So as I said in the title, when my third monitor is on (which is hooked up to my i5's integrated graphics photoshop crashes a lot.
When I go to my Device Manager and disable it, photoshop workes flawlessly.My main videocard is a Radeon 6970 2gb, so it has no problems running photoshop alone. The processor seems to just get in the way.
Im looking for a tutorial on how to integrate to photos of facial features in to one.There are plenty of them doing the rounds at the moment.For example the one of bin laden/bush is an example of the work I am attempting to do.Another is one of a soccer players face coming through on shreks face.Below is a link to that pic to give you an idea of what Im looking for.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have read several post regarding dockers not locking in a 2nd monitor, and none of the answers have solved my problem. I have two monitors. My monitor on my left is a big 27" monitor and I use it as my drawing monitor. The second monitor is smaller and set to portrait on my right, and is used for my dockers. Every time I open CorelDraw I have to drag my dockers to my 2nd screen.... I have tried resetting to factory settings, I have tried saving my work space as default. Nothing is working.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Corel X5. I am designing graphics for sublimation printing. some of the graphics as seen in the program are not printing the same is what I see on screen. For instance I did a power clip process and it looks great on screen but the print preview does not reflect the graphic as seen in the program. The power clip is no longer clipped to the design. In another instance I used a fountain fill on design, the design looks great on screen and in the print preview but when printed doesn't look at all like what I designed on screen.
Most of my graphics are printing fine, its just when I have applied some special techniques that I am having problems. Is due to layers possibly?....
What is the best way to get consistent color from one monitor to another. Is that even possible?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using CorelDraw X5 and my system is Windows 7 and is a 64 bit.
Most of the time when I am drawing and go to save my file, CorelDraw X5 will freeze up (not responding) and then crash. Most of the time, I can go and restart Corel, open my file and it will have saved where I wanted it to; but sometimes it will cause me to have to use the auto-backup or just the back up file.
Windows Vista 64, corel crashes on creating new document or opening existing one. It crashes twice actually. First crash spews out this:

Both are Visual C++ related as far as I can see. I have all the Visual C++ redistributables installed and up to date.
I'm having a terrible time trying to export drawings out of X6 as EPS. Every time I do the program crashes and on many occasions corrupts the CDR file I'm working on.

I was previously working on 5 but when I pull items off of our server that were saved from my computer in version 5 it pops up a quick preview and then "Corel draw has stopped unexpectedly" However I can't just work from 5 because that's the reason why we upgraded my system to begin with. It was crashing out every 10 minutes (literally)
There's obviously a glitch here and it's starting to overwhelm me. We're on deadlines and I can't have my system crashing out. I need to be productive!
Why can't I drop a clip in the Program Monitor from the Source Monitor in Premiere? When I try to move a clip from the Source to the Program Monitor, a hand displays with the "circle with a line through it" symbol.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently experiencing a big problem when using X4 which is causing some major headaches here in the Workplace!
Whenever I hit space, paste text or do anything involving fonts I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error folowed by a non-responding dialog with force close.
I have been using X4 for some years now and not sure what has caused this issue, it was fine in the morning and stopped working in the afternoon.
I have SP2 installed and no changes have been made to any settings to cause this.
X4 is the main programme I use here at work and this problem is grinding the place to a halt.
I'm a LONG time Corel user -- back to version 4. Have been using X3 for years. Bought X5 but liked X3 better so I kept using it. (Basically only used X5 to import customer Illustrator files and PDFs that wouldn't import correctly into X3.)
Got new computer with Windows 7 and decided to upgrade to X6 64 bit. Overall it's been fine. Only using for a few days.
One thing I do are custom estimates for my clients. I keep several "stock" paragraphs of content on the desktop so I can copy and paste these into the estimate. Typically I just open an old estimate, rename it, and start the new estimate.
Opened X3 estimate in X6 and renamed it. Having some strange behaviors. The file was way too big. Should have been a couple hundred k and it was more than 4mb. Crashed several times. When I would add a page and copy content from a previous page, it would make the desktop grid printable, and I couldn't turn it off. Crashed some more.
Decided to start with a new X6 document. Copied pieces from the X3 file to make a new estimate template. File size now looks correct at a couple hundred k. Everything working fine except when I try to copy text from a paragraph box on the desktop INTO a paragraph box on the page it crashes. Not every time, but often.
I am running a Windows XP machine with Corel Draw X6 (32 Bit) and under the Trace Bitmap option, Quick Trace will work but anything under the Centerline Trace and Outline Trace options will upset Corel Draw and freeze. The program does not say "Not Responding" but no functions will work or the mouse will not change cursor and the only way to exit is to end the task.I have run updates on the program and upgraded to X6.1 but with no luck, still the same issue.

