View 8 RepliesHow can I add a logo to a very good realistic inage of a golf ball. Ideally the image would flow right down into the "dimples". But I would be happy if I could simply get the logo image to kind of wrap around the ball a little. Does anyone know of a tutorial around that would help me to understand how to do this ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI read a little about using the displace filter to do what I want but could not get it done properly.
I have a nice "golf ball" image. and I want to put a logo on it and have the logo image flow right down into the dimples like it would be on a real golf ball.
I'll attach the images I'm woking with. If you can give me a step by step procedure I would really appreciate it. I need to get this done but I would also like to understand how to do it so I can be a better photoshop user in the future.
May I know how to pattern the ball in BALL SCREW assembly?

So far I have been able to get the IAcadTableStyle object from the acad_tablestyle dictionary, but there is no property for text style. Is this even possible? Code and results are below.
(defun DumpTableStyles ()

(setq TableStyles (vla-item dict "acad_tablestyle"))

how to use Civil 3D to create a grading plan for a solar PV site or a golf course?
Here is the situation. We have a large 100 acre site that is not flat. We want to do minimal grading to "smooth out the surface". So that maximum slope on the site is 10%. The site does not have to be graded completely flat. We are trying to work with the existing contours and terrain as much as possible.
Is there some functiion or some way for Civil 3D to "smooth out a surface"? We want to work with the existing slopes and contours of the site and just need a grading plan that will smooth out mounds, holes, or high slope areas.
For labels, is the font decided in the general tab under text style or in the text component editor under the format tab? Are there overrides? There seems to be multiple locations for fonts choices when creating a label and I can't find a nice black and white answer.

I like using the edit label text in the lable styles to add additional text and information.
I can turn on / off the backroung mask for all the style but not each.
Is there a way to turn on / off the backround mask of each layout text.
I'm using civil 3d 2012 and testing 2013.
I have inside every text,Mtext contents different text style like Arial_1 , Arial_2.
How i can give all the contents inside one style ? the normal procedure i will enter inside text to enter editing mode and changing text format style one by one. I want it once.
I want to save my routing of entering every text to change its content text style.
(Notice:select all from outside without editing mode will not do the job)
I wonder if it is possible to create a new text style where one can set the text to be already rotated.
I know that it is possible to rotate text in many ways but the styles always seem to be set on the horizontal to begin with.

View 6 Replies View Relatedhaving some problems selecting layer style's with a text layer, I can get them easly enough with a normal layer. but when I add a text layer, trying to get the drop shadow or outer glow etc is nearly impossible.
I can double click all I like on the layers palette, and nothing happens. I know they are available, I have used them before.
I'm adding 3 text layers to an image composite (jpeg converted from raw 8 bit in CS 1 and the 3 text layers are the top 3 of 17 layers) and want all the 3 layers with the drop shadow.
Is there another way of applying layer styles? I have allready put the drop shadow on the other 13 layers (even copy layer style doesn't seem to work on the text)
Im trying to create a spoof of an image but I cant get the style of the text right. You know how when people take say, the snickers logo but replace the word "snickers" with something else.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using PS6. Trying to use the warped text function, and I just get the error message "Could not complete your request because the type layer uses a faux bold style". Well, normally the answer is to just turn off the faux bold style with the flyout menu on the character window or on the top of the screen. But the problem is that it's already off. I've tried resetting all my tools back to the default settings. I've tried using different fonts. (currently using arial). Nothing seems to work. No matter what I try, it just continues to throw the same error each time.
