for a client I made a logo in Photoshop. For her letters she uses Word en wants to use to logo there. But if the logo is imported in Word, using insert from file from the menu the logo gets a bit blurry, sort of anti-alias kind of blur.
Â
I tried PNG and JPEG, with 72 dpi, 150 dpi and even 96 dpi. It used the sizes we need in word so no rescaling is done. When exporting from Word to PDF does not work.
Â
The settings for compressing are set to "keep current resolution".
Â
I use PS CS5 en Word 2011 both on the Mac. My client uses Windows.

What to do about the not so sharp images in Word 2011?
How to export the .dwg file to Microsoft WORD as a base/background for further word processing on top? Is there any direct way to convert the file that can use in WORD?
I've been importing Microsoft Word text just using the clipboard. That is, I'll open Microsoft Word, open my document, select all, copy, and then go to InDesign and paste. InDesign gives me a text block with my text and I just re-size the columns. The text comes in all weird and I have to stylize it, of course. Sometimes I get some junk like nonbreaking characters and other hidden characters which screw me up until I figure out what's going on. My question is: what's the best way to import Microsoft Word text that will introduce the fewest errors?
I have inherited a site tempate, and am trying to change the logo to emulate the text already present on graphics on the site. The site is at [URL]. I have played with varying the shadow on the lefthand text image but it just can't emulate that on the right which was supplied with the site layout. I can't get the shadow to have the same soft blur as the text on the right.
I have some random curves (already created) and I want to blur them just from one side to have the same blur distance and effect one the whole curve.
To more precisely describe what I need, I need to create gradient with direction of normal for every "point". The best example I have found so far are borders in Civilization IV game. Here are two examples:
As you can see, there is a solid curve, which gradually blends (i.e. alpha channel is lowered) till the gradient disappears. I have the solid curve and the question is, what would be the simplest way how to do this (the number of curves is around 100) gradient.
I just got PSE CS6 and the blur too will NOT work ....blur filters work, but not BLUR in the tools panel I have tried: unintstall/reinstall, updating, using it no a picture straight after opening it, duplicate layers, selecting an area and then blurring....flattening an image, every single different setting in the the blur tools menu bar NOTHING works. And everything I find about blur is the new blur filters....
i have outlined this pic and used the Gaussian blur , but how would i soften the edges of the blur so it doesnt look so "sharp"? I want it to kinda blend in so to say here is the pic.
I have a photo which I believe was scanned in Microsoft Office Documrnt Imaging. It was saved in tif format (at least what that program called tif format). While the photos are supposed to be in tif format, I can't open them in Photoshop.
I downloaded the Photoshop CS6 trial verion yesterday and it worked great for afew hours, but I closed it and now every time I try and open it there's an error message "Adobe Photoshop CS6 hs encountered a problem and needs to close" what could have cause this and how do I fix it? I have windows XP and everything is up to date
Microsoft Corp. is teaming up with NAPP to teach its 43,000+ members how to take maximum advantage of Windows XP and Adobe® Photoshop®. Microsoft's sponsorship gives NAPP members exclusive access to a Microsoft-moderated Windows XP Forum on the NAPP member site.
I cannot get my Epson Perfection 3200 Photo to scan even using its own Epson Scan program. I always used Photoshop 7 to scan and import the images easily. Then we moved to a new house, and when I went to reconnect everything, Microsoft doesn't recognize the Epson scanner no matter what I do. Epson technicians were not able to help. I believe that it's a Microsoft acquisition problem. It says "Could not open the TWAIN source". Should I just remove everything that has to do with Epson, even the plug-in in Photoshop, then recalibrate my monitor and reload Epson after that?
Have Adobe photoshop elements 8. Have tried every thing that's called for, but can not get my pictures into the Microsoft Outlook. The program still want me to go to Internet control panel to make the change and I've done that.
I have just purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro in anticipation of running Photoshop on it. I installed Photoshop and tried to do some sketches. I created a new file and started sketching. I Immediately felt like something was wrong. I checked my brush settings and saw the pressure sensitivity was not available. Everytine I tried to turn it on it was marked with an exclamation point.  Does Adobe is supporting the new pressure sensitive pen from microsoft, or if there is some sort of setting that I am missing? I have tried sketchbook pro 2011, and that works amazingly well with the pen.Â
When I start up the 64bit version of Photoshop CS6 I get the R6034 error. After about 20 times to delete the error message 64bit CS5 starts. This does not happen with the 32 bit version. How do I fix this?
when I browse image files I find that the Photoshop/Adobe logo has been replaced by the Netscape logo. When I attach a file in email the N-scape logo is there by file name/number not Photoshop logo. Anyone know why or have this issue?
I have a .pdf that I want to use in a presentation next week. The problem is, since we last used this .pdf, we have changed our logo. How does one switch out one image out for another?
My old microsoft mouse died and i replaced it with a new 3500. For some reason, i cant get it to pan when i use the wheel button. it zooms fine with the wheel... just wont pan. I tried changing the wheel function in Control Panel... unfortunately Pan isn't an option for "program specific" functions. The ACAD help section lists pan as the only function with the wheel button.
I have a object data table attached to many polygon. In this table i have 2 line of data. I want to export in a tabloid like microsoft excel. I know autocad have a command to do this...
I have two identical computers (dell 745's) running windows 7 and Autocad 2012 (64bit). on one machine opening a drawing which has is a linked OLE document everything displays properly. On the other machine the same drawing is opened and only the top 1/4 or so of the OLE document is displayed in the area allocated to the OLE.
This drawing also displays correctly on a HP laptop running win 7 and autcad2012.
I have dumped the variables from all three machines using setvar and copy and pasting and can see nothing that is different between the machines.
I've used this method a lot in the past using acad2008/win xp pro and did run into a file occasionally the would mess with the OLE but it's been limited to one file once in a while. Now since I've upgraded this one machine refuses to handle any OLE's. I like the editing commands in word better the the limited commands in AutoCAD tables or Exel for that matter.
I have a emf file with microsoft graphics primitives(Created by microsoft application).I am getting the unknown format error when I try to open the file in Adobe illustrator.
I've just installed Corel Draw X3 and I'm trying to run a plug-in to control my plotter. The plug-in is not in corel draw where it should be. I think the plug-in is supposed to run through visual basic. If I mouse down to visual basic in corel draw I get an error message that says "Microsoft Visual Basic errors occurred during load. So I'm thinking the problem is with the visual basic program, but it was installed in the corel draw disc. I'm running Windows 7 if that makes any difference.
I want to link Microsoft Excel data with AutoCAD drawing (like dimension or values). When I made some changes in Excel data, value in AutoCAD drawing can be changes automatically.
