Feb 23, 2012I've previously paid for 3D Explosions from NewBlue and just today activated and installed the effects. They don't, however, show up in my FX file. I don't know why, and need to use them. How to get them to appear and be usable in VSX4? Do I have to find them somewhere and manually put them in the program file?

VideoStudio :: NewBlue Film Look Plugin - Invalid Parameter 15032:1:18
Sep 3, 2012I got in on the big sale that NewBlue was having and I purchased the Film Effects pack (finally!). Everything is installed and registered.
There are actually 5 individual effects that you get with the Film Effects, they are:
Film Camera
Film Damage
Film Express
Film Look
Film Pro
I can successfully add each of these to a clip in my timeline and then modify the attributes, except one.
The Film Look plugin give me the error:
Corel Video Studio Pro
Invalid parameter
[15032:1:18]
It is a Corel error dialog, not a NewBlue error dialog. Only the Film Look plugin give me the error, the other 4 work just fine.
I have fully purchased and legally registered Corel Video Studio Pro and NewBlue Film Effects running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
VideoStudio :: Installing Pro X4 Over X3?
Feb 27, 2012I cannot access my program for some reason and it tells me reinstalling might solve my problem.However, when I start the reinstall process, it asks me are you sure you want to delete the program.Well, I want to keep all my hard work, photos, videos, etc. Won't reinstalling delete all this.
I bought x4 bundle package and was going to install it over x3, but not sure that will solve my problem either. Can or should I install x4? I have the program installed on an external hard drive and can access my photos and stuff, just can't launch the programs.

I am choose *.avi , 30 fps, 800x600 , h264 (from k-lite) (2000 kbs, ultrafast, tuning:film) and want to choose mp3 , but i can't find it. 1question : How to install MP3 into pro x5
I am capturing avi file with (h264, 4000 Kbs, ultrafast) and (pcm,1114 kbs). BUT!!! in "project" mode it is playing very slowly! .. and i must to convert it to mp4 file with h264(4000kbs, ultrafast, level 4.1) and aac(192 kbs). This second file is better to playing in "project" mode.
Is there any problems with avi-container in video studio?? or it is my problem?? i saw that proxy files are dont creating in avi(h264,pcm) .
so my 2 question is: Why video studio cant read normally and played it in "project" mode normally? where is problem?
VideoStudio :: Installing X4 On New Computer?
Mar 17, 2012I currently have Video Studio Pro X4 on my laptop, but my laptop does struggle sometimes with HD video editing.
I now have been given a desktop PC with a faster processor, faster graphics card and more memory.
I obviously now want to move my software from my laptop to my desktop and don't want to have to buy a new licence for the software.
Can I just unistall the software from my laptop, and then put a new install on the desktop PC, or is it more complicated than this?

to download the New Blue Cartoon filter. I Selected the Host Platform as Windows In the free effects set up box VS was already selected Destination folder was designated as prog files New blue free effects for windows.
In the New Blue Free Effects install Assist for VS box it said that the path would be to the vft.plug (via prog filesUL SystemsULVS11). In my VS11+ vft_plug folder-- New Blue Cartoonr,vtf files 131kb and date modified 26 06 2010 showed.
But the filter is not there in the filter library of VS.Did not show on reboot either.I was not asked to register.

Dec 30, 2012Everything was working fine with my VS PRO X5 program until after I downloaded and installed the following "Instant Template" from within VS. I chose the one which has a surfboard in it's bmp on the page with all the other Instant Projects to choose from.
C:UsersNEWDocumentsCorel VideoStudio ProVSPTemplate 039_HD-Project. I think that download might be corrupted because that's the ONLY thing I've downloaded/installed to VS before this happened.
Immediately after installing that project, my computer would freeze immediately as soon as I either loaded it up, or clicked on any of the icons such as "Instant Template," etc. Even CTRL/ALT/DELETE fails to operate normally.
All my system files are up-to-date, no viruses/malware found, rebooted computer to flush memory, etc. before starting VS. The same problem happens each time, and ONLY with Video Studio. Sometimes, if I wait 5 minutes or so while the hourglass is spinning and the top bar says "Video Studio is Not Responding," suddenly, it will then begin working. But, it works only until I click on the Instant Template choice again.
Question: How do I uninstall or else get rid of the VS additional downloaded files, SAFELY, without losing any of my previous creations and files, or VS default templates, etc.? Will I have to uninstall VS completely and reinstall it? If so, what is the correct procedure recommended to do that. I can no longer use my program.

May 22, 2012I have a problem with installing any Adobe CS5 programs on my Mac OS X 10.6.8. I successfully installed a Master Collection CS5 edition that we use in my school. But then I had to reinstall all of them and after installing it says it was successfull but all I find in my "Applications" folder is just folders of the applications and nothing to launch inside. I thought at first that maby this had something to do with cashe so I cleared all cashe and manually looked for more files that maby would have remained on the computer but I could not find any. I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and more than enough space on the computer, have deleted my existing version of CS2, and It keeps coming up and saying that it was checking system profile (or something like that) and now I have just tried it again and it comes up with several errors, the first one is MAIN_FILE_VERSION. The second one is PRODUCT_REGISTRY_PARENT. And the last one is PRODUCT_REGISTRY_KEY. I am trying to install the student eddition, and have sent in my application into adobe already. I am usually really good with computers, but this is just running into a hole for me, and I really need photoshop as I have a shoot tomorrow and need to edit it.

Oct 20, 2005The company I've just started working for has gotten a copy of CS2 with a 5 user license for the 4 machines. I managed to talk them into letting me use the 5th license at home (I work from home from time to time). Woohoo
However I've been trying to install it on my 1.8Ghz AppleMac G5 with 512Mb AM 120Mb free HD space and running Mac OSX 10.3.9 and It won't.
I run the installer program it asks for my admin password and then calls up a dialog box saying...
"All Adobe applications must be closed before your new software can be installed.
Please close all Adobe applications that are running and then restart the installer."
And makes me quit the installer.
There is NOTHING running.
I have dumped ALL existent Adobe software.
I have created a new User Account and tried from there.
I have safe booted and tried like that.
I have repaired my Disk Permissions
I have created Disk Images of all the disks and tried installing from the desktop.
Still does the same thing.

Apr 1, 2009I own the Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Web Premium and I just purchased the Adobe Production Premium CS4. I just rebuilt the machine with Vista 64 and am about to reinstall all the software. I'm trying to figure out if I can skip Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3 and Version Cue CS3 when I install the CS3 suite and just use the ones that came with CS4 or is this going to cause any issues? (i.e. should I also install the CS3 versions?). I was told to make sure I install the Flash CS3 before the Flash CS4, but what about Photoshop and Illustrator?
