Is there any difference between the previous versionn and the latest one?
How can I open RAW files from my nikon D80 in photoshop CS version 8? At the moment I have to open and edit my RAW files through Nikon View NX and then convert the files to Jpeg, dump them in a folder and then re-open them as Jpegs in photoshop,how I can open them straight into photoshop, I really can't take this cross platform editing..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently using Adobe CS4 trial version, and I have to complete one small project by the end of this weekend. For this project, I need to use the Magic Wand Tool which I cannot find in Adobe CS 4 trail version. Anyone has had similar experience? Also, my refine edges tool seems not to be functioning properly. It does not save any changes to the object after clicking "OK". I have no idea what is going on.
I am pretty new to Adobe Photoshop. I am now relying mainly on the online tutorials, and there it says that it should save all the changes after clicking "OK".
I used Adobe DNG Converter version 8.3.0.141 to convert .rw2 files created by my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 camera. These files won't transfer into the Organizer and, when trying to open them from the Editor, I get an error message saying the file can't be opened "because it is the wrong type of file".

After the installation of Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 on my new system, the catalogs of version 10 do not appear for the conversion to version 11; my 2 catalogs are installed on a LACIE-2BIG NAS system.

I had Photoshop CS6 installed and working on my Mac using Adobe Creative Cloud. However now a dialog appears that says "Help Improve Adobe's Product". Regardless if I approve this dialog or not Adobe Photoshop starts up with every menu option grayed and I can do nothing. I have to force quit the application. At this point it is 100% unusable.

Product: CS4 64 bit: Adobe Output Module-Adobe updater downloads 2 updates 75.9mb (Camera Raw 5.3). After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded to ver 2012 from ver 2000. I have numerous macros that were written for the older version that I need to utilize in ver 2012. I manually recreated them in the new version by typing in the commands from ver 2000. As I expected I am getting errors when I try to run these macros in Ver 2012. The mlayer command, for example, does not work. I am pretty sure I need to use the -layer command and have tried this but I still get errors. While I am relatively proficient in ver 2000 I am having some trouble finding commands in ver 2012 that match the old version. Below is an example of a macro from ver 2000 as well as my attempt to rewrite it in ver 2012.

I am able to open the file in the upgraded version but it states that it will open as a student version. Also I cannot copy and paste anything from the student version to the upgraded one. Forother image types, usually the 32-bit version is launched. The plugins (e.g., from onOne) seem to install only for the 32-bitversion and unavailable for the 64-bit version. Which version should be used? I can force one or the otherlaunched (for example, always click on a 64-bit shortcut to run). Ihave not noticed any particular advantages of one over theother except that the plugins are only available for the 32-bitversion.
