View 1 Replies View RelatedI open Photoshop cs2 the product registration window pops-up. I registered the product but it still pops-up every time I open Photoshop. I tried clicking the Do Not Register button and I even reinstalled Photoshop now but that damn screen keep coming back every time I open Photoshop. Any idea how to get rid of the product registration screen.
PS: Version: CS2 9.0
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (No service pack)
I have installed CS2 on a new computer running Vista Ultimate. When I first opened the program, a screen presented requesting me to Register. I completed it, submitted it, they thanked me and I and was offered two premiums, an Adobe font or a limited subscription. Now, everytime I launch CS2 I get the same screen after the "home" page is displayed. I can "not register" or "next".How can I eliminate the reappearance of this screen?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just installed CS2 on a new computer with Vista home premium and the registration screen comes up ever time I open the program. I have had CS2 on my old desktop computer and laptop using XP with no problems. The program works fine after I get the registration screen out of the way, but it is a nuisance.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Adobe Photoshop CS3 10.0.1.

When launching, the window labeled "Adobe Design Suite Premium CS3" opens - it's only filled with white, and no text or graphics (I think it's usually the window asking me if I want to register, which always comes up when I launch the program (rather annoying in itself). However, now it seems that the launch gets "hung" on this window, as, even the the program starts, all the menus are grayed out, and I can't open any files or do anything. Also, the window mentioned above only has the yellow "minimize" button available in the top left corner, so I can't close it or otherwise get rid of it. Since even the Quit function is grayed out, I have to quit the program with a force quit. Also, this same thing happens in my other CS3 programs (In Design) as well.

I tried trashing the photoshop plist file (com.adobe.photoshop.plist) and also the com.adobe.118.registration file, which had no effect.
I boughtLightroom 5 and can't register. The back of the box containing the disk has an eight digit number on but the screen for registration only allows for six digits, How do I register?

View 3 Replies View RelatedHow the PMS color palettes "simulate" on screen how the color will print on different substrates (glossy vs matte vs uncoated paper). That's great for comps, but if you convert it to CMYK to print it, and the values are representing a "simulated" color it won't look correct (by that I mean come close to matching the spot color). For example, the uncoated palette simulates the color by making them appear a bit washed out on screen - pretty good visual simulation. But it might do so by adding black and cyan to orange for example, etc. - effectively dulling the original color.
So if I convert that to CMYK within the new Pantone + color palette, and then send it to the printer - it won't appear as it did on screen, it will dull the end color even more because it's converted the color to the dull simulated version - what a disaster! It's only doing half the job - showing us what it should look like on screen. In order to be truly efficient for design professionals the CMYK conversion might remove black and cyan completely to effectively brighten the color in the final output on uncoated paper. I would prefer it just stick to the standard conversion, which Pantone did have as a standard palette option (PMS to process), and then I can adjust if I think it's necessary.

Any corporate branding system will likely start with a PMS spot color palette for the identity. Then it will build into many different adaptations - full color brochures, large format banners and trade show graphics, website, advertising. So any corporate branding system will need to have PMS, CMYK and RGB versions of their main corporate color palette. There was a standard for these translations that was automatically consistent in the Adobe software and that is now all over the place, so it relies on individuals manually adapting the color mixes for final use - what a great way to screw things up.
I recently loaded my photoshop CS2 onto a new computer and everytime I open a photo the registration box pops up. I checked with Adobe by phone and I am registered, but the box still comes up every time.I cna't find it in any of my program files.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to CS3 on Windows XP and every few days I am prompted to register. I registered twice and then spoke with Customer Service who could not see the registration so they manually registered me. Since then the registration screen appeared again and I registered a third time.
I just spent 4 1/2 hours on the phone going back and forth between Adobe Customer Service and Photoshop support. Customer Support wants me to return CS3 and buy it again under a different customer number. Support wants me to uninstall all Adobe products, delete the registry branch under HKLMSOFTWAREAdobe, delete all Adobe content under "Program Files" and under "Documents and Settings", create a new user account, add that new user to the Administrators group, then reinstall all Adobe products using that new user account.
I asked support where Photoshop CS3 records the registration information and was told that since CS3 is a new product, they do not have that level of technical information.
Has anyone else had a registration problem with CS3 on XP?
where the registration information is stored? If it is stored in the registry, I should be able to manually enter the keys and data.
I recently had to replace my computer. So I went with a 64 bit machine with Vista 64bit. My reinstall of CS2 went well (upgrading to a 64 bit version will have to wait but not too long I hope:-). Activation was OK; registration said it succeeded as well. But every time I start Photoshop it says I have not registered it and it asks me to do it again. I have tried to complete the form three times now and it always says it succeeded. Then the next time I start I bet the registration dialog box again. What can I do to satisfy CS2?

When I do, can I just type in the serial # to register the versions already on my system, or do I have to install the new versions? I am concerned about loosing the work that I have already done in Lightroom 2.

Within Photoshop a user can view our registered serial number copy it down and use it elsewhere.
Is there anyway to protect/hide our serial number?
I am guessing not, in which case is it possible to have activation for our serial number via phone only adn we have a verbal password?
I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4)Â you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.

I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it from my original disc but the same problem still exists. How do I solve the problem of being "locked out" of the application as I am also locked out of work as well ?

Upgrading to a later version is not an option at this point.
