I'm a fashion designer and i've just learned using photoshop and illustrator.so my real problems are creating textures. i'm designing a T-shirt with fadeout or stone washed looks,
I cannot fade out the sound at the end of my movie.
I have just bought VideoStudio X5 and added the SP1. On my first try, I have added a MP3 file on my silent movie, on the music track.
On this track, I have shortened the music to the end of the movie and with the sound properties panel displayed, I have click the fadeout button which is now on. But when I test my movie or when I generate a video file, the music doesn't fade out and stops suddenly at the end of the movie.
I've heard that version 2 can only be installed as a plug-in, whereas version 1 was stand alone.
I've read that the advantage of the stand alone version is that it doesn't affect memory in the same way the plug-in would when installed in Photoshop.
Just wondered whever there is a huge difference in actual extracting performance between the versions, and whever stand alone versus plug-in is relevent.
There were a lot of rumours about Microsoft trying to counter Photoshop with Acrylic. It turns out that they might be targetting the future Adobe+Macromedia entity as the Suite includes also a Flash like program, and a web design app, in addition to the graphic/vector application that would rather be a competitor to Corel Painter than Adobe Photoshop.
But wait! As seen on Creative Pro, Sony and Corel will join forces, according to their announcement of a bundle comprised of Sony Vegas video editing tools and Corel's Photopaint X, on the same day of the announcement of the release of Photoshop Elements 4 and Premiere Elements 2, both products being provided for Windows only.
It is a fact that the digital Photography and Movies business is a huge market, and most software manufacturers will try to grab as much as they can. Adobe has Photoshop's aura as a benefit, but Sony is clearly not a newcomer in the Electronic Devices market. Would they bundle Psp with their new cameras, in order to counter Adobe? Would Sony buy Corel in a near future? Add to the mix some rumors also of a Professional Photo Application by Apple... Don't forget either the millions of Camera Phones sold, with an increasing resolution. Those images will need to be enhanced and managed...
Let's look at the big players out there: Apple and Sony compete in the music market, but join forces for an Apple Keynote (the year of the HD); Apple needs Adobe to produce apps on their upcoming platform, yet Adobe ports less and less video apps on Apple, and the latest Photoshop Elements 4 is nowhere to be found on the mac platform, leveraging some more space for iPhoto. Microsoft is announced as having an Photoshop killer, ends up with a Painter competitor, and a program that goes against Flash... Microsoft fights Sony on the consoles market, each one backs a different Disk format to replace the DVD... Add to the mix that Adobe might have to resort selling some apps (to who? and let's not forget Quark!) to avoid competition with itself when the acquisition of Macromedia is over.
I am just learning photoshop after years of using Corel Photopaint. Over the years I tried Adobe but just got turned off because I thought it was non-intuitive, but now I'm on a new mac with CS2 I understand I have to just get used to it so i can have its powerful features! After days of searching, I have yet to find the answer to my biggest question...
How do you customize the toolbars?? I know how to move the windows, dock them, make them visible/invisible, etc. But how can you add new buttons to them? I'm used to having every function that I use often right there, one mouse-click away, instead of nested inside of some menu. Like a save button for instance. Or copy and paste.
I have Illustrator and Photoshop CS. Couldn't find any but still hoping one comes with either. CAPTURE (a screen capture utility).Corel CAPTURE: Enables several methods of image-capture It lets you capture a target area, small or large.
Does anyone know if Photoshop CS3 will import a Photopaint .cpt file. We are thinking of switching from Photopaint to Photoshop & have a large number of files that we would still need to have access to. There are way too many of them for us to open each one in Photopaint and then export as a psd.
I am using CS4 64 bit. I just installed Corel knockout 2 and the extra goodies from the install cd to get the exclude filter. Neither of them are visible after the install. Has anyone successfully installed these using CS4?
Our company is changing over to Adobe CS5.5 fron Corel X4. I have hundreds of detailed knocked out photo's that were masked in PhotoPaint X4. What is the best way to be able to open these in Photoshop and retain the exact mask?
For example, I have project A and project B, they represent two videos. I want to combine the two projects and export into one video.
I have tried exporting two videos from the two projects independently, and import the two videos into a new blank project and export again, but the quality is not very good.
I downloaded VS X5 and I want try NewBlue FX, but when I download trail of NewBlue, the installation ask me where install the plugin ! But normally it's automatic ? perhaps it's NewBlue whoes isn't available for X5,
I just upgraded to X6. Connect show thumbnail of CDR files, but none of SVG clipart, neither CPT files.
I have Corel Graphic windows shell extension installed. Actualy the problem is the same with windows explorator, I can see thumbnails of CDR files, but none of SVG neither CPT files. I thought Connect could allow me to see those thumbnail.
it was the same problem with connect X5.
What could I do to see the CPT and SVG thumbnails ?
When we go to use the clip art in connect all the clip art images are boxes with an x in the middle and you have to physically open each one to see what the clip art is. Â Are missing something here, do we have to click on something to view the images in the file without having to open each image. Â
I wanted to make a gameplay, with voice-over, but every time I try to render the project, the Videostudio crashes (When I try to reder it as MPG/MP4/WMV, it crashes at 4%, when I try to render it as avi, it crashes at 91%) SP1 installed. Video files and audio files:
Note: The first Windows shows the bandicam-video properties, and the second one shows the screen capture properties. (*recorded)
My hardware informations are on my profile. The Event Viewer (or something like that, I have hungarian windows) says this:
I tried everything, Even recording my screen while playing the project. But the video was lagging.

I open a GIF that has a transparent background, resize it and save it back. At no time is there any prompt re transparency but it no longer has a transparent background. Why is that? And, how do I ensure that transparency is maintained?
Can't seem to get even the simplest CoreCad file to export to Designer X5. It appears to go through the conversion process, and then comes up "failed"Â
