I guess the shortcuts are not working on Mac ?!

Jun 23, 2011I am having problems with the keyboard for adjusting the brush size (for eraser/clone stamp/brush etc) I used to use the ][ keys for this but they no longer work, i've tried just about every combination under the sun using the shift, command or alt keys but nothing seems to work.
I am constantly shifting the size of the brush up and down as I work so if I have to go and click on the brush tab every time and type in a new size it's going to make work incredibly slow. I live in spain and the mac keyboard is a spanish one but I have tried with my old keyboard that used to work fine on the old mac but not on the new one?

Aug 20, 2012Well, so far I"m zero for four in trying to get LR to let me do trivial things the way I'd like, but let's give it yet another try........
I ALREADY KNOW you can use the "[" and "]" to change the size of the spot removal circle. BUT, I'm trying to get LR to work as much like Photoshop as possible 'cause the inconsistencies on small things is a surprisingly large hit to productivity.....
In PS I can change the size of the clone or heal using Alt and the mouse. Change both size AND opacity.
Is this buried somewhere in LR? If not, is there a way for me to define this command in the translatedstrings file?

Oct 18, 2011shortcut that i can not use since two days. To redim the brush size it is possible to use the shortcut ALT + right click. This is very useful when doing painting or drawing on Photoshop. The problem is that i no longer have the possibility to use this shortcut, and i do not know why. My keyboard is correctly set up and i even reset Photoshop, but still nothing.

When I use photoshop with my tablet I can use my secondary of my pen button to quickly change size. But in gimp for mac it's a nightmare (secondary button doesn't acces brush settings) to change quickly brush sizes. Specially as a painter.

Jun 2, 2013When changing brush size in CS6, I've noticed that it is has granular resolution from 0 pixels up to around 500pixels, incrementing in size very slowly. However, above 500 pixels it increases in size very rapidly, jumping to 800, 1200, 1500 and then into the 2000s.
As most of the photos that I work on have a high pixel count I find that my ideal brush size is between 400 and 1000, occasionally I use it at around 100 pixels, and occasionally at 2500.
Is there any way of changing the scale of the brush size so that it allows greater sensitivity in the 400 to 1000 range?
Photoshop :: Brackets Not Changing Brush Size?
Jun 17, 2011i have used photoshop for years now. However, I still have CS3 or 4 still. Anyway, my brackets ( [ ] ) aren't changing the brush size any more. Instead they're changing the opacity. I can't figure out how to change it back. I desperately need it to change my brush sizes again. It takes way too long doing them manually ;)

Feb 20, 2008I have my primary tablet pen button bound to alt for the eyedropper tool, and often press [ and ] to change the brush size. Sometimes I hit alt and [ or ] together, which causes the active layer to switch up or down. It happens a lot and gets frustrating, especially if I don't notice immediately notice the active layer has changed.
The question is, how do I remove the alt+[ and alt+] bindings? They're not listed under the Edit - Keyboard Shortcut options and I can't find them anywhere else either.
I've tried a number of ways round it but the only one that remotely works is to change the brush size keys themselves.
