View 5 Replies View RelatedI've purchased a new Olympus E 620 camera and have the Ps /Cs3 design suite, now 18months old . I am unable to import camera raw images via bridge or directly into Ps 3 using any of the camera Raw 5.4 or DNG plug-ins. Can I purchase an upgrade for Cs3 to Cs4 for Ps only that will work within Cs3. I am becoming very tired of paying big dollars for very recent programmes that will not work with the latest technology.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've recently purchased an Olympus E-3 (previously owned E-330). I use CS2 and Windows XP Media. I am new to shooting RAW images and just got back from a trip where I shot RAW (.ORF) images.
I updated my DNG converter and Camera Raw to 3.7 (as that is the highest level supported by CS2). The list of supported cameras include the E-3. But I still get the error message that it can't complete your request because it is not the right kind of document.
I try to use the DNG Converter and get a message there was an error parsing the image.
What am I not understanding? Since the E-3 should be supported in Camera Raw, why am I getting this error message? I really enjoy the flexibility of photoshop Camera Raw and wish to continue.
What is the best and easiest way to open these files in Photoshop? I am stuck with a ton of .ORF images that I cannot open. Please help!
What do I need to install in Photoshop to recognized Olympus Micro 4/3 RAW Format?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have started to use my new Olympus E-PL1 camera with RAW files.
I was not so pleased with the results in PSE ACR and Lightroom so I have decided to try THE SAME RAW file in Capture One Express and Raw Therapy.
I was shocked to discover that the area covered with Capture One Express and Raw Therapy is larger than ACR and Lightroom - to my astonishment it is like having a wider lens - in all four corners of the image there more details and objects that cannot be seen in ACR! - notice a red car on the right side and a blue boat on the left side - it looks like either from a wider lens or like another file!
I have checked both in Photoshop ACR and Lightroom and the Lens Correction option is turned OFF.

View 11 Replies View RelatedLast week I sold my Panasonic GH2 and bought an Olympus OM-D E-M5. My 14-45 Panasonic lens shows some nasty purple color fringing with the OM-D (not your ordinary green-purple chromatic aberration, but purple fringing on both sides of highly exposed items, such as steel wheel covers). This I never(!!) saw with the GH2. Fortunately I can correct this in Lightroom. I go (in Develop module) to lens corrections - color - remove edge (purple). This works really well, and I know I can synchronize all affected images. But I would like to have this done automatically, just as Lightroom automatically removes all color faults when using micro four-thirds Panasonic lenses with a micro four-thirds Panasonic body. This is done through special data supplied by Panasonic which are read and implemented by Lightroom (I believe).
Unfortunately this doesn't work when using a Panasonic lens on an Olympus body, which is my reason for this question. I can make my own profile using Adobe Profile Creator to automatically remove chromatic aberration. Reading the tutorial I get the impressions these profiles only remove normal chrom. aberration, not the special purple color fringing I am talking about. So: is there any way to automate this fringing, or do I have to work on all affected images in Lightroom using the technique I described?

I have installed the RAW plugin. It shows up in the help plugins. I did the preferences scratch and plugin etc. Will not open my RAW, which are really CRW files from my Canon 300 DSLR. What am i doing wrong?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI need to know how to install this plug-in from my photoshop CD. I follow all the steps, but still have a problem when I open up PSCS -- error message saying that some kind of .dll file cannot be found. I unzip the file (I think) and move the folder to the "plug-ins" folder in Photoshop program file.
I am able, however, to open photoshop despite that error message, but I don't see the effect under Filter>Render, where it says it will be. Am I missing an actual installation step and if so, where does it tell me to actually install the 3D filter? I had to make a cube for a class I'm taking and I made it, but freehand and a lot of transforming.
I am trying to locate a third party plugin for PhotoShop that was described to me by someone who had seen a website on it but did not remember the URL. Supposedly the manufacturer of the plugin had contacted the makers of a number of digital cameras and had incorporated profiles of each of them in the software, so that many of the problems of digital imaging (noise, grain, etc) were easily corrected with one click.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have adobe CS4, windows vista and Nik software plugins.
The plugins installed fine and I can open and use them in photoshop. However, when I click on "Ok" to apply the filter in photoshop, it shows as applied in the history states but it hasnt actually applied it to the photo.
The graphics cards is an ATI radeon HD 3650 and seems to be recognised by CS4 and am using open GL.
Two of my coworkers were arguing about this and I have no idea about it...
