How to reduce the exposure on this picture, fix red eye, maybe whiten teeth (are they really that dull grey ) and possibly take that blurry guy out from the background.
The only important fix would be to reduce the exposure . All my "Auto-Fix" edit programs cause a bad glare and the picture loses color.
when I was using Elements 5.0 I could open two photos, drag one photo into the other, then resize the photo by selecting it and using the handles. I can't find a way to do this in Photoshop CS3. Is this possible?  Am I missing a setting somewhere? I can drag one photo into another and move it around, but just can't resize it.

A little bit like this one, taking this one into GIMP. I have been using the software quite a while for private photos, but I have never attempted something like this...
So far I have managed to remove all content except for "the edges" of the car, but I am a bit lost how I can make those edges smooth, because now I can see that the masks I used were not "straight". how to progress making a symbol out of a photo?

So far I have managed to remove all content except for "the edges" of the car, but I am a bit lost on how I can make those edges smooth, because now I can see that the masks I used were not "straight"; the photo is reduced to monochrome. Well, what I am asking is: How to progress making a symbol out of a photo, from scratch?
I want to reduce the number of pixels in a photo so I can send it as an avatar to another forum. How do I do this? Older version was easy but I can't find method in present update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI think circle after reduce using mask should stay circle instead of you can get in photopaint.
Steps:
1. make 10px circle
2. make mask from it
3. reduce mask by 3px
4. crop object to mask
system configuration:
Win 7 Pro 64bit, Intel i5-2500, 8 GB RAM, 128 SSD SAMSUNG + 2TB on hard drives.
corel version:
X6 VERSION: 16.4.0.1280
I have a photo that I copied from an Power Point Presentation which looked great on Power Point but when I have it in PS I noticed that the image size is just 2.507x1.028 with a res. of 576. Pixel Dimensions are 2.45M
I would like to print out a larger version of this photo but I'm not having much luck with it. It gets blurry when I try to enlarge it.
It was on Power Point as PNG graphic and I saved it to the desktop as a Gif andthen dragged it into PS.
Don't know much about Power Point maybe there is a better way to transfer pics from it.
I am trying to edit some pictures that a customer of mine has taken. They are of silver utensils wrapped with beads and the way she has taken them, there is a huge shine reflection on them. There are 25 current pictures all using the same dark background.
I have fiddled with the adjustment brightness and highlights, but they come out looking gray and fake, so I removed those adjustments.
I tried using burn the bright spots and then dodge the coloured stones to bring back some luster. No matter what i am doing, it no longer is a silver utensil, it is a picture that has been poorly edited, and that simply isn't okay.
Here are some examples of the raw picture I am working with [URL] ...........
I need to reduce the glare/reflection and the stones need to be vibrant.

This box obscures far too much of the image I am trying to correct! And it does not need to be this large based on its content!
I'm guessing that this is a super simple question, but evidently I'm not sharp enough to figure it out....I've imported a bitmap file [.tif] into PP, & it's MUCH larger than the letter-size canvas I'm using. So I'm wondering what the simple method is to fit that bitmap to the canvas. The thing that's driving me nuts is, I select this big bitmap [it's roughly 3300 px by 2800 px, FWIW], go into Image > Resample, & under "Image size" it's giving me 11.0 x 8.5! And why PP is saying that the image is already the same size as the canvas--well that's why I'm writing this post. Cause I don't know why.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have been reporting this problem in PhotoPaint for many years now, and was hoping it might be fixed with the 64 bit implementation. Â Sadly, it still does not work. Â Certainly this cannot be such an impossible problem to resolve.
The last version when it worked was with release 12, which I kept around for quite a while until I switched to a new system. Â Â I have tried it on each release of PhotoPaint since then, and it has failed on X3, X4, X5 and now it still fails in X6. Â
It works with smaller images, but when the image is greater than some 3000 to 4000 pixels wide, the results are totally scrambled.. Â
I am looking to create a collage made from 100 photos (all taken high res) to be printed large, approx 120cm x 50cm. To be able to print this size I need to keep the high resolution and hence looking for a large file output.

I tried getting rid of the glare spots by using the healing brush, smudge, and blur tools, but I'm clueless when it comes to the white spots. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have about 200 hi-res photos that need to be changed to lo-res photos, i.e., from 300 dpi to 72 dpi. Nothing else needs to be changed. The image dimensions will remain the same, although the file size, of course, will be smaller.
I have PS CS3 and Bridge. Of the various ways to do this, which is most efficient? And since I will be doing more of this in the future, should I be thinking about Lightroom?
In CS6, why the file size remains same after croping? And how do I reduce the size after each croping?
