I have problem with the Photoshop CS5, i want to save as to icon format, so i download the icon format.8bi file from internet, and take it to the plus-in / file formats, and then i open Photoshop but not any change.
I am working on a 3' x 10' banner with 300dpi in Photoshop and it takes all of my time to do the extra tools to do, and it takes 10 minutes to save it or more. I have powerbook and CS6 on me. I put the highest memory in Photoshop preference. So I am bearing to work with it for hours for one small assignment, but why does it takes so long? is there a better way to do to save time and speed to make the poster banner to look greater than life? even in 200 dpi?
I just purchased Photoshop Elements 7, hoping for a simpler piece of software.
1. It comes with no manual so I'm no better off than with the company installed Photoshop 7 software from several years ago.
2. When I go to save a photo I have no option to save as a jpeg/jpg file.
When I try the Help tab, I eventually find that PSE 7 does supposedly save in jpeg/jpg format. If it does where the heck is that option in my save/save as menu?
I can't seem to save anything as a GIF file on Photoshop, not even regular ol' GIF images I haven't modified at all. It's not listed as a possible extension in the Save As window.
I created an action that includes changing the format in the Save for the Web feature to .png. When I run the action independently it works fine and saves the file as a .png, when I run this same action as a Droplet it saves the files as .psd. This has worked in previous versions, but I can't figure out why it does not work now. Perhaps something has changed in the File Naming section? This fails to maintain the .png format in both the Mac and PC versions.
I just recently updated to the Creative Cloud and now when I'm trying to save my file in Photoshop to any file format other then PSD, it will randomly choose a file format that I didn't choose.
For example, if I choose to save the file as a jpg, the file extension after the name at the top will say iff. No matter what I choose, nothing matches the file extension being shown at the top. So, I have to go through each file format to see which one will show the jpg extension
When trying to save a .CR2 file into JPEG format, CS5 automatically switches to the 'hand' icon for resizing the image in the window.
Sometimes it is possible to 'escape' from this, but the problem repeats and the only way out is to 'close' the image (the only option available). CS5 then crashes out. (64bit CS5 on Win 7 Ultimate).
I have downloaded CS6 on two computers Running 10.7.5. I have been operating on CS5 with no problems.Running CS 6 when I open a nef and try to save as it shows png as the save as if I try and change it a jpg it shows as.iff. When I open a tiff and try to do a save as the, format is empty when I click and set as psd it will do the psd. If I try and save as jpg it changes to a .ff file
This is the same thing on both machines.I did try to run pixel bender but it does not operate on cs6. I had akvis lightshop as a plugin but I Got these messages and I Removed it.I still have the stand alone akvis but not the plugin.
I have downloaded the New upgraded Nik software on cs6 on both machines I tried to put a screen shot but this will not accept it [URL]...
I suddenly got problems with saving files in .jpeg format. I use camera raw in my camera, and edit photos in Element, and then save a .jpeg version of the photo, and until recently that operation has went on without problems, but suddenly I got no other alternatives than .psd. Why?
I made lots of gifs a year ago, the problem is now I want to edit them, but in order to do so I will have to degrade quality futher as I will have to work directly on these gifs.
I want to prevent this from happening in the future, is there any convenient way to save frames that will compose the gif as well as the text elements in a consistent format that will ensure the quality?
I already tried to save into a PSD file, unfortunately it appaears that the frames are not included into the PSD file, they stay in the original folder.
My method is Open > Image sequence > I do what I have to do > Save as...
Basically I open a jpg file for editing in photoshop elements and then use "save as" to save my edited project as a jpg with a new filename in a local picture folder.
My new file however shows as
File Type: File
It will not open! the file wants me to associate a program to open it with and If I select photoshop to open the file I get a warning dialogue "Cannot open 2.5 3 Core TQ Rubber Flex because it is the wrong type of file"
This is the version of photoshop and my system info
Adobe Photoshop Elements Language Version: 10.0.0 (10.0 (20110831.m.17215)) Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1
Here is an example of one of these image files as seen on my pc.
I am trying to export file to CMX format, but the software won't accept it, probably because X6 is too new. I used to be able to import, but I do not remember if it was X4 or X5.
I chose "Save As", and in there I can only use old format if I am saving as CDR, but as CMX I won't get any option about saving in old format.
(btw, the other software ONLY accept CMX and the very much inferior WMF..)
Iam worked at a workshop that we cut and engrave metals sheets like stainless steel and copper and am using corel draw X5 for editing , drawing and exporting cut orders to cutting machine .
I exchange cdr files with other workshops around me that they use earlier versions of corel draw like ver 11. Did theirs a way that i can save all cdr files in corel draw X5 in ver 11 with out choosing in every time i save the file version option ?
I made some changes to a photo and when I went to save the changed photo(save as) in JPG format I get an error writing file to drive, no explanation and it wiped out my original photo on the drive.
I have made a project last night. and when I was gonna save it, it was written that video studio only save file as *VSP. I want to know how to save the project as a video format for example as *WMV or something like that.
I have a folder with a couple of files that i need to save a copy as STEP format, right now they are in CATIA, is it possible to save them all at once? or I will have to open one by one and save it?
I was trying to write a code to save an ai document as eps, when the need to turn the Format option to None arose. Here is a screenshot to better describe my question.
I looked in the class AINativeAction.h but wasn't able to find a suitable key to match to turn this option off programmatically.
I am adjusting colours on photos with Photo Paint X6. When I try to save with original settings the OK button in the "Export to JPEG" dialog box is grayed out. There are no error messages or hints on the screen as to what to do to proceed with the save JPEG with orginal settings.
When I loaded some photo actions into my new PSE11 it show only a generic icon in the effects palette, not the icon from the maker so it takes extra time to search for the action I need. How can I get the icon from the maker to show as the icon in the palette?
