Photoshop :: Text Problem With Fractions Attached Copy
May 10, 2006I am a rookie so please be easy on me. I have been having a problem with entering fractions into simple text. Sometimes the fraction downsizes itself to the height of the other text, as I would like it to, and sometimes it doesn't. See example below, what am I doing wrong?
1 ¾” tall, 3 3/8” deep and 4 ½”

Nov 24, 2011I'm preparing plans for individual land owners. I know I need to filter parcels "by hand", center, zoom, scale etc. I'm using labels to get parcels numbers on the plan but I have to add name into title block. I don't want to use feature labels because concat function does not work (I need to show parcel number) plus the name I need to put on is quite long (it doesn't fit in the drawing).
My question is: Is there a way to put text into drawing / title block from attached table or from feature properties of shp or sdf files?

Nov 7, 2013I am attaching text to a path, but on the bottom of the ellipse, the text is upside down in relation to the text at the top of the ellipse. I am going nuts to try and resolve this. I have CD6 The Official Guide at my side, and no luck.

Nov 10, 2012How can I go back and edit text? I tried going back and editing the text I had, but the entire text disappeared.
I'm using a text effect, I need to edit the text itself while still maintaining the effect.
I don't want to start over and repeat the lengthy process of making the same effect again with new text.

Nov 30, 2005I am trying to create text with an outer glow to contain an image or texture and then putting another text layer on top. A clipping layer does not include the outer glow however. I also tried using a text mask but with the same results, any suggestions?

Dec 12, 2008I'm trying to do the mirror layer effect(vertically) so it looks like the image is being reflected on a shiny floor. With images I'm fine but I can't get around using text with color or effects.
when I use text together with effects like "gradient overlay" with ex. rainbow color it doesn't flip the colors, only the text(yellow on the top on both layers) (look at the picture)
It doesn't matter if the layer is text or rasterized...
Can I "attach" layer effects and colors to the copied layer or do something to get around this?

Nov 6, 2006i've been using this little tutorial to try and design a logo for some friends, but i've got to the stage 6 as it is listed on there, and my hidden layer gets discarded when i try and convert from grayscale- to indexed colour, i get the message "flatten visible layers and discard hidden layers",
I can either click okidily dokidily or no, and the latter it just brings me back to where i was a few seconds ago.
