View 4 RepliesIs there anyway to have my credits roll on the screen from the bottom but have the fade out in the middle of the screen instead of going all the way to the top?

Now when I try to alter the length of a clip in a timeline, it automatically switches to the rolling edit tool with the 2 arrows on either side of a line. If I try to just grab the end of a clip it also drags the end of the clip beside it as well. It affects inserts and almost anything I do. I can't figure out how to return my selection tool to normal.

I'm trying to recreate the effect where the movie pauses on a character, the colours change and the guys name comes up.
(P7). All of a sudden I can't open it! It starts to load and just as it finishes the credits, it closes automatically!
I already rebooted several times.
I'm new to Ai, and I'm working off of a 2 column end movie credit scroll with a space between them.
The formatting/alignment is fine and I simply need to replace the names in each column. However, the text is not behaving how I'd like it to. When I type text in the left column, I'd like the text to move to the left, but when I type it goes to the right (into the middle space), pushes the text in the other column to the right and messes up the formatting.
Is there a setting or way to make the text go to the left?
I have an Image which I had wanted to add text that will be rotating across the image. The Image itself should be static. For example I have a static picture of a car, and I want a dynamic rotating text displaying, buy now pay in 5 years including free garage service.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to create a hole on a golf course and need to be able to add some gentle rolling effects to the fairway layer so it doesn't look flat. Can PS6 do this? I do not currently have CS6 extended but could get it if needed. I was thinking maybe some kind of wire frame and then it could generate some hightlights and shadows based on that frame?
I know nothing about 3d but from what I do know that is what came to mind. Right now I'm doing it with the burn and dodge tools and other similar methods but it's time consuming.
I make *.MTS videos in the format of 1280x720. When I output the video (PR Pro CS6) using Encore CS6 to produce a DVD it outputs in the format 720x576. Is there a way I could maintain the 1280x720 format?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAn interesting problem for all you inventor users.I have a design where a tube/pipe requires a series of holes at a specific dia and triangular pitch is required to be modeled.
If one can imagine a flat piece of sheet steel ie standard perforated sheet which is then rolled to form a pipe/tube to a specific dia then this is what is required.
Is it possible to model this in inventor say as a flat sheet with given thickness and a specific no of holes at a given pitch, this then to be rolled, obviously the development of the sheet to be correct for the pipe od.ie 3.142 x dia.
Is there a function in inventor to enable this, the alternative being a very long winded method of modeling the pipe and then adding holes.
I need to reproduce wavy contour (blueprint) lines which will follow the undulating landscape on a lot of images I have. As per the attachment, they almost have a neon glow and are in a grid format. I can do a grid but adding the wave filter doesn't allow me to adapt it to suit the pic.

The bearing I'm using is from the content center. I can only choose between sectioning the bearing or not section it, I don't have that option anymore when it comes to individuals parts of the bearing.
I have drawn a cylinder, with inside diameter 1028mm, wall thickness 5mm. We usually have calculated unfolded part length like this: outside dim. 1038mm - 5mm (wall thickness) = 1032 x 3,14 = 3240mm. Now when i unfold in inventor I get for the length 3215,35mm. It is quite far from the result we usually would have received.
Unfolded part will be rolled to cylinder. What parameters should be overlooked when making unfolded parts for plate rolling?
I am looking for ways to draw the rolling of blades or slats around an axe for Aluminum Roller Shutters. The path of the rolling is an hellix, rolling around a 70 mm octogonal reel then continue downward in a downward movement.
I have attached some pics from Catalogues and Guides where such have been drawn.
I am having a small but annoying problem with the viewcube in AutoCAD 2014. In all the previous versions that had the viewcube, when I unchecked the "Zoom to Extents after view change" box, the view would pivot about the center of the screen. Now it seems to pivot about an arbitrary point an I have to zoom_e anyway.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy video clip, brought over into Premiere CS6 from Final Cut Pro 5, has the usual left and right audio tracks, but in Premiere they are not linked into a stereo pair. Thus the volume level has to be adjusted separately in each track.
In Final Cut, I can quickly convert two independent audio tracks into a stero pair by selecting the tracks and then going to the menu Modify > Stereo Pair. I can't figure out how to do this in Premiere.
When two audio tracks are not linked, the volume level has to be adjusted separately in each track, which wastes time. But after two tracks are linked into a Stereo Pair in Final Cut, adjusting either track adjusts them both, together. That's what I want to do now in Premiere.
So, how do I make two separate audio tracks into a linked Stereo Pair in Premiere?
I'm trying to build an assembly with conical rollers rolling on a cylindrical support. Refer to the attached sketch. I'd like to be able to constrain the conical faces of the roller to the cylindrical surface of the support. It doesn't seem to be possible to do that in Inventor; or, more accurately, it's not possible to put a tangential constraint on both conical faces at the same time. The first tangential constraint causes the part to place a generatrix line parallel to the axis of the cylinder. (I had to look up what generatrix means, too.) So it's not possible to make the second tangential constraint.
How I can do this? Just in case that's not difficult enough, the reason I'm doing this is because, ultimately, the support will not be a plain cylinder but actually a tube that also curves. It's the behaviour of the roller through various curves on the support tube that I ultimately want to model, but I have no hope of doing that if I can't even get the roller constrained onto a plain cylinder.
Looking to see if any out there has a "Double Rolling Chain Link Fence Detail for opennings greater than 25 feet" who does not mind sharing. Although I have seen a double cantelever sliding gate of geater openning width, Of all my years in the building modelling field I had never seen a detail, or an actual gate for that matter. This is for a regular galvanized chain link fence construction. My search online has been fruitless.

For some reason when using the path option in inventor studio for camera animation the camera rolls for no reason?? I have created two helical curve sketches around my product, the outer curve is the path for the camera and the inner curve is the path for the target. Both curves are the same height and have 1 revolution. When i play the camera it works out fine untill it hits 1/4 of the way through and suddenly flips 180 degrees so now the camera is upside down, once it hits 3/4 of the way it flips back again to the correct rotation. If i dont create an inner curve for the target and place the target directly in the centre of my product with no path to follow the camera spins all over the place when it follows the curve.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIt used to be that whenever i would move the cursor in adobe premier with either the left or right arrows or by simply clicking and dragging it, it would play the audio from that frame. But it is not doing it anymore, I think i must have accidently hit a shortcut key or something to change it in settings i dont know. But it would be good if I could get the setting to change it back. I know for a fact that my laptops speakers do work, so its not that.

I want to have it to where I can have both of my stop motion sequences playing in the same frame, side by side. I have a sequence of my character doing one thing on side, and another one doing something different, and I want to mash them together to look like they happened at the same time. Like I said I am pretty new to Premire pro, and if you need more infromation, let me know, and I will try to provide.
