View 2 RepliesI've seen this topic on here before. If I choose the type tool, it's just a flat line. I've chosen a black or dark color on a white surface and I've messed around with the size of the type.
What am I doing wrong?
If there is a way to remove the bend extents line when you create flat pattern. I don't mean in the drawing, the actual flat itself. My reasoning for this is when i transfer the flat into my nesting program, the bend extents lines transfer too. See attached img.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an FDO layer which I am styling like so:
Concat ( FDO_LAYER1, Concat ( '
', FDO_LAYER2 ) )
This layer is styled so that all text is centered. In this case, FDO_LAYER2 is having it's text left aligned. I'm pretty sure this is due to the method I am using for a new line. Is there something else I can use to break the line and maintain the center styling?
Using a second point for FDO_LAYER2 is not an option.
Basically I got a process which is quite long , let's say 30 seconds.
I want put a counter at command line showing to

We have an employee in our office that is kind of old school in some ways. That person has a habit of exploding everything possible in a drawing. Most of us create notations using mtext so it's easy to edit and manipulate. Is there a way to convert the single line text back to multiline after it's exploded?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI was working on a project and I had recently installed a new font. Now all of a sudden whenever I make a new text box and type some text in nothing shows up. I can only see a tiny black line which isn't even text, even tho its set to 36ft. I changed the font and size to see if it made a difference, and nothing worked. I restarted PS and my computer several times, and still the same thing...

I am trying to export geometry found in a flat pattern sketch overlaid onto the flat pattern.
Since I am creating the output file manually I gather the flat pattern boundaries and bend center lines for output to a file.
When I add flat pattern sketch entities to the mix they do not overlay properly. What matrix would I have to push the sketch entities through to get them to the same coordinates as the flat pattern?
Any fast way to translate text (single line text) in AutoCAD from one language to another?

I endlessly find that I have text line objects which I later wish had been proper text areas (because I want to control the size of their bounding box, for example).
Is there any sensible way to convert a text line object into a text area object - it's a bore to do it by creating a new text object and then cutting and pasting the text, and it is seemingly a trivial thing for the software to do automatically.
Alternatively, is there an option (perhaps a hidden one) to have all text objects created as areas rather than lines?
How do I make the text, inside of a text box, continue to the next line? Every time I type something, when it reaches the end of the text box it continues at the beginning of the same line, rather than beginning below the sentence. So rather than typinga paragraph, I type a sentence that has layers of words.
View 5 Replies View Relatedway to add in a line of text superimposed on a photo (or in an added white strip along the lower edge) when printing a picture?
Like, eg., a byline, date, fielname, copyrigt or similar stuff.
I mean, I don't want to include the textline permanently in the picture, only to add it in sometimes when printing for some particular purpose.
I figure having a couple of such lines in a textfile and cut an paste from it when needed.

Before long I was up to 100 pages, looking fantastic. But then the thought come to me, I have set may page colour to BLACK and all my drawing and text are WHITE as I said looks fantastic until you go to print a page. How much black Ink would you use printing 100 pages black.
SO MY QUESTION IS CAN COREL REVERSE THE LINE ART TO BLACK AND THE PAGE TO WHITE SO I CAN HAVE A PRINTABLE VERSION ?
I have tried publishing to PDF then in acrobat replacing document colours and on screen that works fine but when you print it still prints
