View 2 Replies View RelatedThe issue is with Photoshop CS1 not having the same ability as every other version of Photoshop to either backup the activation information, or provide the Adobe crack CD to bypass the activation.
I sometimes have to reinstall my entire OS multiple times per month and when doing so must reinstall Photoshop. At this time, the software requires activation. Since those who purchase Photoshop are automatically volunteered to the Adobe anti-piracy program, the user must call Adobe every single time that you want to use the product. This issue has cost me easily over a few thousand dollars in company time already and I am desperate for a solution.
As a reference, CS2 & CS3 have built-in functions to backup the registration information so that you can use the software without spending a day or two on the phone.
Earlier versions of Photoshop such as ver 5.5 do not require enrollment in the anti-piracy program, so Adobe can just send the crack CD that will work with the license number that is received when the product is purchased. The last company I worked with was using 5.5 and required Photoshop to be installed on a laptop without networking abilities and that is how I learned of the crack CD from Adobe.
how to either obtain the CS1 activation crack from Adobe, or how to backup the activation information,
How can I make a wooden building front into stonework ?  I know it involves using the lasso to cut around the stone [I believe] and somehow placing the stone onto the wooden part of the building and using TYRANSFORM---but I need the steps again.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been struggling the whole day to change the color of the black crack in the attached picture to red (to match my other samples) whilst fading the crack edging (paint overrun). The best I could get was to manually dodge tool the cracks to lessen the excess paint outside of the cracks but then the dodging lessens the contrast of the crack crevice too. How to (1) locally contrast the cracks from the paint around its edges and (2) change the color of the crack from black.
I've tried playing with overlays whilst adjusting the color modes for the cracks, but I've not met with much success and I'm not sure if its my lack of knowledge of these features or if its just the wrong approach altogether. PS. I'm using CS2 (its what the office has...)
I have been trying to crack dimension annotation for ages now. I usually try to solve it within a drawing I am working on. This latest attempt is a test with only something in it to highlight the issue I am having.
Basically there is a correct annotation in model space and three viewports with three attempts to dimension it in paper space. It is drawn in the template I normally use.
Have a look at the attached.
Is is possible to simulate a part with a crack in inventor 2013? A customer had a part made and noticed there was a crack. We were asked to run an analysis on the crack to determine how much of a factor this crack has on the part. Is it simply just a matter of sketching the shape of the crack and removal of material or ??? The part is cylindrical in shape and the crack goes approximately 1/8 around the diameter of the part.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using AutoCAD 2010 and I am trying to create a wooden peg in 3D used for coat hooks. These pegs are about 3 or 4 inches long with a tapered base to fit inside a hole for mounting. The base of the peg sits flush on the wooden surface and has a wide base which is tapered to a narrow top. The top looks like a mushroom head.
View 6 Replies View RelatedYou have an image of a wooden table, but would like the table to be a bit redder. So you would select the table and use a "blend with color" tool that would work like a bucket, but instead mix the default color of the table(or the selection) with the color you pick.So you pick red and... You got yourself the same table only instead of it being wood-brown, its reddish wood-brown.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI occasionally use GIMP to burn-down parts of portraits that compete with the face. For example, bare shoulder, midriff over-light, hands over-lit.
The skin ends up looking greyish, not like less-lit skin. It works not too badly visually, as the emphasis is on the face, but fails on inspection.
I have tried the burn tool and just plain old Brightness, both on a selected area.
Well..i did'nt know where to put this. I want to recolour a wooden image but the colour overlaps its natural texture. Any solution for this?

Could I have a description of how to match the skin color of the head to the boxer's skin color?
The new CS4 skin behaves very badly for me: it doesn't refresh properly, under a variety of circumstances. Sometimes the titlebar shows the GDI skin, but the Adobe skin is the active one (so min/max/close buttons are functionally in a different location than they are visually). Today, when I go into Fullscreen with Menus mode, the menu and option bar simply grey out. Everything displays correctly in windowed mode, but not my favored mode. I try with CS4 maximized, windowed, OGL acceleration on and off. I am coming to really hate the fagility of the new skin of PS.

I currently have CS5 on a win 7 pc.
But,I couldn't figure out how to "paint back in detail" like it described, into the eyes and lips. It said something like "paint with a black brush over the blur mask to eliminate the blur in specific areas." I couldn't find a black brush; which brush is it talking about?
Also, I'd like to know how to apply this technique to just an area I've selected with the lasso tool, like her face.
I am learning how to retouch skin to achieve a more fashion, glamour look. Most online tutorials recommend using Gaussian blur and then masking the eyes. This technique is not very satisfying since details are lost completely. I have read pros dont use it ....

How do I make a girl with skin that isnt really that smooth look like this? edit: i cant imagine her skin was like that at the time of the photo. i mean that skin is realllllllllly smooth.
How do you make things appear under a human skin? No X-ray effect, no cutting-the-skin-away-and-see-what's-underneath-it kind of thing, but just so that you see the skin formed around the thing which is underneath it. Not just like pregnancies, but that the skin in pretty tight around it, for instance with (broken) bones, big veins, some horror effect where a face appears on someone's back, etc. Also different 'deepness'es at different parts, yet still in 2D.
Obviously, the object I want to have appear underneath the skin comes from another layer as the picture of the person, the 'skin owner', who is the chosen (and probably very unlucky) one.
does anyone know how this alligator skin was made?
i'm making a sig, so i need this as a background, but i don't want it
to repeat like a pattern, rather like an actual section of an alligator skin without
the beveled look of a button, but a more rounded appearance.
