Most the the Creative Suite misbehaves with respect to the Windows 7 taskbar. One behavior that's particularly unproductive is seeing a bunch of gray icons for open application windows, and having the associated full size peek image grayed out too. I frequently work with many open image windows that I prefer to keep undocked. If they're minimized, more often than not there's a gray taskbar preview. Â Once I click on the thumbnail and activate a window, the thumbnail taskbar image updates. But when I switch between applications, the updated thumbnails will usually go blank next time I peek at the PS6 taskbar.
I tried to get some help from the tutorials one this page but i didn`t find out what to do. Let's use Image: Adjust: Hue/Saturation to give it some color. How do i use Hue/Saturation? It dosen`t show on the menu. Is it something you download,or haven`t i done it right? I hope you understod what i tried to discribe?
I'm makeing a demo video for an iPhone app and I have a really good PSD template for an iPhone but I'm not seeing a way to move any of the layers around. The reason I need to make adjustments is because it has a nice relfection on the screen and I need to gett the footage from the video underneath the reflection.
don't know if it's a mac/pc problem or if it's a CS6 problem. I have been working with photoshop on PC for the past 9 years or so. I recently had to switch to CS6 on Mac. Â I can no longer place my cursor in the blend modes field and use arrow keys to quickly toggle through them to find the ideal mode. I used to be able to preview 15 blend modes in just 5-6 seconds and land on the ideal mode... and get on with my project. NOW i have to click this button and click again on each blend mode... lengthening my process by up to 2 minutes. This is an ENORMOUS problem for me as choosing blend modes is critical in my day to day design work. Â See the menu right next to it where you can type in the opacity? I can put my cursor in there and use arrow keys to adjust values. Blend mode NEEDS to work this way too. And this is on a mac. You simply HAVE to do something here. productivity impacted severely. Â Also.. this problem exists in After Effects CS5 on pc. Let's get it fixed there too. I will hand-write you a letter of praise and send flowers if you can do this.
When i try to open Adobe Photoshop CC it only opens in the taskbar and Im unable to open it completely as a whole. My only option for the taskbar is to close the window.
When I was working in Photoshop CS2 yesterday, a "Progress" Folder appeared at the bottom of my screen in the taskbar area. What is this? Never seen it before. When I clicked on the Progress folder, nothing happened.
I switched from CS3 to CS4 and realized that when I turn on the screen mode called "Full Screen with Menu Bar" it actually switches off the windows task bar. It is actually crucial to me, as I am really used to drag the document with a hand tool without boundaries, which was always achievable once pressing "F". In that mode, I could still use the taskbar to navigate to other windows (and see notifications from the taskbar). Now, in CS4, the combination of nice document dragging and taskbar is impossible.
When I loaded some photo actions into my new PSE11 it show only a generic icon in the effects palette, not the icon from the maker so it takes extra time to search for the action I need. How can I get the icon from the maker to show as the icon in the palette?
Set-up: Photoshop CS6 64; Windows 7 64: Taskbar set to fixed view on the left hand side of a 2-monitor set-up. Card: nVidia Quatro FX3800: All latest drivers  Issue: Untabbed document windows cannot be repositioned on either monitor as it "snaps" back to left-hand edge of the left monitor. Every time it is dragged to reposition and released, more of the document vanishes off the left hand side of the monitor until it is no longer visible.  Temporary Fix: Either tab the document window or move the taskbar to the bottom edge of the screen or set to auto hide. Can we have a patch please - as this isn't the method I work.
I recently reinstalled Photoshop Elements 9 on my new Windows 7 sytem which replaced my old XP system which was hit by lightning and destroyed. It worked fine to start with, then on the second day after the system had gone into sleep mode( not the first time) and I woke it up, I could not bring the organizer up out of the Taskbar. I tied to restart the system to recover but it hung up say saving settings and eventually I was forced to hit the reset button to get going again. When I try to start the organiser again from the welcome screen it just goes into the taskbar and stays there. The editor comes uo fine, but thats not much use without the organiser. I noticed when I tried to bring up the organiser the Task Manager showed that the organiser was running and using 49% of the CPU time but that eventually stopped and the organizer still won't come up.
I just downloaded and installed PSE11 trial to do some experiments. I wanted to change to another window I had open, the Windows taskbar wouldn't un hide, this is a deal breaker if there is not a solution. I prefer not to minimize a window I prefer to switch from one to the other. Windows Vista
We are doing a waterline, approximately 5 miles worth, and I was curious how to add the data bands to the minor stationing as well. Â We want to show EG elevations every 25' but so far I'm unable to find a way to make it show. The major stations are fine, I'm just not seeing the "switch" to get the minor ones on as well.
I want a grid where a grid line is drawn every 10mm, with division lines every 1mm. Â When I set this up in illustrator the grid lines (major) render fine but I am not seeing any division (minor) lines at all. Is this the defauld behaviour in illustrator?
I've just moved back to windows and have an odd thing I don't remember happening before. Every time I open an additional file, a new photoshop icon shows up on the Taskbar (windows 7). The way I remember it working previously, there was only one icon on the task bar regardless of how many files are open.Â
Whenever i press the F key twice to enter full screen mode, sometimes the taskbar and Gadget Bar (Windows Vista) dissapear as expected, and other times they do not. I am currently running a demo version of PS CS3 on Windows Vista, but had the same issue with PS CS2 on Windows XP.
I have the bottom axis selected and trying to change my minor tick interval from 5' to 2.5' on the grid in the Horizontal Axes tab, but each time I type in 2.5' my minor horizontal tick intervals disappear. The lowest I can set my interval is to 3.5'. What is causing the interval to disappear? The major tick interval is set to 50' in the Horizontal Axes tab and my Major tick interval is 20' in the Vertical Axes tab with 2.5' for the minor. My Display settings have everything unfrozen and turned on.
i just started seeing the very top portion of the taskbar in full screen mode. It is just a thin line that gives you access to the taskbar without minimizing CS6. I am running Windows 7 64 bit on a loaded PC.
Can I turn off the begin and end vertical grid of a profile? Currently it can be turned off using the GRID AT VERTICAL MAJOR, even though I'm starting/ending my profile view at stations that are neither major (100') nor minor (50').Â
Civil 3D 2010.
I attached a pdf to show the vertical line at 19+90 that I want turned off.
If you can see it in the image below, I am showing my minor grids with a dot linetype. I have a total of 6 profiles all of which appear to have the dots double up in random areas, they also print like this.

How to Move Photoshop 5 LE from dead XP to Win7? I moved the program files from the dead XP computer to a new Win7 notebook, but it will not run because there is not enough memory RAM. What does this mean?
I just bought a new computer. I've seen some mention about incompatability issues. The last thing I want to do is start deleting everything on my new machine. It has Premire elements 10 on it. I read something about a caps database. I have renamed it but still get the same corrupt DB error. What can I do to install my CS4 and not delete other files on my new machine?
