I need removing a background from a picture. My boss wants some t-shirts made but the only image I have is one with a tie-dye background and I need it to just be the black and white that is on the image. I have been trying for 2 weeks to do this and I can get real close but it leaves the colors around the edges and I need this gone. I have the original photo and the one with almost everything removed.

a) I follow the tutorial above to remove backgrounds. However, the background has similar color than picture (in this case "white" - picture attached - FIG_2). So, when I use "background eraser" tool, it erase part of my picture as well. So, how to handle it properly?
b) The tutorial was usefull to other image that has different backgound color (FIG_3 attached). But using other software (Gimp) I could just take the transparency index (color=> color to alfa) with "one click" without the request of erase background manually. So, is there any similar way to do it easily in Paint Shop?
when i go into the editor and pull up a picture and blue background appears behind the picture and circle enters the screen. how do i get out of this?

In elements 11 layers is there a way to create a white mobile template that sits over a background picture? I need to create a white boarder around a standard 4x6 picture, to create a picture with very specific dimensions, to expedite the trimming process on the final print. On top of that it will be better or worse quality than the picture I'm adding it to. Or it will be darker or lighter, etc etc.

change or remove a back ground from a photo? I can remove the unwanted area, but when I create a new background, the people look cut out. I have tried to set the selection feather to about 10, but they still look like I cut them out. The background is a solid color (ugly yellow) and I am trying to change it to look like a studio canvas. You know with what looks like clouds? I have used the clouds filter and the difference clouds.
I have also tried a drop shadow in the back, and while that improves it a little, still not the look that it needs to be.
how can we extract a part of a picture. Say for example I want to extract my picture from one of my prevailing photos and paste it on some other background, how can that be achieved. I tried tools like Magic Lasso, Magnatic Lasso etc and even appled the feather feature, but even then when I paste it on some other background, any one can make it out. The most difficult part is with hairs. I am attaching some pictures which I randomly found on net. View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to use MediaStudio Pro to create picture in picture especially where the picture starts small and grows to cover the entire background video clip.
I looked for and found a video filter which I thought would allow me to do the same. However after viewing the 'help' for the filter and trying just about everything I could think of I cannot achieve what I want to do if start with a video clip and then have another video clip appear (very small) in one area of the background video and then slowly grow larger to eventually cover the background video clip.
I can make the picture in picture appear and grow larger but it covers the entire background video clip with black effectively covering it no matter what size my picture in picture is. I looked for a chroma key to cover the black out but could not find it.
or how to position a picture in a specific location within a background picture.

I've been told the tall lady is too orange (the bride is very pale), but having got it wrong once with another orange lady, what in you view is the best way of taking out some of her fake tan?
Last I did this, what looked okay on screen did not look good in the prints as whilst I took some of the tungsten orange out of the room's glow, it seems that the ladies lipstick had the same tone - thus the result was that it looked like she's been a feeding vampire not 2 minutes before the picture such was the impression of blood on her lips!
Lastly, if I want to blow out the highlights here in the window as there's still some details from the 'orrible net curtains, what do you recommend?

All i want to do is remove the white so that I can put in a blue sky. I have selected the white (with quick selection) and deleted it. I even unlocked the layers, so once I delete I see the checkerboard. I try to place the image in Illustrator. The white comes back!
