Corel PHOTO-PAINT X6 :: Use A Photo Frame From Connect?
May 12, 2013I would like to use a photo frame from connect, and keep it in the Effects>Creative>Frame menu of frames. I have downloaded and clicked and dragged the frame to my image, but I would like to reuse this frame. Is it possible to add it to the menu? I can download it to the menu - but it is a temporary item in the list of views to the right, which can be replaced from any of the permanent members of the dropdown selection of frames on the left of the Frame menu. I would like a frame to become one of those "permanent frames."

Dec 3, 2007I have a new digital photo frame that displays images at 480 X 234. Is there any easy technique in Photoshop to crop images to this size (or close), without manually drawing a rectangular marquee and trying to guess at it's size? Is there any way to draw a 480 X 234 pixel rectangle and then position it over the photo, then crop to the rectangle? Any suggestions would be appreciated, since I have about 500 pictures that I want to put on a memory card for Christmas.

May 14, 2008I'd like to make a graphic to be used to frame video footage for a music video I am shooting. I'd like for the 'frame' to make the footage look like a 1920's photo that is damaged around the edges. I want to give the audience the impression they are looking at an old photo that has an animated video in it.
I've exported a few samples as a test. The center was transparent upon export, yet became white when I re-opened the image. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The background setting was selected as 'transparent'.

Dec 3, 2012I'm trying to use content-Aware fill to enlarge a photo into different aspect frame. The subject is in pool, surrounded by a large area of water. I've put the image in to the larger aspect ratio canvas, with a green solid background behind it, then merged those two layers together as one. I selected all the green and delted using content-aware fill. It did a pretty good job but it's also recreating some of the subject.
Is there a way that I can specify the area that it chooses from, ie the water?

Apr 21, 2013On my website, especially when pictures are side by side, I try to make all the same, i.e. square. To me it looks better. I have a picture that is rectangle and obviously cannot resize to a square - distorts the picture. I know there is a way to copy the rectangle picture into a square picture frame which allows the picture to be square while not distorting the rectangle size.
But I don't know how to do this. I have watched a video on this but still not clear how to do it.

Nov 30, 2012I create animated gifs frequently using the Frame Animation pallet. The default frame rate starts out as 10 seconds, so I always have to change it to 4 seconds. Is there anyway to reset the default frame rate that I start out with to 4 seconds, so that I don't have to change it every time?
Preferences did not yield any promising menus
I know the standard default reset with many Adobe products is to change it without a document open, but in PS CS5.5 if you do not have a document open the frame rate option is greyed out
