View 2 Replies View RelatedI have multiple layout pages (58 pages) and would like to print them in a printer at once. How do I do that?
Currently, I open 1 layout at a time then print it 1 by 1, in which its killing me specially if I do have lots of drawings.
Publish does saving in DWF, PDF... But does not print in the printer.
Adobe Colour Management Print defaults seems to be assigning RGB meta to B&W pages and incurring Colour Print charges for B&W prints.I can manually change the print colour management to Printer managed on a per print basis instead of the default adobe colour managed which "cures" the issue but I do not seem to be able to save that setting as the default.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using MS Windows System 7 and printing onto two networked printers, a Lexmark Pro205 and a HPD7460, It seems that when I have finished setting up a page of texts and inserts for a publication the page looks good on the screen and on the PRINT PREVIEW window of either PRINTER software but some of it does not print. The left side of the two column page prints OK but the right side is blank after the first line. The text that flows from page to page to page seems to be alright and the inserts that are not part of the flow text that has been inserted as wrap around text (surround) prints. The is simple missing. The next page of the same article is doing the same thing.
I originally had this problem in another document on the HP but not the Lexmark. Now I have it on both printers in this document.
I was wondering if there are control characters that the printers are acting upon during the print function. Can one see all the control functions on a page before printing or at will?
I have a Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 and Photoshop CS5.1 and have just hooked up my Epson RX580. On the window platform in another software program the multiple pages and/or poster options appear in the print window. But not in Photoshop on my mac. I have made sure to download the newest drivers etc.

When I merges the print I cannot “group” the pages to 8. The printer collates all the pages and make one booklet. How do I group the booklet one by one to several booklets of 8 pages. View 2 Replies View RelatedI work on Mac and would like to print a design over multiple pages. The recurring problem however is that the printed sheets have a thin unprinted, blank border. I've tried various options in the print dialogue box, including all the borderless page setup options. This 2mm border keeps appearing in my prints. This is for silkscreening, so even though its only a 2mm border, this gap prevents me from putting all the printed sheets together as one design. The design, via the print dialogue box, is being saved as a PostScript file due to doing colour separations.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to bring up a the printer dialogue box or tell the printer I need more than 1 print of the layout? It's time consuming to hit that printer button x number of times. I just had to print 50 pages of the same layout today and it would be so much easier to let the printer print the 50 copies instead of sending 1 page 50 times to the printer.

View 0 Replies View RelatedI have a DesignJet T1100ps and a DesignJet Z5400. I have a PDF from a client that has 2 pages that are ARCH D size and 3 pages that are 11x17. All pages in the PDF came from AutoCAD 2013 paper spaces. The plotters are in offices 50 miles apart.
When I print to the T1100 and state pick page size by PDF page size and choose the option actual size the plot print correctly. The plotter will nest the pages and print to scale. I get 2 Arch D pages and 3 11x17 pages.
When I print to the Z5400 the pages get changed to ANSI D pages and get cut off because there are 2 inches of paper missing. If I shrink the plot I can print them so they are not to scale but fit inside the ANSI D size page. This doesn't work when we need scale drawings. The Z5400 and the previous DesignJet 800 both have this issue.
Due to the distance of the printers I can not plot at one office for use at the other. I would like to try and solve the issue via software if possible. So far my only work around is to pick ARCH D in the plotter driver and print all pages to ARCH D by shutting off the option to print pages by PDF page size. This wastes a lot of paper because we print actual size. I can also print one page at a time.
We asked for the drawing and were able to get an original copy but it is GSA and they typically do not provide the originals. If I print form the drawing directly to the plotter from AutoCAD everything comes out the right size. AutoCAD also generates the PDF file correctly according to the page properties.
What might cause Adobe to change our CAD prints in a PDF from the ARCH D size to ANSI D size for this Z5400 plotter?

I use laptop to print pictures and graphics.
I send my designs to a commercial printing company. Usual case is, is that the pictures turn out too dark or too lite, and sometimes it is due to the fact that the CMYK colors are overaly saturated causing all these colors layer to overprint and make it come out too dark. On my screen I dont see those oversaturated colors, I see a picture that looks good on screen. When Im using flat color somewhere, I have a swatch book that I use to assign number to each color and so the results are always great. But you cant do that with pictures, with pictures you have no idea. I use a color picker and set it to 5 point average to measure color, but it really doesnt tell me much. How can I measure a whole picture and be able to tell if the output looks oversaturated or undersaturated or too lite or too dark?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to print 2 5x7 pics on one sheet of 8.5x11 paper. On the screen everything looks fine. I rotate the image, then uncenter the image to the top edge. I print the picture once, put the sheet back in turned 180 degrees, then print again. In previous versions this worked fine. Now, in version 11, it does not want to work. I have tried changing the size settings to custom 5x7. It still does not work. The image comes out 5" horizontally including a 1/4" border. Vertically, it comes out 5", no border. I am wasting a lot of paper trying to figure out where the problem is to no avail.

When I print separations my spot channel prints as a shade of grey. Several other vector items (generated in illustrator) using the same pantone print as a solid 100% black. I'm worried that my file will print with the transparency part of my pantone as a shade of its self when I send the files to the printer.