View 11 Replies View RelatedFrom time to time when saving a file the file gets corrupted. When trying to open the file, only a blank page is visible. Trying to open the file as zip says "error in packed file..." This happens several times a day (we are 5 users and this happens to everyone).
The out of memory issue is also a huge problem for us. This happens several times a day, often during printing.
Are Corel taking these issues seriously or don't you care about professional users which are dependent on reliable tools?
3 users at Win7-64, 2 at XP-32. All computers are top notch with all patches/updates installed.
When I create my merge document, regardless of how many pages, I will need to make edits to some of the text. Corel will randomly crash when I try to edit the text. Every time. I have lots of work to do and have not the time to deal with this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently got a new computer, and after installing corel on it, I've found that I am unable to open files with corel, as soon as i press the open button corel crashes, but i am able to open the files when i goto the actual file in my documents and click open in there, and i am unable to save files any way whatsoever (due to crashing isues again) i am also unable to export my artwork to a jpeg, also an immediate crash.

Computer memory is no longer the issue - 32 bit computer programs are.Until then I will stay with X4. run in Windows 7, 64 bit with 12 Gigs RAM.
cleaned up the fonts and its still crashing by simply scrolling thru to find a file to open and to make matters worse, my CS2 which hardly ever crashed now crashes just opening it. I am rather beside myself, I have an iMac running 10.6.8 with 4GB of memory. I would love to copy and paste the crash report but it's not letting me do that.

I went on line to decide which crt to buy as a replacement and was stunned to find only very low end units offered, I can not find any suitable crt choices.
I need advice as to, are lcd monitors now up to the task for quality editing in Photoshop.

I've read that the best way to shop for a new LCD is to test out each model 1st - even though I live on the border of Chicago (Evanston), I don't think there is any outlet available where this can be done.
I've also read that LCD makers use differing conditions and benchmarks to rate their contrast ratios.
I'm working on a graphic for a Flash presentation. I've been working in Windows RGB proof setup. Then I realized that when I save as a JPG, it changes color. I spent a lot of time getting the colors on this abstract piece perfect, and don't relish the thought of having to go it again using the Monitor proof setup. Is there a way to convert the way the colors look in Windows Proof to be the same as it looks in Monitor RBG proof?

I have checked all the plugs and no other programs have this problem.I have photoshop CS6 and up until just over a week ago it was working perfectly fine on both monitors.
I am using Photoshop CS4 and I just upgraded to Mavericks. When I opened PS I discovered that all the palettes that normally reside on a second monitor are now all on the same monitor with my PS document and I can’t drag them to the second monitor. It seems that PS does not recognize there is a second monitor there. I can drag documents and palettes from other applications onto this monitor so it appears to be only a PS issue.

Some LCD have presets, theater, games, etc. I want to calibrate my LCD so that if someone else is viewing my work on their monitor and they complain it is too light or to dark, I can say it is your monitor.
One of my LCD has two presets that are of interest 'standard' & 'sRGB' my other LCD doesn't have any presets. What is the best or near best calibration I can manually set both monitors too, if this is even possible on LCD.
I have a CS3 version on two computers. The color is way off on one although the monitor is calibrated. I have cross checked the preferences against each one, but can not find a difference. How to fix?
