how do i create a transparent crystal ball in photoshop? because i want to add a cloud background in it.. with another image. also.. if there was an images inside a circle.... wich is the best way to cut out everything that is out side the circle?
Q1:What filters or effect would you use to create a layer which looks as if the object is covered with a lot of small crystals? You know, one of those bling bling mobile phones.
So far I can only think of cutting the bits off from other crystallised object and pasting it onto a untouched surface - very primitive, I know.
Q2: Is it possible to create a sparkly effect on crystals in Photoshop?
CS6 crashes on selecting any tool. It displays a spinning ball and can only be force quit. It developed this fault spontaneously. Where should I start searching? I repaired permissions, cleaned up the whole system, uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop.
I saw in my mind the image of a soccer ball bursting through the paper on the yearbook page. Looking on the Internet, it was looking more like a challenge than a "How'd They Do That?"
So, finally, I found something.
But, it is not quite what I want.....as you can see....
I need help getting a look of a real soccer ball protruding from the page.
Then, if everything holds up...I need this technique to be altered a little so that the torn flaps are a little more realistic.
How can I add a logo to a very good realistic inage of a golf ball. Ideally the image would flow right down into the "dimples". But I would be happy if I could simply get the logo image to kind of wrap around the ball a little. Does anyone know of a tutorial around that would help me to understand how to do this ?
I read a little about using the displace filter to do what I want but could not get it done properly.
I have a nice "golf ball" image. and I want to put a logo on it and have the logo image flow right down into the dimples like it would be on a real golf ball.
I'll attach the images I'm woking with. If you can give me a step by step procedure I would really appreciate it. I need to get this done but I would also like to understand how to do it so I can be a better photoshop user in the future.
I want to make a sphere that is a light. So I created a sphere and put a omni-light in it. When I render the sphere becomes flat and black. It must be a white light.
I've just got a new mouse, an Eclipse MobileMouse, which instead of a wheel has a 360-degree ball, like the apple Mighty Mouse. I can use this to scroll vertically in all apps, and it will also allow me to scroll menus in 3ds Max. However, I cannot use it to zoom in my viewport (as you would normally by using a conventional wheel).
Im good at freehand drawings on 2d autocad I'm trying to learn 3ds Max. I have a year with inventor, but very fresh on Max. I don't like mechanical, I do floor plans and cartoons.
Within dynamic simulation, I am trying to have a ball follow a track made of (2) rods, I can do it if the rods are straight but I do not know how to properly apply joints to allow the ball to follow the tracks when they are turning. I need to do this within dynamic simulation because I also hope to add a chain and sprockets with a ball holder to bring the ball back up to the top.
I am working on a project for school. I created a trebuchet but the ball goes way to far. I believe it is beacse there is no air friction. I have spent days trying to figure this out. Is there anyway in inventor pro to apply air friction on something like a cannon ball?
I am animating a ball right now, that is rolling all over the place. Would be cool to animate just the translation of an object and not to worry about rotation. Is there a way? Like.. through the expressions or set driven key? Also would be even better if rotation speed increased as the movement speed did.
why Autodesk doesn't put Flanged Ball Valves in the content center? There are several other types of valves in there but no flanged valves. This type of valve is very common in the oil and gas industry and it just baffles me that there is nothing there for this type of valve.
I have used Inventor for several years and this has always been an issue.
I am a beginner and I think some thing is turned off but the do not know what, because you need this spacial cursor on screen to change values in the channel box but my own is not showing up.
I need insert a cylinder into inner diameter of a ball bearing, logically it must rotate with the bearing but no, the bearing outer diameter is fixed to a support and works well, but when i insert the cylinder into the ball bearing it's fixed completely and the cylinder rotate into the inner diameter.
I am trying to create a ball valve that looks like the following:
To get the filled in portion, I created a detail family with a fill. All appears to be well, until I load the family into a project. Then the detail dissappears. The lines remain, but the filled ball is gone. This happens when I am looking from the floor plan view.
If I look at the valve from an elevation, rotating it to see it properly, the filled ball is back.
If I change the family type from Pipe Accessoies to something else, for example, Duct Accessories, the filled ball appears as it should.
Is there a reason that Pipe Fittings and Pipe Accessories do not show detail components in plan views?
I'm using Revit 2014 and I've attached my valve family.
