I'm using the "Load files into stack" script & then exporting layers with "Export layers to files..." When the images come in, the layer names contain the original file extension... ie Juliet09wIFSO_Brown.psd and when I export they end up as
Juliet09wIFSO_Brown.psd.jpg How do I modify the "Load files into stack" script so that they come in without the extension?
I installed Photoshop cs6 recently and have found painting in it extremely frustrating. When I customise a brush (for instance, turning off "transfer"/opacity), instead of allowing me to proceed with it, the brush automatically reverts to the previous settings after ONE BRUSHSTROKE!
I've tried resaving the brushes with the customisations without success- They still revert to the old settings.I'm using a Wacom Cintiq with a Windows 8 computer.
I can't figure out how to customize popup menus. In particular, if I right-click a layer in the layer panel a huge list opens, there are far too many items that inhibit my workflow. All I want to do is hide some of them.  These are some I'd like to hide:  No Color Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Violet Gray Postcard New 3D Extrusion From Selected Layer New 3D Extrusion  I hope this is not impossible.
My friends and I have a blog and we use a very nice background (see the attachments). However, we would like to customize the blog a little bit, I would like you to make a background image which has the exact same size and the one attached. Moreover, the background of the background (!!) must have the same color as the one in the attached image.
Most importantly, try to make something that is about the same as the one attached, but use your imagination to make it different and better. Try the use the same colors and keep it grunge, just the like the attached image.
I know that I ask you to make about the same image. My friends and I really like it, yet we want something different so that our blog is more...unique.
The image file size should not be more than 175KB. Image dimensions: 1400x920
I recently discovered why I've been having trouble with precise drawing with my tablet, I keep losing track of the brush cursor, that circle is just too small, same for "precise" brush cursor (cross). I tried the standard brush cursor and it was much better but it lacked precision of telling where the stroke will start. Â Is there any way to customize the brush cursor, ie. add a mouse pointer/brush icon to that small circle like it's in PaintTools SAI?
When we select File -> Open we’re presented with an Adobe designed file browser that has the files and folders on the right and a vertical bar of ‘Common Tasks’ )or Favourites) on the left. Is there a way to customize these ‘Common Tasks’? CS4 references a ‘My Documents’ folder location which is incorrect. I moved those files to a different location and I’d like to see where I can tell PS about this change. It would also be nice to add more convenient ‘Favorites’ and remove those I have no need for.
I would like to customize the names of Places as I assign them. For instance, I know that this set of pictures was take at the House on the Rock in Wisconsin. Under the "Places" tab, it's listed as 5754 State Road 23 in Spring Green Wisconsin. I'll never remember that this is the ADDDRESS for the House on the Rock, so I want to change the listing to something that will make sense to me as I use the column search function (something logical like: "House on the Rock, Spring Green, Wisconsin")  Is it possible to edit the Place tags?
I have a Canon PRO-10 printer. I made the custom size change to 11 x 14 in the driver's printer properties, but it does not show up as a choice when I open the dropdown in PSE 11. Is there no way to use custom size paper in PSE 11? What am I doing wrong?
I am able to create my own customizable brushes BUT I want more, WAY more. I want a brush capable of picking up a pixel or a few and transform it/them into a bokeh, JUST WHERE they are.
The only tutorials I found are about making brushes, customizing them to do what ever but they create the same thing all over even if different sizes, scattered or whatever. Nothing about being able to have one that selects what is underneath.
Blur radius does not work, I tried and tried and tried again. If I still have hairs it because they are too short to pull and if the walls are still standing around me it is because I am wearing a soft pillow to protect them against my aggressiveness toward them (my wife was tired of paying for repairs).
can i custmize the sort order of fiter or metadata items draging up or down? Â for example have aperture value at the begining of the list instead file type?or camera data at the top instead file properties. Â Â i guess i was able to do it with bridge cs3 or cs4 but i have no more installed.
Is there a way to customize menus or add buttons to the control bar to make repetitive operations single step. Thinking specifically of adding an import button somewhere (similar to PS Elements 2) in which the current scanning settings are stored. Presently it takes about 6 steps through the menu to accomplish this.Â
how to customize the sidebars in my Gimp program. In example the toolbox has the light grey background. I have seen this background on every tutorial and version of Gimp and it seems it is the standard. I would like to personalize these sidebars. Is there a way to alter the code or make a plug in that allows one to change this? I have thought of solid colors like the grey is, but also fading colors or even an image background could be nice.
This is not a request to customize the tool selection but the skin of the boxes themselves.
