I'm using OS 10.6.8 and the latest Epson drivers for the 3880. I have re-installed both PS and the Epson drivers. If I print from Acrobat Reader everything seems to work fine, this only is happening in Photoshop CS5.
For some reason while in text mode, all letters stay locked in Cap mode. My cap lock key is not on?
View 1 Replies View Related“annotation scale” on the lay out mode,
I’m not sure about the current “annotation scale” in case of lay out mode.
Annotation scale option is displayed only in the model and viewport mode but not in the lay out mode (attached)!
Based on what annotative objects living on the lay out but neither in the model (or viewport) are re-sized? At this mode, there is no option to choose the annotation scale?
On other words, how to choose the annotation scale in the lay out mode?
This may be related to other imported catalog bugs, but does not seem to be quite the same. In Lightroom 4, with an upgraded Lightroom 3 catalog:
1. Select a photo in Library mode.
2. Click on Develop to go to Develop mode
Screen shows "No photo selected". I cannot edit photos in Develop mode.
I can see and edit photos that are found in smart collections, but not photos that are simply in my collections from 2012, 2011, etc. folders
I am running photoshop CS on my laptop which is a Compaq presario 1503 AP.
I have had this problem since I used Photoshop 7 and now Photoshop CS. When I want to go to a new paragraph or the next line using the enter key, it just doesnt work.
When I hit enter, the text just exits the text entry/edit mode.
When using the brush tool what is the difference between using the brush in color mode on a normal layer vs using the brush in normal mode on a color mode layer?

I used this hundreds of times ... does a great job.
I upgraded PC to W7 (32 bit) and Photoshop to CS5 extended (v12)
However it no longer works... it crashes the application.
Adobe support site advises that there were changes in CS5 that prevent 'older' plug-ins working.
I have been unable to track down the author, and I don't have skills to update it for CS5.
Testing shows that if I start up PC in safe mode then the plug-in does work. It is a pain to reboot PC in-between apps or even images, and working in safe mode blocks many other things.
Is there a way to force CS5 to load in safe mode when PC is already up & running ?
I have had a friend check this on a 64 bit PC ... and the same thin .. crashes unless started in safe mode.
Such a great plug-in, real pain it no longer works.
Alternatively is there any group of gurus who I could go to who would be able to fix the Pug-in so it will work happily with CS5 ?
What are the values of Y80 C60 B60...in RGB or CMYK mode?

I'm working on a mac and I'm a newcomer to the 3D features in CS6
I have taken a flat pattern design and created a cylinder from the mesh preset dropdown. Screenshot attached of the rasterized 3d layer.
I have the angle and scale I want, but I'd like to remove all shadowing. Is there a way of turning lighting off completely and retaining the colours of the original flat pattern design?
I'm new to Photoshop and am trying to learn to use the 3D functionality but am not able to get 3D mode to even turned on.

I have CS5 v. 12.1 X64. I've just changed printers from Epson 2400 to 3880. Using epson profiles, my colors come out pink. The printer worked fine on the 2400 and works fine on non-cs5 programs. I set mode to custom, Off (No Color Adjustment).

They often ask you to duplicate a layer and change it's mode to Vivid Light or Lighten or something like that. I have been selecting the layer and changing it from the drop down menu on the layer pallette but it doesn't seem to change anything? It doesn't affect it the way its supposed to...nothing really happens.
I have installed Photoshop CS3 on my computer but some how I find that when I try to open a new file in Photoshop in Clipboard mode only it is disabled other modes are on.

All I need is the logo to be rendered in 3D, and I will use the Multiply blending mode to use the shading that's already on the baseball. How do I turn off all shading effects in the 3D interface so no additional shading is applied to the sphere the logo is being wrapped around?

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some unknown reason i get a slowdown when using RGB color mode, brushes, even 1px sized brushes trail behind the cursor and makes it rather slow and rather problematic to draw and paint. When i change to any of the other modes, greyscale, cmyk, etc; this slowdown doesn't occur at all which results in no slowdown.
Yesterday, painting with 1000px brushes in rgb mode didn't even give a noticeable slowdown which is very weird. So the issue has to have happend today.

I've recently downloaded Photoshop CS6 trial version and i've tried to add a flare to a transparent background image and turn the blend option to color dodge or screen but when i do so the black bg does no go. It stays there but i have seen in many other examples video and i've even done it myself at school computers and at my home computer once but this time it just wont do it?
Example:
I open a signature for a forum i made with a transparent background.
I import a flare. It has a black bg.
Turn blend mode option to screen and the flare goes above the text but the black bg is still actually there.
I want to use a normal brush tool but ahve it side by side because I need to make a motorway, I want to make it on Photoshp but I need to know how to do that.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I open a file or create e new file in CS5.1, it fills the screen. In CS3, at the bottom of the tool bar, is a tool "screen mode" that lets me open a file that doesn't fill the screen so that I can put two or more small files (images) on a new blank file. I have not been able to do that in CS5. I do not know how to show two (or more) files at one time in CS5.1.
