Other than the Adobe Photoshop apps what is the best Android App for viewing .psd files? All the Adobe ones lock you into using the Creative Cloud which I don't want to use as I have my files on Google Drive.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had to make a new system. and now ..after installing PS CS..I cannot see thumbnails of the files. I normally see them and see thumbnails for JPEG..but not the PSD's with a newer version of PS. I remember reading about this bug..and a reg setting some time ago...anyone know what it takes to fix this..? (my win pro media has ALL updates and is legal..just bought it)

Do i have to install the old PS 7.0 to see them..?
Being an architectural photographer I create a lot of layered files with many exposures with different lights on and daylight separately. I always save my layered files in a folder called Layered files in the project. I also save flattened 8 bit Tif's at full resolution for my client as a print file in a separate folder along with another folder for web and device optimized files. When my client opens some of my flattened files they tell me the only see one layer. When I open some of them in Preview I get the same result. I only see the last layer I put into my layered file. But when I open the same photo in Bridge I see the full flattened file as I saved it. What can I do about that?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had a client send me over some information about a site we have out in the middle of nowhere, Australia, and they've sent over the info in a bunch of .shx files. The types are shown as Shape Source and Compiled Shape. So, is there a way for me to change the .shx files to .dwg or .dwf files without downloading a piece of software for $150-250USD without knowing if it really works? I've looked through the forums, but I don't want to convert the files from .shx to .shp, I also tried a couple of trial downloads for converters, but for some reason have only found downloads for 32bit machines, whereas I'm working with a 64bit machine, or they don't do what they say they do.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have many PDF slideshows and PDF images. It seems that Lightroom will not read PDF files though... I recall that Bridge can read PDF files. I believe it would be a useful addition to LR to enable the viewing and cataloguing of PDF files.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I save files as a pdf in Illustrator, or receive files from other people the image loses it's colour.
All colour is just black. I'm attaching a screen shot so you can see what I mean, the colours here are supposed to be a shades of a PMS colour, but instead they're all black.

I am trying to open and edit RAW images shot on my new Canon T41 Rebel. Will not open.Tried to convert using Adobe DNG Convertor. Did not work. Is there a way without upgrading to CS6?
CS 6 currently won't read CR2 RAW Files from the new Canon 6D. Camera Raw 7.3 won't see it. The reader that came with the camera leaves something to be desired even though you can shift the results over to PS (as a .tiff file). I run a Mac running under Mac OS 10.7

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am running a mac on os x and Photoshop 5.1 . I just purchased a canon rebel 550d (T5i I think) It will not see any of the images. This must be an Adobe issue as the MAc finder and preview sees the images.
SO I have downloaded and tried to install various camera raw updates. 5.1 5.7 6.1 6.4 7.1 7,3 nothing seems to work indeed one of them failed to open. ver 6.1 will not open as an error code comes up. this error code relates to not being elligable for the version, yet it says cs 5. cs 5.5 and 6 are worthy.
I have a Canon camera that I use to shoot CR2 raw files but find I cannot open them in CS3 Photoshop or Bridge. I get the message that it does not recognise this type of file.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't open CR2 files from my Canon EOS Rebel XSI. I get the warning "Photoshop cannot open this file. If you are attempting to open a raw file from a digital camera, make sure you have the latest Camera Raw update installed via > Help > Updates."
So I go to Help >Updates and update, but then get the warning that "Some components of the following products could not be updated." Listed is the PS icon and a plugin icon.
I have Lightroom and PS.
The app manager shows it has updates and when I start the update it tells me to quit app manager which in turn terminates the update download.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought a Canon 450D camera and have noticed that the RAW CR2 images produced are not compatible with my Photoshop CS2 version. I'm not sure about upgrading to the latest version of Photoshop since I probably wouldn't use all the features but I would probably upgrade to Elements 7. Is Elements 7 completely compatible with my Canon CR2 files and has anyone else used this combination and been impressed with the results?
