the shortcut in the mac version (CS6) for in-/decreasing the font size is apparently "Cmd + Shift + >".shortcut for windows versions? I can't find anything in the shortcut overview.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI find myself in the unfortunate position of having to resize a lot of text by one point size. So I wanted to find the key command for decreasing the text size by 1 point. I found several things online that worked... except they decrease it by TWO points. Not one. They are:
Command Shift <
and
Command Shift .
Both work... except they decrease the font by 2 point sizes. How can I make it go down only ONE point size?
PS I'm using CS4. And I can't select all the text because I need some of it to stay as is... while reducing the size of other text. Oh, and I'm on an iMac.
I just upgraded to CS6 and my font size and leading shortcut on a Mac (Shift + CMND + >) will only increment by one pixel. How can I change it back to two?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI'd have thought (since this has been a problem since 9 and that HD displays are fairly common now) it would have been addressed. I still can't find a way to increase the font size in PE 11, though. Am I missing something? It seems the menu fonts have increased in size in proportion to what Windows font size I'm using, but all the other fonts in PE 11 are still too tiny to read meaning (unless I am missing something) the software is still unusable (unless I sacrifice resolution).
View 2 Replies View Relatedi've managed to layer a scanned drawing (and edit it and all) over the given template... but when i drag it over, it's HUGE. so of course, i haev to decrease the size so it fits on the t shirt template...
and when i decrease the size, it gets grainy and pixilated... and i can't have that happen! especially on a t shirt design... it's supposed to be a a solid, single line...
I made a huge mistake when I began my latest design project. I made it too large. Now, I need some help to decrease the size. Even if the quality of the image will get alot worse. View 6 Replies View RelatedI would like to be able to create a box around text that is able to resize when increasing/decreasing font.
My working solution is to create a text box with text then use direct selection tool to select the anchors and convert that into a shape, either a rectangle or rounded rectangle. This isn't bad since it allows an equal amount of space around the text but it does have problems. If the font size increases or decreases, the box remains the same. I have to use the Area Type Option to resize the box. Also, if I wanted to do this for lots of boxes then I have to select all of the individual anchors which will be time consuming.
I'm currently working on a model where I'm subjecting a vertical wire (5 micron radius, 20 micron height) to a transverse load. I made an assembly of a 18 micron length section and a 2 micron length section, so that I can apply my force to the 2 micron tip, while leaving the bottom face of the wire fixed. I am trying to find the minimal force needed to fracture the wire (i.e., altering the force until the max stress hits the material's ultimate tensile strength). However, I've realized that decreasing the mesh size drastically changes my results, Obviously, decreasing mesh size should increase the accuracy of the results. Instead, by decreasing the mesh size, I actually am diverging from my results.

I looked at the File menu and there's nothing wrong with the shortcut key. I also tried pressing CMD+SHIFT+S (which is the real Save As shortcut) and it works fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe are overlaying a word or two on jpg's. In the settings bar along the top, the font is set to 8pt.That has worked seamlessly, for some time. Suddenly, though the pt setting is not changed, the actual text over the photo is larger - much too large to fit. But changing the pt setting to a lower number still results in something too large.
is the sudden change in outcome, when there has been no change in the setting. And no ability to get a correct font size.This is in Ps CS4, on Mac 10.6.8. I have checked the font in Font Book (Myriad Pro), and no corruption appears for the font.
I have fonts that I've installed in both my Windows XP and Windows 7 PCs. They show up in the Control Panel - Fonts and open, they show up in Word, but do not show up in Photoshop CS4. I see in the CS4 Mac forums that there is a way to register a font in CS4, but I can find nothing on doing that on a Windows PC.

In AI CS6, pressing Command+Shift+Option+F on the keyboard, while text is active, hilights the Font Field in the Character Panel... not so in AI CC. I can open CS6 on the same file and it works... For example, I have a drawing located in a Windows folder called 'Appraisal Maps', the drawing contains 2 paperspace layouts, one of which is named Show Me Stakes. I would like to have a Windows shortcut of the drawing inside of a Windows folder called 'Staking-Show Me', so that when I double click the drawing it will open up and automatically switch to the proper paperspace layout.
I am wanting this for two reason, 1) so that we do not create multiple drawings and actually use the power of autocad layout tabs and layer management. 2) so that when management opens up the drawing it goes directly to the proper layout minimizing their head scratching as to what is going on.
Does the font interface in Photoshop show big enough in Windows 7?
I purchasde a new Pc with Windows 8, and the Photoshop and Bridge Interface is not readable, it is miniscule, Adobe, Microsoft and DEll cannot fix problem. So I am returning my PC, and need to purchase a new one, if the font is big enough, say size 12 or 14 (normal size) on window 7?
I haven't use none of font manager yet but start to feel need for it. Usually i just "install" font on system.

when I create a template, and start dimensioning, the font size are always set to the default (.2) is there a setting to choose to make the font size relative to the size of dwg so that I do not have to increase the size of the fonts each time I do a dimension or any text.?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI really like the new font anti-aliasing modes in Windows, but i got one big problem: If i rasterize text its gets a bit thicker and lose all it's touch.
Here's an example: (rendering was: sharper. the top one is the non-rasterized text. looks a lot better). Test it on your own... just zoom into your type and rasterize it, then you see how its gonna change.
