View 3 RepliesWe import an MP4 file into VideoStudio Pro X3 and simply add a title and do minor editing. We then want to render back out as an MP4 file.
The problem we're having is the export file is HUGE. Even when exported as a iPad 640 file (which I believe reduces everything to 16 bit) the file is usually about 300% larger than the original. Our originals are typically 300 megs or so and the out put file from VideoStudio is about 1 gig.
Video studio has an export option "save as first video clip" for mpeg files. Don't see that for wmv files. Is there a way to save an edited wmv file using the original files properties without doing a custom setup? Windows Movie Maker seems to do this but it's a pain to use.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI´m trying to edit some gopro videos in X4 (i already got the fix so i can import them ). The problem is to save the final video. The original videos are 1280x720 and i would like to keep the same quality and frame size but i cannot seem to find any option that would do and if i choose "same setings as first video clip" it just crashes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo like many new videographers is am shooting with the 5d markII which obviously shoots in HD.
However i cant seem to export my HD file out of VideoStudio.
When i drag the clip onto the timeline and right click on the clip and go to properties it says it is in 1920x1080. However when i go to create a video file ans click same as video settings it exports it to 720x480 at 29.97 frames per second. And the video was shot at 24fps.
So..
a) i don't understand why it is exporting it to totally different specs that what the project really is?
b) how to i export to an mpeg file that is 1920x1080 from VideoStudio.
Just upgraded to X6 last week to start to edit a short movie that I am working with my students. Since is our first short with a lot of takes (about 74 takes in 7 scenes) and we had a lot of problems shooting because take more time them we thought! Well, now I am editing it but I need to export the edited clips (takes) in the time line to add special effects in HitFilm, so theres a way to export all those clips as MP4 or any format in a batch?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have ProX3 and am trying to create .mov PhotoJPEG video clips. I'm trying to decrease the compression quality since I'm uploading these clips to stock video footage websites. However, when I go to export the video, under the Compression screen the Quality area is grayed out at 100% and won't let me move the tab over to decrease it. How to change it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm just trying out the VSX3 trial and have some problems exporting.
-Exporting crashed in Blueray/AVCHD, I disabled the HW acceleration on encoder and it seems to work (slow offcourse). I'm using a GTX460 and I saw the solution here
-When I try to make my own export profile I can see only one codec "Ulead Mpeg Now Encoder" limited to 720x576 ...
Is that last problem due to the trial version ? I installed all the last patches and now in version 13.6.2.69. I'm using the french interface but that shouldn't be a problem I suppose ?
PS : The editing features are very intuitive and fast I like it ! But without a good export it's useless
one question: is it possible in VS X4 export a video together with a transparent alpha channel (as, for example, a result of a chroma key) ?
View 6 Replies View Relatedwhat is the best format to use for my finished video project. The video format is currently MP4. I have imported the video to add and edit the audio and video portions of these videos. I would now like to export the finished project so that I can both embed the videos with controller on my website as well as put them in a zip file for potential clients so that the can download the set of videos then play them back with controller included with video. I would also like the format that I use to prevent user edits or tampering. If so what format is the best to use for the requirements presented?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI cannot find a way to keep the native resolution when exporting it to this size, even using the same as project settings, it makes it 720x480, when i look at the file when clicking properties it says uncompressed 1920x1080, how do i export it as such just a little more compressed?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm exporting a CorelDrawX5 file as an EPS so it can be opened in Router VCarve software. All the lines of the artwork in the CDR file show up as solid lines before being exported.
After being opened in the Router software as an EPS, the lined artwork shows up in pieces. I've never had this issue before with the Vcarve software or Corel, but I even tried rebuilding the files from scratch, and it still happened so I'm thinking its a corel issue.Â
I am using corel x6 and out putting to laser engraver/cutter, router and water jet. For laser engraving in particular i am have trouble getting a reasonable image. It ends up being pixulated. An it is odd as some times i am engraving one inch square area and some times 2 feet square. The relationship between DPI and size seems to be broken and i can not figure out why. I am normally working with vectors but some times i need to engrave with a bit map. So i will export the vector to a bit map then import the bitmap into a new document and output to the laser. I output to the laser directly from with in corel 13. It is when i import into corel that i can see that the bitmap is pixulated. if I export at 1200 dpi it is better but not good enough. For an 11 inch square out put i think it was a 43 mb file. [URL]....

View 7 Replies View RelatedJust a quick question, I'm wondering if there is a fix in 3ds max (64) 2011 regarding exporting .mov files. We are in the FIRST Robotics competition and the Autodesk 3D Animation Contest requires the final movie to be in .mov format.
I can always export individual frames and composite the work in Premiere, perhaps a better process in the end; regardless I would love to hear of how the problem will be solved with Apple (just a guess) down the road
I recently tried exporting a 180 mb .skp file into 3ds max Design 2012. I can actually access the file, and no errors appear when I use the import command. However, I encountered difficulties in the actual import, as the status bar simply does not move. It doesn't show that it's reading the file, or even started importing, and my system is still running smoothly, even cancelling import doesn't lag. My concern is that it simply won't work with a large file. Is there a size limit to what you can import, or am I doing something wrong? Converting the scene to .3ds in sketchup takes too long.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a plugin that involves exporting a dwg to a wmf.
