View 3 RepliesI don't think I installed the 32-bit version PS CS6 Upgrade into Windows 7 64-bit after I downloaded it over a year ago. So, today, I went to execute Photoshop_13_LS16.exe file and I got the error message:
"The file archive part of Adobe Photoshop CS6 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder to extract Adobe Photoshop CS6. Please download all parts."
I cannot get this program to install. I keep getting a message that the file archive portion of the file is missing, I am not going to spend all day screwing around in a forum chasing my tail. Either have a human being contact me or cancel my order immediately and credit the purchase!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded a brush, that I'd like to use in Photoshop 10, and I read that you're supposed to extract the file into
Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop (whatever version you are using) > Presets > Brushes
Now, this is how far I can get:
Program Files > Adobe CS3 > Photoshop > Adobe CS3
I don't have anything called "Presets", but I have payloads, redist and resources. I can't find anything similar to "brushes" either, am I in the right place?
I have used an exceptionally good website called [URL]...... for a number of years with no problems. I have just downloaded from them a .mp3 file lasting 5 minutes but when I come to load it into my project , I get an error message saying "File format mismatch". The only difference that I see between this and all the previous files I have downloaded from them is that this one has a bitrate of 320kbps compared to the previous ones of 130-190kbps.
View 6 Replies View RelatedTrying to download the version 5 trial and keep getting the message that the version 5 .exe file cannot be downloaded. It looks like 1.33 GB have downloaded and then it stops and gives me the option to retry or cancel and when I retry it gives me the same error message.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a file and when I try to group everything, the option is not available, it's greyed out. The status bar says curve on layer 2. I have another object on layer 1 and had no problem grouping.

I can't seem to figure out why I cannot manipulate this file. All tool bars are blacked out like it has the "read only" property. Which was first thing I checked to try to diagnose this issue. I've also tried save copy as, checking in & out of the Vault. Deleting local copies and opening from Vault. Even re-downloading the same file. Nothing seems to work. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or did whoever create this remove the write capability from it somehow. All I am trying to do is go into document settings and change the units from metric to standard.
I used Adobe lens profile creator to download a lens profile. I cannot find the file. It is not in the standard folder for lens profiles. Where does lens profile creator downloads the lcp file? It says local disk?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have full app access and am hoping one of the CC programs will do what I want. I currently use Crash Plan+ to back up all my pic/vid files. I have no complaints except when I want to use restore I can only see file type/name but not a preview. So its hit and miss when trying to restore a generic file name photo/vid. My question is, is there an Adobe CC product that I can use to generate separate thumbnails that I can generate and save to a file that has all the files in a given folder. That way I can just restore the thumbnail file for that folder and see what files are in it with preview pics and find which files on the CrashPlan+ restore console to download. That way I can restore a much smaller file with views of all pics vs having to restore a whole folder of 25+mb files just to find the one I want.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am working with a large file for a construction project and am looking to archive my layout tabs after producing each phase of deliverables (output).
Is there a way to do this? I do not want to have to "screenshot" my .dwg and save it with the layouts and then delete and keep working in my working file. I'd like to keep everything in one file.
I can't find a way to add clips to an existent archive....

View 1 Replies View RelatedMacbook Pro, 2 GHz Intel Core i7
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50d)
External Drive: Seagate 2TB
I have prior years of images archived on my external drive.
Example: STJOHNPHOTO_2011.LRCAT is on the external drive
I want to add these images to my local catalog (LR4) on my Macbook
As I add the images - leaving the files in their original location - the star ratings and development settings are not importing.
I was wondering if it's possible to archive Smoke projects via command line as it would be so much convenient.
If so I could create a shell script with my project and library names and just leave it running overnight project after project. Is this possible? Or command line works only for un archiving?
Easiest way to restore a Smoke Linux archive using Smoke on Mac 2012. The archive was saved to an external USB drive that I assume is Linux Ext-2 or Ext-3.
Mounting the drive on the Mac is the challenge. I've read that using an open source program like MacFuse may be an option. Does Autodesk provide a Mac utility for doing this?
Using Smoke EXT1 and a previous user archived his project using the old school method; media and setups seperatly instead of just selecting the project as a whole.
I've draged the media into a library and restored that easy enough but can not find the details of how to recover the setups from the tar file in the archive. It does not show up in the media pannel at all, just an emply folder. How to get these setups loaded into a project?
Is it possible to archive setups without archiving the whole project?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a font off the web and put it in my C:/WINNT/Fonts folder. The font appears in my list of fonts in Photoshop but when I type I can't see anything. However what I type is stored as the name of the text layer, so it knows I've typed something in, I just can't see it.

View 2 Replies View Relatedthe best way to archive and move/rename a project folder? As the new CAD manager for my firm I am going to restructure our entire server as the current structure is very unorganized and inefficient. Projects date back as far as the 90's and I would like to move them all into an archive folder but also have them still be working files as far as XREF's are concerned. None of the drawings have XREF's that utilize the relative file location feature so when I do move a folder, all of the XREF's must then be updated. This is not an option because I have at least 500 projects that will be moved which would be far too time consuming.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there an ability to archive photos from Lightroom 5 to reduce the size of your catalog? For example, if I have a wedding I shot where I have several hundred photos but I've delivered the final pictures to my client, should I/can I archive these photos out of Lightroom as I'll probably never look at them again but don't want to delete them just in case.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 2 years of footage related to a project and I'm looking to have it centralised and have metadata attached to it that will allow me to cross reference footage, for example, when someone in an interview talks about losing weight and to be able to pull up clips that relate to that.
I got a feeling that an Excel spreadsheet is the way...
but can't work out where to go from there..' read me' says to drop into photo shop but not sure if I have to drop in whole folder which I did or open folders and drop in contents which also did but not able to find where they are or not coming up in fill patterns. or brushes???
