View 3 Replies View RelatedI have seen others remove someone they don't like from a picture rather effortlessly!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have adobe photoshop 7.0, and I want to use for some basic things, but even after searching I'm unsure if and/or how it can be done. Basically I want to "cut out" part of a picture like a cookie cutter, and then place it on a different background. For example, if there is a picture of a lion at a zoo, I want to isolate the lion, and paste it on a african sahara backdrop.
I'm not looking to do anything fancy, its just for a personal project, but I don't even know what terms to search for in the help section of photoshop. I've always had trouble finding how to do this and I don't know why because has to be one of the most common procedures in graphic design. Is this accomplished by using a mask or what..?
I just downloaded a really cool picture, but I was curious if Photoshop has a way to remove the text in a picture or blend it into the picture?
View 8 Replies View RelatedHow to make it blend in so you can't even tell it was Photoshopped into the picture. I use the magnetic lasso but there are always areas where it isn't smooth or part of the background is showing. Especially the hair.
On top of that it will be better or worse quality than the picture I'm adding it to. Or it will be darker or lighter, etc etc.
I need removing a background from a picture. My boss wants some t-shirts made but the only image I have is one with a tie-dye background and I need it to just be the black and white that is on the image. I have been trying for 2 weeks to do this and I can get real close but it leaves the colors around the edges and I need this gone. I have the original photo and the one with almost everything removed.

I have a picture - it's of a house from 1937, from the archives. Unfortunately, it has writing on it (in large white handwritten letters). I'd like to remove the letters; I only have LR3, not photoshop - is there a way to do this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI took some pictures outside recently and when I looked at them later realized there were sun spots on them. I have Coral Paint Shop Pro x2 and how to remove this sun spots so I can salvage the pictures. Some of the spots are yellowish color and some are white. They are all on peoples legs so I have not been able to find a way to remove them. I have tried the cloning but it looks funny. I have also tried creating a new layer and removing the color yellow from the picture but that doesnt seem to work either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIve seen a lot of this type of graphics pop up everywhere for sometime now. And i know from the animated clips that a lot of it is done in 3d. But if i were to create it in PS as a still frame, how do you go about making it look the way it does? I can imagine you could do it by creating lines and making copies of it and varying each a little bit, add some color overlays etc etc. And then there is the motion blur effect theyve got on it. Not sure how to go about that, but overall that looks like a lot of hard manual labour.

a) I follow the tutorial above to remove backgrounds. However, the background has similar color than picture (in this case "white" - picture attached - FIG_2). So, when I use "background eraser" tool, it erase part of my picture as well. So, how to handle it properly?
b) The tutorial was usefull to other image that has different backgound color (FIG_3 attached). But using other software (Gimp) I could just take the transparency index (color=> color to alfa) with "one click" without the request of erase background manually. So, is there any similar way to do it easily in Paint Shop?
Streaks through their wipeouts when viewing pdf plots? It seems to come and go depending on how much you zoom into the plot. Attached is a simple example of what I am talking about, along with the source drawing, and a snip as I see it in Acrobat X.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIf I import the files from the camera disk directly into LR4, I sometimes get vertical streaks on the preview images.
Yet if I go to develop mode, the picture loses its streaks by merely entering and exiting crop mode without changing the image size.
If I import them from the pictures folder after they were imported through another program, I haven't had any issues. Go figure!
I believe this issue started when I upgraded to Inventor Professional 2014. When I print idw files with shaded models on my HP Designjet 500 plotter I get white streaks in the shaded model. I never had this issue with the 2013 version of Inventor. If I export the same idw file to a pdf then print the pdf file there is no streaking and the printed drawing is okay. Thinking it was a Designjet issue I spent a couple days on HP's discussion group to find a solution but now it looks like a software issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDrawing A has a grid system Xref-ed into it. It also has a block reference in it, repeated in various places throughout the drawing.
I Xref-ed the grid into the block to check something, and now I can't get it out. This means that the grid now repeats all over Drawing A as well and is generally being a nuisance.
If I try to unload the Xref within the block, it unloads it in Drawing A too. If I try to detach it from the block, it returns this message: Xref [Xref name] has multiple references. Not detached. If I try to detach the Xred from Drawing A, it returns the same message.
How do I unload the same Xref that occurs in a block in a drawing, and in the drawing itself, independently of each other?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have several pictures. Each "pair of picture" shows the same person on the same background/perspective/settings (using a tripod) -- but with the person on a different position. Now I want to crop these pairs of pictures. Now I am recording my cropping of the first picture as an action and repeat the same step via this action on the second picture.
But it is possible eg to record my cropping via a shortcut and execute the cropping with another shortcut to the next picture (the "next actually opened" picture) just to do this faster?
I need to do add a small photo insert into an existing photo. Is this possible with this software?
