View 10 Replies I am working in a studio who have photoshop cs5 extended. I would like to use the 3d for a project but the menus are greyed out? I have checked the preferences and turned on Enabled openGL Drawing. The Advanced settings can only be basic (others greyed). The care used in the machine is NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT OpenGL Engine and the Mac spec is below..
2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
8 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro1,1
Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
I have CS6 Extended, and while I can use some 3d features, the options are not available. I've removed and reloaded PS, the graphics driver has been updated, removed completely and then reloaded, but nothing works even though I have never actually gotten a warning that the card isn't supported. It is supposed to be compatible with OpenCL but this isn't available for some reason.
The graphics card has vram of 512, with 503mb available according to PS. In preferences-performance, "use graphics processor" is checked. In the advanced button, "use graphics processor to accelerate computation" is checked, but "use openCL" is grayed out. I've tried unchecking it, restarting the program, and then turning it back on, along with all other forms of "turn it off-turn it back on". The screen resolution is 1366x768, if this matters.
Here are the specifics:
Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x32
Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1
System architecture: AMD CPU Family:15, Model:0, Stepping:1 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2
Physical processor count: 4

This graphics card should be enough to work with the 3d of PS, but it isn't, and I've looked at everything that I can find trying to figure this out.
Photoshop CC The 3D Menu is greyed out so no options are able to be selected. If I try to use the 3D Window (Window>3D) then I get a message about enabling "Use Graphic Processor" even though its already enabled. I wanted to try out CC before upgrading for CS6 - And certainly will not be buying a new system just for 3D Option in CC (will stick with CS6)

I would like to Smart Sharpen the white type in a green 8-bit .GIF image.
I have Saved it AS a .PSD file but all the Filter menu options stay grayed out.

I cannot get an animated gif I save with GIMP to save with 'one frame per layer (replace)' because GIMP won't allow me to choose that! all the 'animated GIF options' are grayed out.

I haven't changed any settings, and as far as I know it's been like that since the initial install.
The option is there... can't click it...
I'm running Win 7 Pro 64-Bit with 32G Ram and a core i7.... so my specs shouldn't be the issue
I have CorelDraw X4... I created a design like I always do, but I can't print. All the "Print" options are grayed out and won't let me use them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe options window will not display when typing "options" in the command line or selecting from the drop down. The options menu has to be hidden somewhere because AutoCad will not allow any other commands after typing options until I hit escape. I have tried restarting CAD and rebooting my computer with not luck.

I have checked and my vRAM is 512mb which seemed to be the biggest source of this problem for other people, but my 3D tools are still greyed out. I have converted the working file from CYMK to RGB and the 3D tools have become available.

In Performance settings I have checked to use the graphic processor and in Advanced settings the drawing mode either Basic, Normal or Advanced, it doesn't make a difference.
I just tried to create a 3D postcard and got this message: why the 3D doesn't work and what can be done about it?Here is a fragment of System Info regarding the display driver. The line with OpenCL Version is empty, although I have checked "Use OpenCL", could this be a problem?

I do have some issues with the inverse selection. Once I finished using "Pen Tool" and all dots have been connected I go to Select-Inverse to select the image but unfortunately the"Inverse" is grayed out. I remebere having this issue few years ago . I did called the Adobe Tech Support and have been navigated to the program folder to replace some of the files that have been corrupted. After that everything was working fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having difficulty getting the 3D features to work in Photoshop CC. They're grayed out and I have updated drivers, uninstalled/installed, etc. I'm hoping I just missed something and don't need to upgrade something as it is a work computer (on Windows 7 Professional). I'm pretty new to the Adobe programs and would like to explore the 3D features.

I have a .tif file from a camera.
It has not been worked on in PS.
It has no selections, no layers, etc.
When I select filters, all the options,
including sharpen are grayed out.
How can I get access to the various filters?
My problem is that I have a layer in CS3 which is a rasterized layer with text in it. I am trying to apply a filter under the 'Distort' section but the ONLY one that I can select is the 'Lens Correction', every other filter in 'Distort' is grayed out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a reflection effect as noted on one of the team photoshop tuts. Unfortunately, in one of the steps, I'm supposed to use transform > perspective on a layer, but that option is grayed out!
(Windows, photoshop 5.0) The help menu says it'll be grayed out unless the "entire path is selected." Damn, I just got used to layers....what's this Path stuff? Why isn't it mentioned in the tut instructions?
Import scanned JPG, trace over lines, make colour mask, then just fill in appropriate colours.
Now my next step would be to use hue/saturation to make all the shadows and shading etc, but the hue saturation option is grayed out on the menu
Glowing Edges filter. It's grayed out. So I opened a number of different files and noted that it's always grayed out. I also noted that other filters are grayed out intermittently.
How do I access these grayed out filter?
when I downloaded the update, it said that I must have Mask Pro installed. This problem started about 1 week ago, and I downloaded the most recent Adobe update today.
