recently I had to find a hi-res grungy old style Movie Ticket stub but couldn't find anything on Google Images and stock photos were too expensive so I decided to bite the bullet and design one from scratch... what do you think?
I'll save you the same trouble, you can download the hi-res versions from my website here: [URL].....
how to process the photo of my friend's face to match the style of the poster. I've been experimenting with different textures and color techniques in photoshop, but I just can't seem to get it quite right.
I have recorded an action to create a transparent image on a batch of photos. Next I ran the image processor using the File/Scripts/image processor. When running the action the error message occurs no matter how many ways I attempt to modify the action. Error: The object "Style "Shape Style"" is not currently available.
I then look in the action window to check and under the steps Make Fill Layer: Style: Shape, Style 1 appears but I can't delete it. This one error message makes it impossible for me to image process a batch of photos with a watermark on them.

I've yet to figure out how to make movies into gif animations in a nice clean way.
The way I've been doing it is by taking screen shots of a movie with a editing program and just compiling them into a gif with ImagReady but they are never smooth or nice looking because its a screen shot.
So this time, PS can't open a .avi movie file. I already installed the latest version of Quicktime(7.1) but it still won't open. It says, "Could not complete to open command Video frames to Layers command because movie file cannot be opened." My video, is like 500kb-1mb.. or like 3-10 seconds long
Can Photoshop or another Adobe software be used to edit photo stills from digital movie images? I just want to take specific images and don't want the rest of the footage.
Attached is a picture of a Casablanca movie poster, my wife's favorite movie. I'm hoping to insert our faces, yet not quite sure how to really make it seamless. I played with filters, colorizing, hue, adding noise, etc.
I opened up ImageReady CS2 and went to, File - Open, then noticed I couldn't view any movies when it said, "All Readable Formats". Usually they show up without having to go to, "All Files". You know? Anyways, I double-clicked the .MOV video and when the open prompt went away, I'm greeted with this, "lovely", error.
--- "Could not complete the operation. This is an unknown file or format." ---
Now, I know that you can open .MOV's, I've done it brefore. I tried an MPEG also, just to test. Same thing, though. Please help. I'm sad. lol... really.
I tried uninstalling CS2, reinstalling, uninstalling, installing CS, uninstalling, installing 7.0, still nothing. I guess that means it may be something with my preferences. The .MOV files don't even show up on, "All Readable Formats", if you know what I mean. I have to do, "All Files (.)".
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I am curious on how to achieve the effect shown in the movie Sweeny Todd. I am talking about the grey and dark effect. I want to do this for some of my photos.
When I import a Quicktime movie Uncompressed 10 bits or Apple ProRes 4444 (1920 x 1080(1.00) 25.00 fps Trillions of collors) >> to PS CS5 or CS6 Extended the first frame is missing and the last frame is doubled?
I am trying to make an animated gif for tumblr in PSE 10. I'm very new to this and I don't understand what I am doing wrong. The gif only includes like 15 frams but when I go to Save for web or whatever the animation button is disabled.
I have bought yet another Elements and this one doesn't work any better than the last one did on Windows 7. I am sick of wasting money and time! Last time I was out the money and just had to continue using Windows Movie Maker.
I am looking for a way to change the text style used by a table style with Visual LISP. So far I have been able to get the IAcadTableStyle object from the acad_tablestyle dictionary, but there is no property for text style. Is this even possible? Code and results are below.
I read that it's not possible to import a style (styxml file) into the style editor through the API, there is no dedicated command.
However I'm wondering if there's a a way to have the internal name corresponding to the button as we can do for the ribbon buttons (there's a sample code which does this).
So is it possible ot get the internal name of a button inside a dialog box (style editor here) or is it really hopeless to think I can import a style with a macro ?
