VideoStudio :: Do These NewBlue FX Plugins Work In Version 5
Dec 1, 2012
Do these NewBlue FX Plugins work in C VS5? I was trying to install the free Cartoonr plugin but I do not see it after install.Perhaps it's in the wrong folder, or the plugin is not compatible with VS5?Also was considering purchasing the following. Are they compatible with VS5?
I downloaded VS X5 and I want try NewBlue FX, but when I download trail of NewBlue, the installation ask me where install the plugin ! But normally it's automatic ? perhaps it's NewBlue whoes isn't available for X5,
I've previously paid for 3D Explosions from NewBlue and just today activated and installed the effects. They don't, however, show up in my FX file. I don't know why, and need to use them. How to get them to appear and be usable in VSX4? Do I have to find them somewhere and manually put them in the program file?
I have just downloaded the VS Pro x4 program. Among the other extras to download there is the application "NewBlue Lighting Effects for VideoStudio Pro". I will be very grateful to understand what is this application.
I'm a newbie for Illustrator plugins and I was referring to [URL] .... as a start up but the example gived used Xcode 3.1.1. I'm using version 5.0.2 and I found that most the steps cannot be find in newer versions. Where I can find material for beginner to learn.
'm trying to install a color wheel plug-in into Photoshop CS6, however I can't seem to get it to appear in the extensions menu.My biggest problem is that I can't find the folder where the plugin should be placed.I didn't install Photoshop onto my C: drive you see, and when I go into "C:Program Files/Adobe" all that's there is "Common Files".
Now, I tried going onto the drive where it's installed, but when I go I see both an "Adobe" and "Photoshop CS6 (64bit)" folder. There's no extra "Photoshop CS6 (64bit) folder in the Adobe folder, all that's in there is "Patch files" and there's not Plug-ins folder whatsoever in the Photoshop CS6 folder. I tried creating one, but that obviously didn't work. Not even setting that folder as the additional plug-ins folder worked... I'm not sure what else to try or where else to look.
I just installed the trial version of PSCS6 using win xp pro sp3 32 bit. Plug-ins I added to the plug-in folder don't show up in the filter menu after re-start.
Had my windows(7/32) installed again And DPX with latest updates. But now the PS-plugins gives me an error and quit message. The buildin plugins work(enhance-videofilter) Redfield/AV/Mehdi are not.
I recently installed the CC versions of Photoshop and Bridge, but all my plugins disappeared. I've tried reinstalling them, but they still don't appear in Photoshop CC. I use Nik, OnOne, and Topaz plugins - get them to work in Photoshop CC! This is on a Windows 7 PC.
I recently bought a new computer & re-installed photoshop CS5.1 successfully, but can't get the plug ins to work (phototools 2.5 & perfect effects 3, which were a free download with purchase). I am running windows 7 64bit. I copied & pasted them into the plug ins folder (in both applications of photoshop - there is the 32 bit version on 'program files (x86)' & the 64 bit version in 'program files'), but neither will work.
How do I get my plugins to work in elements 12? I have them in elements 7. Trying to get them to show up under the filter key like they do in elements 7. I know it has some thing to do with preferences. I have Nic and Topez.
I am on an iMac meeting all of the LR4 spec requirements and then some. I just installed the release copy of LR4 this morning and have been playing around with it. I just discovered that the "Edit in" feature does not work at all. This worked fine in my previous version of LR 2.6
When I click on "Edit in" Adobe Elements 10 or Topaz Fusion Express (to call up Adjust or B&W Effects) nothing happens. No error message. No popup. Nada. I went back to my prior version of LR and things still work there.
I also tried the "Edit in" Elements option on my Windows 7 PC 64 bit version of LR4 and at least with Elements it seems to work. I have not installed Fusion Express on the PC yet so I don't know if that works or not.
got the new Alien Skin plugins to work. When you install Alien Skin, you install to a single directory, both 32 bit and 64 bit plugins. Then in X5, File Locations, I put that directory in the settings but still nothing. maybe X5 doesn't work with them.
If there are any 3D plugins that will work on Pro x6 Ultimate . I've had a look at the VIDEO COPILOT | Element 3D - 3D Object based Particle Plug-in. It lists a lot of programs it will work with but not Corel.
I own the pc version of Photoshop CS4. I'm about to switch to the Mac and would like to know if my software will fully function on a Mac machine.
I'm also thinking of installing Vista Ultimate 64-bit operating system on the Mac. Does CS4 have a 64 bit version?
Do I give up anything by running duel systems on a Mac?
Am I creating any performance issues on the Mac by running pc software? I would image I'm leaving the door open to viruses on the pc side of the Mac should I install Windows based programs.
What does it cost to exchange my recently purchased CS4 for Windows to a Mac version?
Yesterday I had to uninstall my cs6 and reinstall it to recognize new RAM I installed. Today in Photoshop the print settings work in the 32 bit version but do not work in the 64 bit version of Photoshop.
after installation i try to activate the product.Following several phone numbers regarding activation at last i get redirected to this site.
Only activation also doesn't work, with a message containing information that the online activation server can not be reached (no error number) i didn't use the product for quite a while. It might be, that it was installed and activated on a machine that doesn't exist anymore.
Will the current plugins for Sigma DP1/2 RAW files work with files from the DP1/2 Merrill cameras? And if not, is Adobe developing plugins for these cameras?
I recently graduated from ps3 extended to ps5 extended ( was very use to the ps3 version) . Now am having problems when working with multiple pics in the ps5 extended version. I am unable to float mult, pics and or be able to minimize them to pull up another.
I also need the screen mode with the menu bar at the top to be able to minimize etc and select different pic. This seem to be the Workspace default in ps3 extended and I was very use to that....with the ps5 it is def not the default and is set to standard screen mode ( from the top selections) and I keep having to go the the top and select full screen mode with menu bar to even have my tools....then select float multiple pics to have the options of minimizing or max?....
I have this issue in Photoshop CS6 which I don't find in the older version. I only can click from the dropdown menu as the shortcut key function "Alt+Ctrl+C" is not applicable?
I have always flattened everything out of CDR whenever there is any transparencies involved, this works fine, you just have to deal with large bitmaps. Now in recent discussions some respected contributors have touted using the X3 pdf setting with Compatibility set to Ver9. That works, transparencies print without the yellow box ....fine... but.
I design with CMYK colours ( I know.. BIG discussion that has been addressed many times) and use RGB images (because they are usually client supplied or our Stock site only supplies RGB).
My problem is in my PDF settings I have everything set to export as Native which works well on the Roland using Max Impact and even if I set compatibility to PDF Ver 9 transparency will still have the yellow box.
To get transparencies to work without flattening, everything has to be exported as CMYK and as you know RGB blue goes purple when you do this and the RGB images just don't look as good.Is there a way to get transparency to work in a PDF with exporting everything as Native and using PDF Ver 9?
