.

Preferably I would also like to have all these color and contrast moves in layers if possible. So that I can adjust them if I want.

---------------------------------

The second question is basically the same but this time the reference photo is a different picture.

Photoshop :: Matching Colors

i'm into photoshopping cars and i've got a rough idea on how to stitch bits and pieces of other cars together nicely, the problem is i still haven't a clue on how to match the colours of different cars to my target car (i.e. my car is blue but the bumper of another car is green, so how do i get that green to match my car's blue?)

i just really want to know how to get this done cause previously i was using the luminance thinggy and found it to work for SOME colours but it didn't look good.

Photoshop :: Colour Matching!

Feb 27, 2009

Im working on a series of images from a photoshoot.

I am having massive problems with getting the background of each image to match with one another. Each image seems to have a slightly different shade background, so basically they all look inconsistent together.

Is there anything i could do which would easily match the background from the different images together?

Using curves doesnt really help and when i do get it right (slightly similar), skin tones are then off.

The photos are done in a studio and evenly lit, the backgrounds are pale blue!

Photoshop :: Color Matching

Feb 27, 2004

I have been working on a gag project that involves placing different co-worker heads on different bodies. However, I have been having some difficulty matching the skin tones. I thought it would simply be a matter of using the eye-dropper tool, getting some average values on the face and body, then using an adjustment layer grouped to the face layer to adjust the color.

However, my results are often not even close. Is there a particular way I'm supposed to be adjusting the color?

Photoshop :: Lightroom Matching

Oct 18, 2008

1)When I view the same raw file with both Lightroom 2 & Photoshop CS3 the PS version is darker with a slight colour shift. All metadata synchronised & ACR 4.5

2) When I export a photo (from LR)as TIFF (with profile) this same photo viewed on both PS and LR shows the same difference as 1 above. When same photo viewed with ADC pro, result matches LR not PS.

3) When I print photo (as TIFF above) with PS & LR the prints from both match the LR display and not PS's

I use a calibrated display.

What is the problem here anyone? Does PS use display profile differently from LR? which is correct?

Photoshop :: Color Matching

Jun 8, 2006

I travel around the country and use Photoshop for various projects. I then SAVE AS a TIFF file to my flash drive and take the flash drive to an office superstore (OfficeMax, Staples, Kinkos,etc.) to print on their color printers. I run into a variety of printers, but mostly Xerox DocuColor 250's or Docucolor 12's.

How can I set my Photoshop so that the colors that print on these Docucolor printers are closer to what I see on my screen? I'm already creating the documents in 300DPI, CYMK-8 mode to be as close to the printer as possible.

3ds Max :: Camera Matching An Image

Nov 25, 2011

I have a still image of a view looking up at a complicated building (no ground in shot). There are lots of square features so I know where the right angles are but I have absolutely no information on any distances/dimensions at all and no info on the camera (focal length etc…).

I can get close by eyeballing it in 3D Max, tweaking cam position and focal length and proxy geometry but I’m sure there is a way to do this more automatically in Matchmover (which now ships with Max).

In Matchmover 2011 I created 4 track points on my image in 2D mode, 1 on a vertical corner as the origin, 1 directly above as Z, and 2 either side of the origin using the mortar lines to keep them level (all are as far away from each other as possible to increase track accuracy). I then make a new coordinate system and snap the origin, then Z and finally the X,Y nodes to the corresponding track points.

The last node I snap whichever one it happens to be, wont snap like the others. It just pings back.When I “solve for camera” it complains that it needs at least 2 images with 7 points in common or 4 points with known 3D coordinates.

There is visible lens distortion and I think this needs correcting somehow, other than the distortion parameter for the camera but this feels like stabbing in the dark as I have no way to know what distortion to apply.
