I have recently bought a Canon 450D camera and have noticed that the RAW CR2 images produced are not compatible with my Photoshop CS2 version. I'm not sure about upgrading to the latest version of Photoshop since I probably wouldn't use all the features but I would probably upgrade to Elements 7. Is Elements 7 completely compatible with my Canon CR2 files and has anyone else used this combination and been impressed with the results?
I am trying to import CR2 files from my canon 450D into Lightroom 5. Lightroom says 'preview unavailable for this file'. I cannot get past this. I have tried importing directly from the camera, and also from an external hard drive that I managed to download the photos onto. Also I am working on a Mac.
I just bought a Canon 50D and shot my first batch of RAW images - only to find ACR would not open the images. I had no problem with my previous cameras: Canon Rebel Xsi & 20D. I use CS4
Does anyone have an explanation of why this is & how I might fix it.
I have heard that the new Photoshop CC uses a new file system that is not compatible with older versions of Photoshop so you can only edit them in the new Cloud version of Photoshop CC.
CS6 illustrator and photoshop not allowing me to open documents due to different reasons...damaged files, badly formatted, not compatible etc. However, these files were all created on the same computer and program therefore should be compatible. Is there a way for me to fix these files/prevent this from happening in the future?
I have a NAS device on my home network that I am using to host my video content. The videos are played from a Windows PC, an iPhone and an XBox 360. I need the videos to be high quality and viewable from all three devices.

I have 2014 Inventor Professional at my home and I am working on a project. I would like to work on it at work on 2013 Inventor Professionl. Is there any way I can make my 2014 file open on Inventor 2013?
My Photoshop CS3 will not open Raw Files from Canon EOS 5D Mark 11. I have downloaded Camera Raw 4.6 but the message is... Photoshop does not recognize this type of file.
I am trying to open and edit RAW images shot on my new Canon T41 Rebel. Will not open.Tried to convert using Adobe DNG Convertor. Did not work. Is there a way without upgrading to CS6?
CS 6 currently won't read CR2 RAW Files from the new Canon 6D. Camera Raw 7.3 won't see it. The reader that came with the camera leaves something to be desired even though you can shift the results over to PS (as a .tiff file). I run a Mac running under Mac OS 10.7
I am running a mac on os x and Photoshop 5.1 . I just purchased a canon rebel 550d (T5i I think) It will not see any of the images. This must be an Adobe issue as the MAc finder and preview sees the images.
SO I have downloaded and tried to install various camera raw updates. 5.1 5.7 6.1 6.4 7.1 7,3 nothing seems to work indeed one of them failed to open. ver 6.1 will not open as an error code comes up. this error code relates to not being elligable for the version, yet it says cs 5. cs 5.5 and 6 are worthy.
Just got a new vista home computer 64 bit. With my old 32 bit vista I could view raw and tiff files in windows file explorer. With my new box, I cannot view them.
I have a Canon camera that I use to shoot CR2 raw files but find I cannot open them in CS3 Photoshop or Bridge. I get the message that it does not recognise this type of file.
I just bought a Canon 6D. I have elements 6 and it does not support the raw files from this camera. Does Elements 12 support the raw files from the Canon 6D?
I'm unable to find an update that will allow me to open Canon 5d Mark III raw files in CS4. I've downloaded a few updates, but nothing seems to be working.
I am trying to edit photos in the raw CR2 format I took with my Canon T1i. I cannot get the new Photoshop CC to open them. I think I need a plug in to do this but cannot find out where to download the plug in. Please send a link to the plug in 5.4 for windows and how to download it so i can finish editing the photos I have.
I can't open CR2 files from my Canon EOS Rebel XSI. I get the warning "Photoshop cannot open this file. If you are attempting to open a raw file from a digital camera, make sure you have the latest Camera Raw update installed via > Help > Updates."
So I go to Help >Updates and update, but then get the warning that "Some components of the following products could not be updated." Listed is the PS icon and a plugin icon.
Get the following error message: "Could not complete your request because this version of Photoshop does not supply the services required by this plug-in module."
I have updated to the 2.4 camera raw plugin and placed it in C:Program FilesAdobePhotoshop CSPlug-InsFile Formats. When I go into CS to help->about plugin -> there are two camera raws that show up. The first is labeled 3.7 (2007) and the other is labeld 2.4 (2005). Not sure where the 3.7 version is coming from, but also not sure if it matters.
What do I need to do to get CS to enable the reading of the Digital Rebel XT raw files?
I have a Canon EOS 500D camera. When I try and open the .CR2 file in Photoshop CS4 I get the following message “Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document”.I have installed all of the possible adobe updates. The .cr2 files do open in the canon software. It is as if the properties of the files are not correct but as I have said the file opens fine with the canon software.
I recently traded in my Canon T3i for a T4i, and now PS Elements 10 won't open the CR2 RAW files from this camera. According to "Help - Plug In" I have V 6.7, so I went to the Adobe site which said I needed V 7.1, which I download, and extracted, but it won't install it in the software; when I click on the extracted AdobePatchInstaller application, I get a message stating "Update Failed" and "this patch is not applicable for you". Also, when I click "Help-Updates" it tells me everything is up to date.
I am currently using a trial version of Elements 11 which has camera raw ver.7.3.071. I can not see any previews of raw files in the organizer or editor for the Canon G15. I can however import the raw file and then open it to view or edit it. Without the preview option, browsing for your photos is impossible.