-Initial thoughts were that this functionality might be exposed through the .NET API and I would just be able to call it directly, passing various information, such as a Selection Set. Correct me if I am wrong, but I can't find anything in the API that provides this functionality.
-Next thought was to call the "WMFOUT" command using the SendStringToExecute() function. This also won't seem to work perfectly as it executes after the .NET command is finished and the user will have to specify a filename and select objects to export. (Preferably those last steps would be automated by the plugin)
I have a model that appears to be too complex for exporting into AGI32 for lighting. I'm pretty sure I have seen several models exported from AutoCAD into AGI and rendered with lighting very successfully.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI built my resume in Photoshop and typically I've been exporting to a PDF and then handling link creation within Adobe Acrobat itself. I'm wondering if there's a way to streamline this process such that links can be created within Photoshop and exported directly into the PDF file. This would save me the hassle of recreating links in Acrobat every time I modified the resume in Photoshop.
Â
I've read about a Rich Content PDF extension/extra that is typically located in the Extras folder. I was able to successfully locate it and have Photoshop use it, but I don't know how to get links to actually be recognized by this plugin. My original hypothesis was to use slices (designating a region as a slice and then assigning it a link), but the Rich Content PDF export option did not recognize links through slices. Is there another way to do this or another way to create links in Photoshop such that it can be exported to a PDF (either through this plugin or otherwise)?
before the latest updates to photoshop CC one could export from LR a series od Raw images to HDR Pro, create a 32bit file, save and editin LR or CR.
Now, when creating the 32bit file photshops promts a button for edting in Camera Raw instead of the usual "create file" (then to be saved and opened in LR). Which is ok, but if I edit the file in CR and then open it as a Tiff in LR the adjustments done in CR are not visible in the sliders, but not only, the images is of bad quality in LR.
How do you export from coreldraw to illustrator without it cutting up compound paths?
Currently if you have text that has been converted to curves, all of the letters with counters (or holes in them like O, P, B etc) get cut in half. Surely there's a way to stop this?
Which exporting method/format do you use to export your CorelDRAW projects? I'm talking about exporting web projects for Web purposes so the default colors of my doc are RGB, the default resolution is set to 300 dpi.
I tried many combinations, but the only way to get EXACTLY the same image as on my screen, is to do a "print screen" and then paste it on any photo editing program with no background, and save as JPEG.
I calibrated my monitor with Samsung's Natural Color Pro, and I added the created profile to "RGB profile" in "color settings" (so I don't use the standard sRGB profile).
Another information, I exports my projects to .JPG format, maybe I'm wrong? I use .JPG because the results are acceptable and the exported file size is low compared with other formats.
First of all I don't use the "export" option from the "file" menu anymore, because after a few attempts and combinations with this option, the results were just AWFUL, even when I opened the .JPG file on the same computer on which the project was created (so in theory it should be OK on my screen but not necessarily on other computers with sRGB, or custom calibrated profiles). I think it is because CorelDRAW embed my "Samsung Natural Color Pro ICM" profile, which won't display the image correctly on computers with other color profiles installed.
That's why the tool I use to export is "export soft proof" in the "color Proof settings", clicking "preserve RGB numbers", also in .JPG. With this option I have the possibility to embed another color profile, for example sRGB or even AdobeRGB to the project, and the results are acceptable but... they STILL look slightly different from what I have dispalyed on my screen. And here I think the main reason is "background color" option. I cannot uncheck it, or set to "no background", and I have noticed that the chosen color influences the look of my project. So with white color background it will be a little "washed out", with black it will be to dark etc..
With .PNG format I also don't get satisfying results, I tried with different settings combinations, still the colors are washed out with no saturation, maybe I didn't figured out yet how to set it properly?
Finally, I can get a perfect result (in that sense that as far as I can see, it is identic with what I have on my screen in CorelDRAW) with .BMP format, but first I don't know if this format is compatible and adequate for Web purposes, and second the files are pretty big after such conversion, even after decreasing the resolution to 96 dpi.

View 8 Replies View RelatedOne of our tech writers has a handful of screenshots (mostly JPEGs and TIFFs) that he wants to use in a manual. However, the customer requires that the graphics provided to them be in .cgm format.Â
Despite all of my attempts (using CorelDraw X5) to import the bitmaps and then save as or export to .cgm, the customer says the files are "blank" and unusable. When I try and open the .cgm files I created using a web-based file viewer, the graphics show up as completely black. I have opened known good .cgm files with this same viewer, and the graphics show up as expected.
I have tried all of the different options avaialble to me (to the best of my knowledge; to call me a novice with Corel would be an understatement), with no success. Am I missing something? Or is there some other way I should try and accomplish this?
I need to export on a regular basis parts of a X6 file to eps. The files are huge an can contain all sorts of filter. They are all powerclips, some with shadows and transparency and symbols containing JPG's.
When i export the first part of it most at the time it works well, exporting the second set  I am ending up with only half the data. If I copy and past into a new document and try from there I might get lucky or some other parts are missing, if I reduce the size by 50 percent same thing.
When I export my  CDR file to EPS, which I've done thousands of time, it seems to export, but when I try to open it, I get an error  "The file.......is an unknown format and cannot be opened".  When I look at the file profile in my documents, I can see that it says "0 KB"
I can open up older EPS files from my documents fine, but not able to do that now.