I have started my project with the Instant Project function (middle category) and I am trying to apply the Old Film filter effect to my project but I want most of the original colour to come through. Rather than have the whole thing sepia with scratches and dust, I would like it mostly colour but with scratches and dust etc.
I have clicked on the strip of film that I want to edit the filter on and clicked 'Customize Filter' in the options. From there I clicked 'Duotone' and edited the picture there to how much colour I would like to show through. The problem is, when I click 'Ok', the colour hasn't changed when I go back and replay it. It is still all sepia and not colour.
In the Default.ivb I have created a function that creates a new panel and adds some buttons in the panel.
I see the panel and the buttons, but nothing happens when I click on them.
The documentation says that in order to listen to the events of my buttons I should declare a "Private WithEvents ButDef As ButtonDefinition", but it when I try I get an error message "Only valid in object module"
Another question, still related to the events, I would expect to find a _StartUp event where I should run my function, but I can't find that event.
which kind of possibilities are to customize the Floor Shadow for an object?
Basically I would like to change the angle, and of course works the dragging of the shadow to a different place, but have to do for several objects and not sure I can do consequently on the same way with the mouse. (even with keeping the CTRL)
Is there maybe way to set this angle entering numbers?
I have used GIMP before, uploading artwork I created from it on to deviantART. However, this has been quite a while ago, back when it was GIMP 2.4 or so.
I recently just got a Wacom Bamboo tablet though, and wanted to get back into making art. I redownloaded GIMP (this time version 2.8) and while I am very satisfied with the update, there is one thing that has bothered me.
I'm not exactly a fan of the new format for the tool options of the brushes from how they used to be.
Basically, I prefer to how the tool options for the brushes were for GIMP 2.4 over the updated 2.8. Is there a way I can keep version 2.8 with the slight adjustment of having the tool options formatted the way they were in 2.4?
For me it's more of an inconvenience adjusting the brush size and whatnot, and I'm so much more used to how it was formatted in older versions.
In Lightroom 3, how do I customize the metadata panel, so I can organize the fields however I would like? It is a hassel to have to scroll through all the fields to get to the ones in which I have to import data.
how to customise your context menu to make it like some past versions of PSP, The person asking was using PSP X5 so I reset X5 to the default by holding down the shift key as I double clicked the X5 desktop icon. The X5 default layers context menu shows this:
In X3 I had the layers context menu like this:
In addition a sub context layer is present when we look at the New Mask Layer -
To start customising first Save your current workspace - File > Workspace > Save
then do View > Customise
In the Customise dialog box select Menu and under 'Select context menu' choose Layer Palette
The current Layer Context menu shows up in a new window. The Customise and Layer Palette context window can be dragged into new positions.
Any of the commands can be dragged over onto that Layer Palette context window and positioned where you want. Any of the commands already there can be dragged around to change their order or even removed by dragging out of the the Layer Palette context window. This can be a slow process to drag commands separately amd make a sub menu, so for these complex menu items there is a faster way.
Click the Layers menu item on the Menu bar , and holding the control key down drag the New Mask Layer down and into a position in the Layer Palette context menu and release. Here you can see the New Mask Layer and its sub menu have been placed in one action.
And after Closing the Customise Dialog box I can now see that the New Mask Layer context menu is working well
How to add/change/delete the menu items that appear in the drop down menus in the library? I see how you can add a new folder for Titles but not for the Transitions or Effects. Also, is there any way to change which filters appear for a particular menu selection?
I would like to add or customize my multifunction grips. For example, at a pline vertex the m-f grip allows me to stretch, add, or remove it. One thing I'ld like to add is to break the pline at that vertex. It would be faster to use m-f grips than the pull-down menu item I have.
I would love to be able to customize Inventor 2013's user interface to make it look more like the older version of Inventor. You can do that with AutoCad Mechanical. You simply change the view to "AutoCad classis" and those annoying "panel bars" go away and you get a pull down screen.Â
I use Quick Properties in static mode mostly for counting objects and quickly seeing the length of lines and polylines. These lengths are listed in feet and inches. Would it be possible to add an additional length item to the quick properties menu which shows the inches/decimal length? Would be awesome as I wouldn't then have to do the math to convert to inches.
In AutoCAD 11 the right click pop-up has clipboard and an arraow you need to slide on to get to the copy, paste, paste as block, copy with base point...Older versions had these clip board features in the pop-up and I hate having one more step to get to the clipboard features. Is there way to customize what shows up with right click?
