i'm currently going through a variety of design for possible flyers and i have this idea of morphing the apes head into the text but i don't know how to do it...i believe i could use the clone stamp along with a few different tools but not sure...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to create a photomanipulation where my dog is standing in the forest, looking to the side, as he's starting to morph into the ground, as if he is becoming part of the forest. Basically, I want it to seem as if the bottom half of his legs are becoming of the earth and dirt, and his tail is morphing into a flower. I have yet to have my dog cooperate and let me take the picture, but the picture will end up looking a little bit like this:
I know how to get the tail to morph into a flower, but I'm kind of unclear how I want the legs to begin morphing into the grass. I still want them to maintain their shape, but seem as if the fur on his legs is becoming green grass instead.
Also, I really want to make this a little more sci-fi, so I was hoping to include visible and swirling earth energy,
anyone know of a warp-morphing plug-in? I need ti to be a mesh where I can add as many control points as needed to reshape a photograph that I've taken of a building at a low angle that I want to look like I took it straight on. The Distort feature in photoshop does not give me enough distortion points.

I'm familiar with blend shapes within a given model, but I'm wondering if there's some way to blend SEPARATE models so that one blends into another, perhaps by assigning points manually or something of the sort.
I study vertebrate development. I will be creating a bunch of 3D files based on confocal microscope data at different developmental time points, and I'd like to make a 3D model in Maya that blends these various models chronologically.
I am modeling a (simplified) human brain. I have used paint effects to draw its surface and afterwards I converted them to polygons ( Actually I used this tutorial URL.... ). Is there a possible way to convert these tube - like polygons to rectungular shapes? I want in a future step to make an animation where the brains topology transforms to walls and corridors.

If I have a mesh sphere that morphs into like a stary blob shape, Is their a way to morph only 1 half of the sphere at a time as oppossed to the whole sphere? I thought you could limit the effect to only certain faces but that is not working. I only have 1 source sphere and one target stary blob morph to work with. View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing Elements 9 I was adding black text to a .jpg image. Somehow during the process, the text being entered defaulted to a "wavy, illegible set of characters". Spent 30+ minutes looking at FAQs and have given up. I want to reset to default simple clear black characters. Closing and restarting Elements does not resolve this issue. When ending a newly entered set of text - still get "wavy, illegible set of characters!"
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am setting a book in Indesign CS2.I use "Text frame options" > align > justify on all my pages. On a page that was so justified, I inserted a picture using the "text wrap". Soon as I did, the text stopped being aligned along the foot of the page (which looks rotten, because the facing page is justified and so the spread is now no longer aligned.
I tried to I use "Text frame options" > align > justify again, but now the option to align is now greyed out.
This Q must be very old. Why can´t someone invent a sigle button for this I have tried all the things by the book but still when I try to lay text image with white background over an image the white is still there althoug I made it transparent. tried to sa for web as png-8, png-24 and gif. nothing works. To use magic wand gives bad result when applied to text? So what can I do? I am trying to place text over image. I know I could write it over the image but I need the text as a transparent layer some place else.

I really like some of the text(s) I make using the word art function in Micrsoft Excel 2010 but it seems I can't cut and paste them onto the image when using GIMP.
Is there a tutorial on putting text onto an image and making the text glow like a light saber?
I am often using text within AutoCAD 2012. Here is what I do, look at the attachments:
1. Create the text using the mtext tool
2. Explode the text using the txtexp tool
But, when I explode the text, lines appear inside the text like in the image. I then have to explode the whole thing and delete these lines manually. Any tool or add-on to get around this annoyance every time I insert text.
Here is what I want to do. I have the letters 'XC' which I've played with a bit to look the way I want and due to anti-aliasing has nice edges. Now I want to basically fill those letters with an image. I can't figure out how to do this and keep the nice anti-aliased edges.
Current steps:
1. load image as base layer
2. Create new layer with text in it
3. using magic wand select a threshold that has smoothest edges on text layer
4. select image layer and copy the selection area... notice the hard edges of the finished result in the attached example. I want it nice and smooth and anti-aliased.
How to do this more elegantly? I've attached the basics of what I'm doing and the result.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm presently trying to create a logo for my website composed of just text. It includes the url and a distinct strapline.
The problem I'm having is that using the text tool to generate an image produces pixellated text at any resolution. I seem unable to get nicely formed text with rounded edges.
I have an image and I type a large Bold font over the image....then I make it transparent, but I don't know how to cut the text out with image imbedded so that the picture is "in" the text. Then I want to erase the picture leaving just the text with the background of the text being some of the picture.

I can add text to the jpeg in the font, colo and manner that I want. Now what I'd like to be able to do is:
1) Curl the text around an object (say a head),
2) AND/OR have the text placed diagonally on the page (i.e. image).
I have a gif image of Text that I'm pretty sure I created with GIMP a long time ago (See Attachment). I want to inrease the box to create another line of Text. How can I find out what font the original is and how do I add height to the image to add an additional line of text.
The attachment is a PNG but doesn't seem to be showing up correctly. I'll try to both attach it and insert it..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've read how to fill text with an image by laying the image over the text and setting it as a clipping mask. But I want to achieve a particular effect, and my text also has a surrounding shape.
Here is a snapshot of my layers:
You can see I have a group comprising the text, and a shape layer (with stroke) to define a border. Both text and border are a mid-grey.
And I have set the group to "Color Burn" (over the image) to get an effect I like in the text. I would now like to achieve two separate things:
(a) retain just the text and border (with color burned image within), the rest as white (or transparent)
(b) retain the text and border AND the paler image within the border, everything outside the border as white (or transparent)
In both cases, it would be far preferable to keep the text as a single editable text layer, and the shape layer as an editable shape layer, so that I can tweak both later.
I'm not sure how to achieve either! The techniques I've see have the image on TOP of the text, but for my effect the image is UNDER the text.
