Nov 5, 2013New CC is locked up after trying to install Topaz filters. CC responds to no mouse clicks at all. Was able to install NIK filters OK.

Jan 26, 2013I just started experiencing issues with the PS CS6 Save for Web dialog window. It is very slow to respond to mouse clicks. I use Creative Suite 6 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with a Gen 3 Core i7, 12GB of ram and a 3GB Nvidia 670m video card so I know it's definitely not hardware related.

Jul 29, 2013Problem: When doing a series of rapid mouse clicks, Autocad does not always register the clicks. For example, I'll use move, and when clicking on a line to move, it wont' see that I clicked on the line. I also notice that my crop box does not always work to select objects when i'm going fast. some times it does not show, others is goes to random points on the screen while still selecting the areas i've clicked in.
I've only noticed this problem when I'm in "the zone" and am clicking very fast, when I go slow, it picks up the clicks. its very frusterating knowing that I can't work as fast as I can without having the click input issue. I mostly notice this problem with commands like, erase, trim, move, and extend.
I do have my system set up for right mouse click as 'enter' via the autocad options, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
- It is not the computer system ( I recently got an upgrade at the office )
- Its not my mouse. I've tried several mice, and at home, in games and such, I don't get the fast click issue.
- I've changed the double click speed in the control panel when opeing folders, but no luck.
- its not an OS issue, happens in both XP and Win7, and shouln't be a computer hardware issue, considering I just jumped from a P4 to a new Haswell system.
- I don't know if it happens on other versions of autocad
Lightroom :: 5.3 Loses Mouse Clicks
Jan 1, 2014LR 5.3 loses mouse clicks, caused my mouse to act erratically, and often "blinks off" for an instant.I'm running it on a Windows 7 machine with 9GB memory.
Catalog has 30K files this started happening with LR 5.2.I've been using LR for years, so i know what a performance problem looks like.

Dec 16, 2012Looking for any solutions for a problem that has been going on for some time and have systimatically changed configuations, reloaded drivers, etc. Here is the paticulars. PC with dual core processor, 4gb ram, os XP sp3, PS cs3, Lightroom 3.6. When I launch PS or LR the Wacom tablet get realy jerky responding and lags in responding to input.

Mar 20, 2013I am using Lightroom 4.3 64 bit. My PRINT module is responding slowly or not at all. I had been using Lightroom 4 upgraded from Lightroom 3 with no issues for some time. I did upgrade to Windows 8 and noticed no issues with Lightroom. Recently however, my PRINT module started responding slowly to print settings and commands...with "Lightroom - PRINT is not responding". This issue started gradually and has increased over time. Making it almost impossible to print now.

Xara :: Photoshop Filters Not Working And Removing Demo Filters
Jan 31, 2011I have hardly ever used filters for any of my work as I have preferred using Xara's native tools and effects to get what I wanted. But recently, I was inspired by some animation work which used backgrounds painted in Photoshop. They used a lot of textures which enhanced the look of the animation and so I thought I'd try to simulate it within Xara.
It works very well and I can export it as a PSD retaining the layers and Alpha channel. But here come my questions.
1. How can I remove the two Alien Skin demo plugins as I already have the full versions.
2. Why don't the native Photoshop plugins--Artistic, Sketch, etc.--seem to work?

This works great for PS filters (e.g., oil paint) and NIK filters. However when I export > render video with a Topaz filter (e.g., Simplify 4 > Painting II) the process goes through the motions, I see the topaz function being called on each frame but after rendering the output .mp4 file doesn't have the Topaz effects applied.

Nov 16, 2013I open an image from LR5 into CS6 and then apply Topaz Adjust 5 filter. I make my alterations in Topaz and save back to CS6. The resulting image in CS6 is markedly different to that shown in Topaz.
I have tried making the image 8 bit instead of 16bit in Photoshop before calling up Topaz but to no effect. The image rendered back in PS is lower contrast and less clarity, loosing many of the enhancements from Topaz. This seems to apply especially to monochrome effects. I can't see how to go straight from Lightroom to Topaz as Topaz only appears to be a plugin for CS6 and don't know if this would work anyway.
Photoshop :: Mac Lion Topaz Labs Plugin Bundle
Apr 16, 2012I installed per the dmg. The Topaz Labs site says the plugins install into the HD/Library/Application Support/ Topaz Labs folder. When you look in the PS CS5 Plugins folder the aliases of all the plugins are there and Get Info says they're in the above location .
I've used them in PS CS5, they work without problems. The installer was supposed to find all Photoshop apps and install into them. It installed in CS2 and PS Elements 4, but not in PS Elements 10. I emailed Topaz support a week ago and have had no response. I decided I'd try just copying the aliai into PS Elements 10 and see if it worked. Alas, lo,voila, que pasa. There is no Topaz Labs folder in Application Support. There is no Topaz Labs folder in the Adobe folder or its sub folders in Application Support. Mac Lion 10.7.3 .
I tried looking in the Library folder of my Users folder as well. No dice. I can't understand why the Get Info would say the alias points to Application Support/Topaz Labs when it doesn't exist there, and where the heck is the folder anyway, since the plugins actually work.
