I have a 9 minute video of about 100 or so pictures. Each image plays about 5 seconds. I want to increase each picture to play for 7 or 8 seconds. Can I change the duration of each image without going into each image separately?
I am preparing a slideshow using photos. Is there a way to change the duration time to all of the photos at once? Say to 6 sec. I can do them one by one but I have a number of photos. I am using Video Studio X3.
I have produced a movie which is a mixture of mostly still photos and some video clips all in the VS X5 Video track. Having now watched the finished movie on my TV, I now wish to extend the duration of all photos. Is there a way to globally change the duration of all photos?
I’m making a very simple movie using photos only. I need to change the play time of each photo to vary in duration. When I click on the individual photo in the Timeline view and drag it to extend or decrease the amount of time it plays for, it affects the duration of the following photo, either lengthening it or shortening it. Is there a way to adjust one photo’s duration without affecting the next in line? In other words, is there a way to fine-tune one photo, while having all others maintain their current time properties?
I've been making great progress in learning and using videostudio... but I still can not figure out what the orange tabs are that are called "pause duration". during a clip review I can move them and nothing appears to happen... what would I use them for?
I'm trying to create a photo slideshow DVD. I've used one of the instant project templates. Populated the placeholders and then dropped my photos into one of the video overlay tracks. I now want to increase the duration from 3s to 6s. I have tried doing so by dragging out the first clip to 6s and by double clicking and manually editing to 6s. The result is the same: I get 3s of random transition between that clip and the next.
What I want to do is create 6s photo clips with a transition between each clip. So, how do I increase the photo duration to be visible for 6s and how do I then drop a transition between all the clips? I don't want to add them manually as there are nearly 200 photos?
With X2 and prior versions I could use the Make Movie Wizard (?) and add photos and music then match the photo duration to the music. Then I could close this and return to VideoStudeo advanced editor and my clips and music would be on the timeline. How do I do this in X3?
I can see where I can use DVD MovieFactory 7se and do this but I can't return this information to the advanced editor. I don't want to create a video file and use that I want to use the actual photos and music so I can do further editing.
Trying to make a slideshow in LR4, however I can't seem to change the duration on individual photos. i can set the speed for the slideshow, but this speed is globalized to all photos. Can I change this so that I can change duration of individual photos?
I have about 10 pictures and I want to change all of them in the same manner.I know there's a recording function somewhere that allows the user to apply the same effect to several photos at one time but I don't recall where it's at.
I have bunch of images that are all the same size. I was wondering if I wanted to shrink the image by 50%, do I have to do them one by one or is there some function or method so that i can do a whole batch since it's all the same commands.
Now I have scanned my old dia pictures and want to change capture time for multiple images in lightroom 5.3. It works for one image whem I in library view use Metadata, Edit Capture Time... and set the date using "Adjust to a specificed date and time". If I try to change for more than one image by marking them and edit the capture time it fails. The pictures gets both different date and time.
I'm using Elements 11. In order to add watermarks to many JPG pics at once, I use the function "Process Multiple Files".
I select a source folder and a destination folder, and adds a three digit serial number to each file. I do NOT tick the checkbox marked "Change picture size". After that I define the watermark I want printed on my pics and hits OK. All the files in the source folder are processed and saved, with a new name in the destination folder. Fair and square.
But. The file size of the new file is heavily reduced, compared to the original. It goes from 10 MB down to 500 KB (in general). Why is that? Is there any way I can prevent it?
I have a series of pics (approx 80) that I'd like to load into Elements, with each photo going into a single layer. I google'd a series of old posts where somebody used a "script", but the links are no longer working and that trails is dead.
I've been having problems selecting images in the library module when multiple images are in view (not down in the timeline, but in the main window). It seems sporadic with which ones it won't let me select, it somehow manages to be the ones that I need to click....!! I just literally can't click it as if it were an image I already imported or something, but it's not grayed out like that. I've been having to select a nearby image then use my arrow keys to navigate to and click the image I need.
In Lightroom 4.1 when rating (flags, stars or colors) a selected group of images all images selected will have the same flag applied. For instance if I select 10 images to view in the survey mode to compare and select 1 to be flagged as rejected all 10 will be flagged rejected, not just the one. Is there a way to turn this off to select a group of images and flag each differently?
let's say I have a page with 6 images and 6 captions. is there anyway to crop out more than one at a time and save them? Currently I have to crop out all but one, then save that one, then reload the image and crop out another one and save etc over and over. is there a better way?
Hi, I am starting a new business making art prints for artists. I have purchased this huge printer ... just got it. I've been studying photoshop for months using "classroom in a book" and am finding out that I've probably studied the wrong thing.
I have three questions and thanks in advance for any of your expertise.
1. I successfully printed out a two foot by two foot photo I took of my husband with my 8.2 megapixel camera. Then, tried to print out another photo.... used the same photoshop settings, but the print was 6 inches by 6 inches...... I did notice that the second print was only 16. %... I wondered if that caused the difference in size? How do I set that to 100 % if that is what is needed?
2. I want to print out multiple small prints using this big paper and printer... I want to tile these various prints (all different) along the top making rows... I want them to be all different. I called Epson support and they said I could do that in photoshop. Do I use the browser?
3. I have a wide format scanner. It does up to 11 x 17 inches. If I have something larger to scan, let's say, I scan the bottom of the image and then scan the top of the image, how do I put them together?
How can we extend the timeline duration to more than 10 seconds in Photoshop cs6 extended for a 3D object layer? It seems you can not make it longer than 10 seconds. Other layers can be made longer.
I’m trying to make a 3D text video intro in Photoshop CS6. It seems like the default time line is only 10 seconds long. Is there any way to extend the duration of the time line?
I have a sequence that's 2 and a half minutes long, but my final edit is 2 minutes. I want to change the duration to 2:05 so I can export out various versions.
I'm creating a slideshow in which I want some slides to deviate from the standard duration I've set for the show. I can't see how to do this. Is it possible?
I have a similar question about captions. In general I want to show the contents of the "caption" metadata, but for some slides that doesn't work well. Can I get more control over these things?
I've been using Ps CS5 with a wacom graphics tablet on my mac for over a year now, and have been unable to use the brush feature for the entire duration. With or without the graphics tablet, brush strokes come out as pixelated. I've gotten around that by using the mixer brush instead, which doesn't come out pixelated. However, that's pretty limiting.
I've trained on Ps with a graphics tablet on other computers prior to owning it without this problem and researched on forums to no avail. I've reinstalled both the tablet and Ps and had no luck.
I am compiling a slideshow that has a combination of still photos and videos. I have no problem changing the duration for indiviual photos. However, for the video clips, I cannot get the duration to change from the default setting for the entire slideshow. how I can change the duration for a video clip in a slideshow?
I cant make the music duration slider in the slideshow go to 3.7. I can only get it to go between 3.6 & 3.8 Can this be done. Fit to Music does not work for slideshow. Music ends before pictures
